I don't know that this part was all that hard to understand. As far as I
can see your tying up some loose ends, it made perfect sense to me but I
usually try to read each chapter as it's own story. 

I know that seems a little strange, but when has a were-badger made much
to anyone (except Shadow).

I like the addition of Joyce and Al'x having a daughter. It adds a
certain new depth to their relationship, and give Al'x a reason to some
of his his reactions to what is happening around him.

As always I'm looking forward to your next chapter.

You do great work and I must once thank you for seeing fit to sharing
your amazing talent with those of us less gifted ones out here. 

Take care and above all have fun cause in the end that's all we have.
