Archive: The usual suspects (you know who you are), all others just
shoot me an email first.
Pairing: B/C F/W
Special thanks: Coy you like so rock, thanks for not only doing a
most cool job beta'ing and editing but for giving way cool advise and
be a like totally awesome friend.
Spoilers: a little from season three but I changed it so I am not
sure if it matters.
Summery: Based after season three but before season 4. Buffy and
Cordelia have been dating since Season two making the ex-cheerleaders
attitude a little different than it was in that time line on the
show, dating and being in love with Buffy has made her nicer, she
still has stunning fashion sense and needs to work on her tact a
little. Faith is helping Buffy slay and is getting along pretty good
with the Blonde slayer and the rest of the scoobs, she still is Faith
but not the Dark Slayer.
Notes: Faith makes a confession why on patrol that puts Buffy and
Cordelia into motion. Have Fun
Feedback is most yummy, it is the sweet nectar my muse thrives off
of. So please send it is a writing drug to my muse.

Buffy and Faith sat at the table listening as Giles talked about the
schedule of tonight's patrol. Giles pointed out on his map of
Sunnydale the three cemeteries he wanted the slayers to take a look
at, along with a warehouse that he wanted checked out because there
was reason t believe that a band of vampires had made it there home.

Buffy leaned her head on Cordelia shoulder as Giles talked, half
listening to what the watcher had to say, but more concerned about
her and Cordelia date tonight. Every now and then when Giles would
cover an important point about the patrol Cordelia would nudge her
girlfriend from under the table to make sure Buffy heard what he had
said.

Faith on the other hand was trying to soak in every word that she
could, but the younger slayer was finding it hard to do so. She kept
catching herself looking at Willow, and hoping that no one else
noticed. Faith wasn't sure why she did it, all she knew that there
was something special about the redhead, the way she babbled, how she
would sit at the computer for hours trying to find information on the
newest big bad in town, the way she would twirl her hair with her
index finger when she was listening to Giles give lectures on
vampires and demons. Faith noticed all theses things about Willow
and more, she found herself wishing that her and Willow could have
the same thing that Buffy and Cordelia had, the only problem was that
she wasn't sure how Willow would react if she asked her out, or even
to how to go about asking out the shy hacker.

Faith had just finished getting the supplies she needed for the
patrol and was waiting for Buffy to finish packing her backpack for
tonight patrol. Faith shook her head as Cordelia helped Buffy finish
tossing her slaying supplies into her backpack. Faith shook her head
in amusement as she watched her fellow slayer get ready for patrol;
<B could pack a lot faster if she didn't kiss Cordy every time she
put something in the backpack. >

Faith leaned up against the wall waiting to leave for the patrol and
watched as Willow went over and handed a silver cross to Buffy, the
blonde slayer hugged her best friend and Cordelia did the same.
Faith could feel her heartbeat getting faster as Willow left the two
love birds and started to head towards her. She noticed how graceful
the shy hackers' movements where as Willow made her way over to the
door. Faith took in each step Willow made; she noted how Willows
flowing red hair seemed to dance as she moved. <Come on Spencer you
got to get it together or your gonna freak out Red. >

"Uhh, Faith? You OK," Willow nervously inquired as she stood in
front of the brunette slayer who seemed to be off somewhere on
another planet.'

Faith snapped out of here trance and saw that Willow was standing
right in front of here and quickly gathered her thoughts, "Yeah I'm
five by five red."

"You sure because you where out of it for few seconds."

"Absolutely sure, my mind just drifted."

"OK as long as your OK," Willow replied trying to overcome her ever
increasing heart rate.

Willow reached in her jacket pocket and pulled out a silver cross on
a chain and handed it to Faith, "I got this for you,
accuallyforyouandbuffy, wellaccaulyGilesgotthem,
Ididputaprotectionspeelonthemthough,
youknowforgoodluckwhileyou'reonepatrol."

