Post-V-day greetings from Listmum

Mwahahahaha! Another Valentine's day come and gone. Lovers walk 
quietly down the street hand in hand. . .hopes of shagging the night 
away dancing in their heads. Shadow's in the corner making mischief 
as usual. . .as we recently just witnessed with her post of Dauntless 
part 6. Shadow ? you're evil. . .never change!!! Though how Aly and 
I became merged into one person on top of being Scientific Officers, 
well, that one's beyond even MY imagination. . .though I guess just 
about anything can happen in a transporter beam gone horribly wrong.  
LOL. (I suddenly have this image of a being. . .half chipmunk and 
half road runner. . .running around the lower levels of the gutter 
searching for the rileyshaped fungus demon's ghost, looking to do 
experiments on it. The head and body of a chipmunk, legs of a road 
runner, with a black mask on, black cape flapping in the wind. . .and 
a big blue foofy tail poking out from under the cape. ::snicker::  
you guys will thank me for that image later. LOL )

So anyways? just wanted to say I hope all of you had a wonderful 
Valentine's day with or without tender Sarah McLachlan Love or Wild 
Monkey Love. If you were without either or both, well, all I can 
tell you is to be grateful for the friends and family in your life as 
I am. You're listmum has had a rough time of it lately, and being 
one not to complain too much, I haven't posted at all. . .but don't 
think I'm not paying attention. I especially noticed that Red Demon 
has returned to the fold and is continuing "Flying without Wings" ? 
of which I am very grateful because the story rocks. No. . .no 
worries about me abandoning you, I will not go the way of the vamp 
listdad and forget about you all. ( Just where the hell is Rod 
anyway? ::shrug:: ) 

So anyways, I'm being long winded as usual but my whole point was 
this. I'm sure some of you may or may not know of our very own 
elusive Phantom Chipmunk, a.k.a Aly Harper, author of "Desperately 
Wanting" ( which she has to pick up soon. Ahem *hint hint* ), leader 
of the band of crazy nutz that frequent the AIM chatroom daily, 
admirer of all things Cave-Slayer and Cat-Willow related, tormentor 
of Quindolyn and torment target of yours truly. heh. I got a 
delivery at work this morning. I opened the box jus waiting for 
something to jump out and scare, or lick, the bejesus outa me ( my 
little vampire fruit bat has been threatening to mail herself to me.  
Though I can't figure out why. . .she was mumbling something about 
tummy rubs earlier ::shrug:: ) And what to my wondering eyes did 
appear????? Two dozen purple carnations?not one dozen, NO?.TWO, 
count them, TWO dozen purple carnations that are blooming as I sit 
here and write this. ::big goofy grin:: The phantom chipmunk has 
struck!!!! I got flowers for Valentine's day!! Well, `big deal' 
you're probably mumbling incoherently under your breath at me?.well?
it IS a big deal, `least to me it is. And I had to share my joyous 
rapture with all of my lil listkids and publicly embarass Aly onlist 
by saying thank you so much and I love you for thinking of 
me ::grin:: ( I can't wait till you get your little 
package. . .albeit a little late and all?but still! )
