RECAP: Willow accidently kissed Buffy, then ran off into the night.
Which, of course, lead to her being attacked by vampires. Buffy finds
her, but Willow gets knocked unconscious and Buffy get badly cut with
a REALLY big knife.

Buffy stumbled into the dorm room while protectively holding her
precious load. [She has to wake up.] Buffy set her red haired friend
down on her bed and began to shake the unconscious girl. "Willow.
Wills, you have to wake up." Buffy looked down at the girl who held
her heart, covered in blood, but didn't notice, only taking stock of
Willow's prone state. "Willow! Willow baby please wake up!" [No it
can't end like this.] "God, I don't care what happens to me just..."
[Please] "Willow, baby this isn't funny. Please wake up!" Buffy
started crying partly from the pain in her stomach, but mostly
because of Willow. "Please." "Buffy? Wha? Buffy don't cry." The
blonde's head jerked up. "Willow! Oh, Wills. I don't know what I
would have done if you had-" With that said Buffy passed out on the
floor. "Buffy!" Willow looked down at her friend covered in blood.
[Where is it coming from?] Buffy's shirt was so bloody that Willow
wouldn't have known what color her friends shirt had been if she
hadn't seen when Buffy had out it on earlier that morning. "What
happened to her during that fight?" Willow pulled the shirt up, and
gasped when it the bunch in her hand came away from the rest of the
shirt. "Oh my God!" Willow ripped the rest of the shirt off to see
better. [I can't fix this. Giles.] Willow called Giles and told him
Buffy was seriously hurt. "I have to calm down. Buffy needs me to be
calm right now. What do I do? Think! Okay, okay. Stop the bleeding."
Willow grabbed one of her towels and held it to Buffy's wound. The
blonde whimpered as the towel was pressed into her stomach a
bit. "Oh, Buffy. I'm so sorry." [Giles hurry!] "Buffy please don't
die. I would never forgive myself. Not yet, please." Willow looked
down at the ashen face of her best friend," Buffy you can't die, not
now. I need you. I- I love you." Whispered Willow
brokenly, crying. "How long has she been bleeding?" Giles's closed the
open door. "About, I don't know, 15 minutes." "let me have a look."
Willow removed the, now red, towel from Buffy's stomach. "From the
looks of it and from what you've told me, we can assume she has lost
a lot of blood. The first thing we must do is stitch it up. Go into
my bag and get the thread and needle out." Willow did as told and
practically flew to the bag, gathering the materials, and was back at
Buffy's side in an instant. Willow sat, holding Buffy's hand, as
Giles stitch up the large wound, wincing each time the needle pierced
the skin. Giles looked at Willow,"Are you all right?" "Yes. Fine."
Giles looked over Willow, eyeing the wound on her head. "Yes, yes
ofcourse. We need to move her, make sure she doesn't start bleeding
again." Carefully they lifted the battered slayeronto a bed. "She
should be fine in a few days. I'll stop by tomorrow to check in her."
Giles left.[I hope they will be all right.]

Willow sat by Buffy the whole night, just watching her breathe, until
she fell asleep early in the morning. Her dreams were plagued with
scenes of Buffy pushing her out of the way, and Buffy dying in her
arms. When she woke up she immediately noticed the blue eyes staring
into hers. "Buffy! How are you feeling? I was so worried..." "It's
all right Wills, I'll be fine. Feeling a little like a human
shishkabob, but other than that I'm great." Willow started
crying. "Willow don't cry. I didn't mean it. I was trying to joke."
Willow shook her head. "It doesn't matter you wouldn't be a human
shishkabob if it weren't for me." Buffy shifted to where she was in a
sitting position and motioned Willow to come closer, emcompassing her
in a hug. "Its all right baby, its okay. I'll be okay. Please stop
crying." Willow stopped as she realized what her friend had said. "Do
you mean that?" "Ofcourse I do. I'll be okay in a couple of
days." "That isn't what I meant Buffy. Not that I don't want you to
get better, I mean the umm... what you said." "I do." "Really?" Buffy
pulled back from Willow and looked into her eyes. "I do, really. I
love you." She pulled Willow back to her and kissed the red head's
hair she often dreamed about. "I love you more than anything. I would
do anything for you. Even if I had known that I would have died out
their tonight, I still would have gone to save you." "Buffy, you know
that I love you too." Buffy looked at Willow, her eyes shining with
tears, asking silent permission, which Willow shook her head yes. At
first the kiss was sweet and simple, niether girl pushing the other,
afraid yet thrilled of this new experience with each other. They
kissed again, this time with an all consuming passion, that had been
there for years. When they pulled away, from lack of oxygen, "That
was..." "Amazing." finished Willow. "I knew it would be incredible,
but that was just." "Buffy?" "Yeah Wills?" "Shouldn't you be lying
down?" "Only if you lay down with me." Buffy moved so Willow could
get on the bed, but immediately put her arms back around Willow once
she was settled. "What if someone comes in?" "I don't care." [No one
that matters would care either.] said Buffy. "I waited for this
moment for years, and now that it's here I'm not going another minute
without you in my arms."

KNOCK! KNOCK!

"Rise and shine my friends!"

Buffy and Willow looked at one another, eachin thinking the same
thing. [Oh Crap!]
