Thanks guys.

I'm taking a trip to Stonehenge this weekend (weather and Foot 'n'
Mouth willing), so I don't know how much writing time I'll have. But
I'll be thinking about you all. (And Soren...)
Anne-Lise.

"What if he's mad?" Buffy asked, as she and the other scoobs stood
looking at each other outside Giles' house.
"Mad?" Xander blinked. "Just because you ran away and abandoned your
post and your friends and your mom and made him lay awake every night
worrying about you?" His words caught up with his brain. He turned to
Oz and Willow. "Maybe we should wait out here."
Buffy gave him a Look.
"Well, running away was kind of cruel and childish," Xander
said. "Unless you were running away to, say, join the circus. Which
would have been kinda cool." He frowned. "Unless you became a clown."
"Clowns are evil," Willow noted.
"All of them." Xander confirmed, a faint smile flickered across his
face. "Without exception."
"I didn't become a clown." Buffy said, quietly. She stared pointedly
down at her feet. "See? Little feet."
"You'd look good with a big red nose though," Willow shrugged.
"So," Xander asked as Buffy knocked the door. "Did you go to
Belgium?"