Faith took the silver cross and wondered not only how it was possible
for someone to say all that in one breath, but how she managed to
know what Willow was saying."

Faith smiled and put the silver cross around her neck, "Thanks Red,
it's totally cool."

"You're welcome," Willow cheerfully replied.

The two of them stood there awkwardly for a moment, Faith found
herself wanting to grab Willow and pull her into a hug, <God she's
cute when she babbles like that. >

Faith stood their kicking her foot against the leg of one of Giles
chairs trying to find the words to say something intelligent to
Willow besides you're ravishing and I want to kiss you all over. She
gave a quick glance to Buffy and Cordelia who had finished packing
the blonde slayers backpack and where now engaged into their nightly
pre-patrol kissing, "B! Hurry up already we got vamps to stake!"

Buffy turned her head towards Faith and shot her a quick look, "OK,
give me one more second," she then turned her attention back to her
girlfriend, "Looks like I gotta go. Remember you find out what you
can from Willow and I'll talk with Faith. OK?"

"Sure sweetheart but are you sure about this?'

"I'm positive," Buffy confidently stated.

Cordelia took a quick look or at Faith and Willow then gave Buffy a
mischievous smile, "So you think they got the hots for each other."

"I'd bet a month of kisses on it."

"I might have to take you up on that bet, I could handle a month of
kisses from you," Cordelia playfully replied.

Buffy smiled at her girlfriend and gave her a quick kiss, "then it's
a bet. Well I got to run, see you at the Bronze, love you."

Cordelia returned Buffy's kiss, "Love you too."

Cordelia sat nervously at the table with Willow, she was used to
Buffy going out on patrols but it still made her stomach knot up
anyway. She looked over at Willow and could tell the hacker was just
as nervous about the slayers being out on patrol as she was, "So
Willow you going to the Bronze tonight."

"Wouldn't miss it for anything, I love the post patrol Bronze parties
we have in the summertime."

"Same here, well with the exception of the one after Buffy and Faith
took out the mayor."

"That was a good party, why didn't you like it?"

"Oh I liked it, it was just a little embarrassing when Giles got up
on stage and sang."

"He did a good job," Willow Protested.

"Willow, he sang a song from the Simpsons."

"It was funny."

"Willow I hate to break it to you but there is nothing funny about a
middle aged Watcher singing Do the Bartman at a night club for
teenagers."

"Well it could have been worse."

"How's that?"

"He could have made it a duet with Xander."

Cordelia almost fell out of her chair laughing, "Willow you're evil."

"Am not."

"OK you're not evil but you're pretty funny when you want to be."

"Thanks."

"Don't mention it," Cordelia paused for a moment and stared right at
Willow, "Can I talk to you about something serious for a moment?"

"Sure what up?"

"That's what I was going to ask you."

"I'm not sure I'm following you."

"Willow, what's up with you and Faith?"

On the other side of town. Buffy and Faith had just finished the
patrolling the second cemetery and where heading towards third and
final cemetery of the night

"So Faith what's the deal with you and Willow?"
Faith stopped dead in her tracts and gave Buffy a shocked look, "Uh,
B what are you talking about?"

"I'm talking about how turn into Jell-O like state every time Willow
gets within two feet of you."

"I...I do not," A flustered Faith stated.

Buffy took a moment to gauge Faith's reaction them knowing smiled at
her fellow slayer, "You have a crush on her don't you."

"B can we talk about something else?"

"No we can't you're my friend, and Willow is my friend. If you have
crush on her I should know."

Buffy then stepped closer to Faith and put her hand on the brunettes
shoulder, "Faith I see the way you look at her, it's the same way I
look at Cordelia. You can call me crazy if you want, but I think you
have a thing for a certain redheaded Hacker friend of ours."

Faith took a deep breath, she couldn't believe this was happening,
the cat was finally out of the bag, "B?you're not crazy."

