One of my coworkers is an Indonesian national (he comes from a village
just outside Jakarta, IIRC) so we have been following the situation as
best we can. He emailed some photos around showing the aftermath of
the killings in Sampit. I uploaded then to my web space:

Words like sickening and horrific come to mind but don't really cover
it.

My coworker is glad to be out of it and in this country. The current
situation in Indonesia, based on what I've read, seems to be very
similar to the situation in Eastern Europe, with much the same causes,
but a few degrees higher in intensity.

Sorry for the OT but I thought it important.
