Buffy Summers was With her boyfriend, lounging on his bed ie. making 
out. [I'm forgetting somethin important.] Buffy broke the kiss, adn 
started gathering up her things.
"Where are you going?"
"I forgot I had to study with Wills."
"Right now?" Buffy looked at Riley, who was scowling.
"Yes rightnow. Unless you want me to fail psychology!"
"I'm sorry."
"It's okay. See ya later." [Damn Willow Rosenberg! Always coming 
between me and Buffy.] 


Willow's eyes fell on the clock. [Oh no! I have to go meet Buffy!'
"Oz I have to leave." The blue jaried guitarist set down the guitar 
he had been tuning.
"Cool, so do I. The Dingoes are going to L.A. this weekend for a 
gig." Willow's smile faded. 
"Why didn't you tell me?" Oz turned back to his guitar.
"I forgot. I'm sorry."
"Alright, but I have to go meet Buffy now." Willow leaned in for a 
kiss goodbye, but was waved off by the blue haired guitarist.
"We gotta start getting ready." Willow turned around and walked out, 
and not for the first time wondering about her realtionship with Oz.


"I think we need a break Wills."
"Yeah." The blonde stood up and stretched, unknowingly holding Willow 
captive by the graceful movements. [Stop it! Bad hormones. Bad, bad, 
she's so beautiful! Bad thoughts!!] Buffy turned around to face 
Willow.
"So what do you say? Should we hit the Bronze?" Images of Buffy 
dancing flittered across Willow's mind.
"No. I'll just... stay here and work. Oz is going out of town so I'll 
have lots of time to study."
"You sure?"
"Yeah go call Riley and have fun." [But i would have more fun if you 
were there.] Buffy shook her head as she reached for the phone. 
[Where did that come from?]

KNOCK! KNOCK!

Willow opened the door to find Riley scowling at her.
"Hi." Willow squeaked as the soldier strolled into the room. 
"Riley! Wanna go Bronzing?" The blonde hung up the phone and smiled. 
Riley looked between the two girls, silently woncering if the redhead 
was coming too.
"It will just be the two of us." Riley smiled
"Alright." Buffy grabbed her jacket adn started to leave, but turned 
bac one last time.
"Last chance. You sure you don't want to come with us Wills?" 
"Yup. Positive."
"Okay. Bye."



[I can't believe she was trying to get Willow to tag along!] Buffy 
tapped Riley on the shoulder.
"What's with the deep thoughts?"
"I'm just a little mad. We hardly get anytime together and your 
trying to invite Willow to come along on our date." Buffy stopped 
walking.
"What? Why shouldn't I have? She wasn't doing anything else?" Riley 
glared, his anger struggling out of his grasp.
"You invited her to come along on our date. Repeatedly. You do stuff 
like this all the time. Inviting her. Doesn't she have a boyfriend?!"
Buffy felt her control slipping.
"Ofcourse she does! And right now he is out of town, I was just 
trying to be nice!" 
"Your always trying to be nice when it comes to her! I wonder about 
the two of you."
"You what?"
"Nothing." Buffy felt what little control she had left snap.
"Listen to me Riley, and listen good. Don't you ever talk about 
Willow like that again."
"What the hell?! Buffy do you even realize what you sound like?"
The blonde just glared at him.
"This is what I'm talking about. The 'Willow is the best at' shit. 
Make me think- wonder if you guys are just best friends, or the best 
kind of friends?!" Buffy smacked Riley. Hard. He fell to the ground, 
blood down his chin.
"Hit a nerve?" He grinned wiping ther blood off."Am I not allowed to 
talk about your girl?" Buffy stood still trying not to kill the 
insensitive bastard. 
"You make me sick Riley Finn." 
"Yeah? Well, you disgust me." The soldier got up and walked away.
[He thinks that Wills and I-] She stopped the thought before it could 
hurt her again. [I can't belive he would- I mean sure I like Wills. 
But like like her?]
