Pairing: Hmmmm?there's suppose to be a pairing, OK if you insist I 
would have to say Buffy/Willow, and :-) this ones for my wiser sib 
and fellow gutter dweller?Alex/Faith /Cordelia
Notes: . Let me see?Oh yeah, I'm leaving this weekend to go home for 
the holidays (first time I've seen my family in about two years, 
should prove to be interesting at the least) so I figured I would 
help kick of the holiday season in the gutter with a Yuletide trip to 
the forest, Oh yeah and I'm adding a new charter this time around to 
help brighten up things for a certain badger. Let the nonsensical 
mischief begin.

"So did you her about Cordelia and Xander," Questioned the bunny 
slayer as she and her friends sat around their usual booth at Froggy 
Pond.

"No, what about them," replied Bill Gopher.

"They broke up,"

"What, when, why," asked the two road runners in unison.

"They called it quits," answered the Bunny slayer.

The red fox then took up where Buffy had left off, "It happened about 
a week ago, apparently They where losing interest in on another while 
Monkey boy was gaining interest in that other monkey that's been 
staying with him."

"The one who escaped from the zoo," added Buffy.

"Oh we see," responded the road runners.

"I just got one question," said Bill as he sipped on a froggy Cola.

"What," replied Buffy.

"What's her name."

"The monkey."

"Yes the Monkey."

Buffy looked over at the red fox and her shy cousin who both shrugged 
there shoulders, she then turned back to Bill, "That's a good 
question.

"It' Anya," Replied Sammy cutting into the conversation as he 
strolled up to the booth wearing shades and partaking on a half empty 
bottle of eucalyptus jack.

"OK now that that's settled, lets move on to the important stuff, 
what's everyone bringing to the party,' asked Buffy.

"wait a second, I know where all looking forward to the bash at Alex 
and Faith's but you just dumped some major news on us," replied 
Kimber.

"Your point," answered the Bunny slayer.

"Is Cordy OK?"

"Yeah, she's been staying at Alex and Faith's since the break up and 
seems to be getting along fine."

Just then the demented fruit bat flew over to the booth and took a 
sit, she smiled a mischievous smile then spoke, "So you tell `em 
about Cordy yet?"

"Yep," replied Willow in an attempt to move the conversation along.

Kimber looked at the other road runner, "I think they're not telling 
us the whole story."

"I agree," answered Lisa.

Both the roadrunners looked the Bunny slayer and red fox in the 
eyes, "So."

Before either one of them could reply Shadow spoke up, "Lets just say 
that Cordy is getting along REAL well with Alex and Faith."

"OK now that we're done diving into our friends personal lives can we 
get back to the party," asked Willow.

"Cool, what's everyone bring," replied Sammy as he turned to the 
demented Fruit bat, "Hopefully Jungle Juice."

"Actually I was gonna bring Eggnog," replied Shadow, "But don't worry 
I think it will go over big."

"Cool, and the rest off you,."

"You'll have to wait and see," mischievously replied Kimber.

Two Days later, Alex's lair?..

Everyone was gathered in the main room of the lair as Sammy and Bill 
started serving drinks from the Badgers bar. Giles sat in the corner 
wearing a Santa hat and sipping on some white lighting why he 
occasionally would eye his former Fighter cap that Willows shy cousin 
now was wearing and reminding himself that it was a small price to 
get that half crazed Koala out of his tree. Xander and Anya where 
attempting to talk to Buffy and Willow but couldn't seem to get them 
past a rather large collection of monkey jokes that the couple have 
been working on. The two road runners where taking turns running up 
behind Rod and yelling Mep-Meep to see how high they could make the 
Coyote jump, while Gus was grilling fish and veggies. Shadow had 
taken a seat across from the vampire teddy bear and was greatly 
enjoying pestering him.

Alex looked around the room and smiled as he put one arm around Faith 
and the other around Cordelia, "Looks like everyone is having fun, 
wouldn't you say luv's."

Both the Brunette Bunny and the Peacock gave him a peck on the cheek 
and replied in unison looks that way.

"OK foods on," shouted Gus as everyone swarmed towards the indoor BBQ.
"So since it's Christmas do you guys think we should say grace," 
asked Willow as her friends prepared to dive into the Christmas feast.

"Sure," replied Sammy, "Hey Shadow could you do the honors."

"Sure thing," replied the demented fruit back, "Grace!"

"OK lets eat," added Sammy as he picked up some grilled eucalyptus.

Giles nibbled on his food for awhile before he started speaking, "You 
know this is kinda like when I was in southern France, me and snoopy 
had just gotten a little R&R time and were at a cantina sipping on 
sarsaparilla talking about how it would be nice to finally get the 
red baron, when Colonel sanders came in, well lets just say he had 
some good news for us, it seems that the baron had just been spotted 
some sixty miles south of our location?"

"Oh no not again," moaned the shy fox as she pulled the fighter cap 
down over her head to cover her ears, causing the Dread Parrot 
Roberts to break out in laughter, "Come on shy it's not quite that 
bad."

"Yes it is," Replied the shy fox.

"She's right," said Xander as he got up and walked over to 
Giles, "Hey uh could you"

"Could I what," inquired Giles.

"Uhm lay of the Snoopy stories for one night, please,"

"Why I outta.."

"Hey Giles did you see the present that everyone got you." Said the 
Bunny slayer

"No."

It's by the tree," replied the Bunny slayer as she pointed to the 
new rocker they had gotten the aging owl.

After Giles got up from his chair and went to try out the new rocker 
Buffy turned to Xander, "Looks like you owe me on scooter boy."

"Thanks Buffy,"

"Don't mention it, by the way me and Willow got you a present to," 
she replied pointing to a big box that was sitting over in the Corner.

Xander rushed over there with Anya in tow as Buffy looked over at 
Shadow, "This outta be good."

"It certainly should," answered the fruit bat grinning ear to ear.

Everyone sat on the edge of there seats as Xander rapidly opened the 
box revealing a red scooter. The ex-circus monkey screamed and 
jumped straight up into the air, landing on top of his new girlfriend.

"Xander not here," shouted Anya. causing him to blush.

Sammy walked over to the Bunny slayer and Shadow, "I didn't no 
monkeys could change to that shade of red.," said the Koala causing 
everyone to break out laughing.

Later that night after the party broke up?.

"That was one heck of a bash," said Alex as he headed towards the bed 
room with Faith and Cordy right behind him.

"Neither did I," responded Cordy.

"Same here," replied Faith, "I just want to know what Shadow put in 
the eggnog. "

"Yeah, that was some powerful stuff," added Alex as he gave both of 
them a hug.

"First time I ever saw a Koala put a light shade on his head and sing 
Louie, Louie," chuckled Cordy.

"Yeah, that was a good one but not quite as good as Gus juggling 
plates and singing Christmas songs," added Faith.

"Uh sweetheart, I don't think `It's Christmas give me presents is a 
official Christmas song," replied tha Badger as he gave the brunette 
Bunny a peck on the cheek.

Cordy kissed Faith on the other cheek, "Yeah I think he's right."

"Whatever," replied Faith as she took the two fo them By the 
hand, "Lets go have a little fun then call it a night."


Alex looked up from the bed, a big smile across his face, and 
wondered if he should tell Willow and Buffy that the flavor of 
chicken was universal.
