Tale of the Warrior Mongoose

Disclaimer: Unfortunately I do not own any of the BtVS characters 
(extremely sad face), they belong to Joss. I'm only taking them out 
to play, it's for fun, and nothing more.
Archive: The usual suspects, anyone else please ask, I'll say yes
Pairing: Kinda sorta B/W but there is also Alex/F/C too <Hysterical 
laughter>, oh yeah and Carol/Kate can't forget that one :-)
Notes: . Yeah you heard me right warrior mongoose, time to meet the 
newest addition to the woods and have a little fun. Hope you enjoy 
my tale of madness.. :-)
Side note: Forgive me if I accidentally left any off the inhabitants 
out but the woods has grown a lot since all this started along time 
ago. I included all the charters I could recall and hopefully I got 
everyone because all you guys are way cool.

Froggy pond was hopping to the beat of the house band the Lounge 
Lizards as they did a Stray Cats tribute. The Bunny Slayer and 
Little red fox where out on the dance floor tearing the joint up with 
their moves, The red foxes shy cousin sat at a booth wearing a WW II 
fighter cap. She was playing Gin Rummy with Sammy Koala, The flying 
Fox, and Quin Eagle and taking all three of them to the cleaners.   
Off in the corner Alex badger sat at his normal booth With Faith on 
his right and Cordelia on his left. Across the able from him was 
Xander and Anya both wearing their red fezzes.

"So here's the deal Xander, you have to drink a shot for everyone I 
do, first one to pass out losses."

"I think I can handle that."

"Ok, but the two off you might want to take those fezzes off first."

"Why is that?"

"Because not only is The bunny slayer and her chief stake holder 
Willow here, but so are Sammy and Shadow. If any of them see you in 
those ridiculous hats you'll never hear the end of it."

"He's got a point sweetly," replied Anya as she took of her fez.

"OK, I'll do it but I like that fez," Xander protested.

After Xander removed his fez, he began the white lighting shot game 
with Alex. On the other side of Froggy pond Giles had cornered Bill 
gopher, Gus the grizzly, and the Dread parrot Yoshi in a booth and 
was relating to them about the time Him and his buddy Snoopy where 
trapped behind enemy lines and had to hide out in a Chateau.

All the sudden the two road runners and phantom chipmunk burst into  
Froggy pond and announced that The swap was being over ran by Finn 
serpents and they that they had captured Rod Coyote and where holding 
him for ransom.

Sammy turned looked over at the Roadrunners and chipmunk, "Just have 
Tony the Croc keep care of them."

The flying Fox looked at Sammy, "He can't he's out tracking down the 
poodle boy demon who tried to smash up Froggy Garcia's mushroom 
patch."

The bunny slayer walked over to the road runners, "I'll do it, Finn 
serpents can't be that tough."

""No Buffy you can't, it's to dangerous," The little red fox stated.

""Why is that."

"Because Finn serpents are cowardly so they travel in large numbers, 
besides they are venomous."

"Great just what we need a bunch of poisonous Finn serpents, how 
deadly are they," The Bunny Slayer inquired.

Giles had got up from his rocker and moved over next to the Bunny 
slayer and her little red fox, "They are not exactly deadly, the Finn 
serpents venom is far worse, it drains the personality out of the 
snakes victim."

"OH my," The Bunny slayer exclaimed.

Alex badger gave Faith Bunny and Cordelia peacock both a peck on the 
cheek and stood up and cleared his throat, "Ok there is no need for 
panic I know just what to do."

Every body in Froggy pond turned their attention to the wise badger 
and waited for him to speak. Once Alex was sure he had all their 
attention he continued, "We need a specialist for this."

Shadow jumped up, "You mean like Carol.!"

Sammy's eyes widened, "Yeah the warrior mongoose could take out a 
army of Finn serpents."

"Exactly," replied Alex, "Shadow you and Sammy go find Carol and let 
her know what is going on, everybody else just stay here and wait for 
the Finn serpents to get taken out."

After a half hour of searching both Shadow and Sammy ended up at the 
warrior mongooses lair and heard her exclaim from behind the 
door, "I'll be there in a second."

Shadow looked over at the Koala, "You know maybe we should have 
looked here first."

"Sammy just nodded his head, "But I could have sworn she would have 
been at the Jungle Juice Factory."

"Right, just like you thought she was gonna be at the Mocha shoppe."

"OK you got me but it wasn't my Idea to look for here at Lilly's 
anime pad."

"Hey I though she might be looking for the newest release of 
Bubblegum Crisis."

Just then Carol opened the door to her lair and invited Shadow and 
Sammy in, a scantly clad Kate Squirrel, the new inspector for the 
forest police department, was trying to hid her handcuffs hoping the 
Koala and Flying Fox wouldn't notice.

Carol looked at both of them as she kicked a leather paddle under the 
couch, "What brings you guys here?"

"We have problems in the swap Carol, and we need your help," Shadow 
stated.

"What's the deal?"

"Its Finn serpents," Sammy Replied.

"They have captured the Coyote and are holding him hostage, demanding 
that we turn over the rights to the Jungle Juice factory."

"I see," stated Carol as she moved over to her fireplace and removed 
a Katana blade from the mantle, "I'll keep care of them. Head back 
to Riley pond and take Kate with you, I'll meet every one there."

Carol moved quickly through the swap, slicing through Riley serpents 
left and right and using here mongoose speed to easily dodge the 
slothful snakes strikes. She fought her way to the center of the 
swap and spotted Rod Coyote surrounded by five Finn serpents and a 
Trevors Cobra that called himself Watcher.

"I should know you where behind this Watcher," The warrior mongoose 
shouted as she quickly sliced the two Finn serpents closest to her in 
half.

Watcher waited wrapped himself around the chair they Finn serpents 
had tied Rod Coyote to and waited for the warrior mongoose to finish 
off the last of the hapless serpents.

The Trevors Cobra hissed at Carol, "Are you fast enough to get to the 
Coyote before I do?"

Without warning Carol sprung into action, quickly closing the 
distance between herself and Watcher she was upon the plotting snake 
before he knew what happened, and with one swift siege of her Katana 
blade ended the siege of the swap.

Back at Froggy pond all was well, Kate leaned up against the Warrior 
mongoose as she told Shadow and Sammy about her battle. Quin eagle 
was off in the corner challenging the dread Parrot Yoshi to a flying 
race, and the Bunny slayer was trying to convince that the red fox 
that they should go home so she could test her taste like chicken 
theory again.

Alex was shaking his head as he looked at the passed out monkey 
sitting across from him, he turned to Faith and Cordelia, "I can't 
believe it, only five drinks and Xander's out."

Across the room Bill, and Gus had managed to get away from Giles who 
know was relaying the story about how he and snoopy had shot down a 
weather balloon thinking it was the red baron to the red fox's shy 
cousin.