Buffy smiled at her fellow slayer, "Good now what are we gonna do
about getting the two of you together?'

"Nothing, Willow doesn't feel the same way about me," Faith sadly
replied.

"Are you sure?"

Faith looked at Buffy and saw the blonde slayer grinning ear to
ear, "You're up to something B."

"Maybe, maybe not."

"What's that suppose to mean," Faith demanded.

"It means we are not the only ones talking about this subject
tonight, about right now my sweetheart is talking to Willow about
you."

"B, why are you two doing this to me Reds gonna hate me," Faith
screamed.

"Faith listen to me, Willows not going to hate you, in fact I am
pretty sure you both are gonna like the results of these little
talks."

Faith took a step back from Buffy and stared at her a moment as she
tried to decipher what her fellow slayer was up to, "You think she
feels the same way don't you."

"She looks at you the same way you look at her, you're just to
nervous around her to see it."

"Maybe I should ask her out," Faith nervously asked.

"I think so but before we do there is a couple things I need to talk
to you about."

"Like what?'

"For starters her name is Willow, not Red. She does like being
called Wills but I would stay away from Red. That is of course
unless you just want to be buds with her and not date her."

"OK Willow or Wills. Got it what else," Faith inquired, her voice
laces with anticipation as she hung on Buffy's every word.

"Well we both know that Willow is shy, so you're gonna have to tone
it down. I am not saying that you shouldn't be yourself, because you
always should be yourself. You just need to put on the kid gloves
and not be so aggressive when dealing with Willow. You following me
here?"

"I'm following B, what else?"

Back at Giles apartment?

"Willow just admit it you have a thing for Faith," Cordelia stated.

"I, I don't know what to say."

"That's easy we're friends so just tell me the truth. Do you or do
you not have romantic feelings for Faith?"

Willow put on her resolve face and stared right at Cordelia, the ex-
cheerleader stared right back at her, "that's not going to get you
out of this one Wills, now spill."

"OK, I like Faith, you happy now."

"Just like," Cordelia quizzed.

Willow lowered her head, "I think I am falling for her."

Cordelia reached across the table and lifted Willows head up so she
could see the hackers' face, "Now that wasn't so hard was it?"

"Yes it was," stated Willow as she kept on her resolve face, "you got
to promise me you want tell Faith about this."

"OK, but I can't speak for my snuggle bunny."

Willows eyes grew wide, she stood up from her chair and placed her
hands on the table, "You can't tell Buffy either, this has got to be
our secret."

"It's to late for that Wills. Buffy's the one who figured it out,
that's why I am talking to you about this."

"Buffy knows? You don't think she's going to tell Faith do you?"

Cordelia looked at Willow sheepishly; "Actually I know she is. She
is planning on talking with Faith on there patrol tonight about the
two of you.'

Willow felt like she was going to hyperventilate, "I don't understand
why would Buffy want to do this to me."

Cordelia got up from the table and walked over next to Willow. She
put her hand on the redhead's shoulder, "Because she sees how you and
Faith feel about each other and wants you to be as happy as her and I
are."

It took a moment for Cordelia's words to sink in but when they did
Willow's face lit up, "Faith feels the same way I do?"

"Buffy seems to think so and I have learned to trust Buffy's
instinct, she seems to always be right about her feelings."

"Yeah she is," replied Willow, "but what am I going to do now?"

"You don't have to do anything, my snuggle bunny is taking care of
everything for you."

Later that night at the bronze?.

Buffy and Cordelia sat side by side at the both; across from them was
Willow and an unusually quite Faith. Buffy got up from the booth and
extended her hand out to Cordelia, "Care to dance my sweet?"

Cordelia took Buffy's hand and stood up, "I'm always ready to dance
with you."

Buffy wrapped her arm around her girlfriends' waste, gave Faith a
quick wink, and then headed out to the dance floor.

Faith's heart was pounding a mile a minute; she turned to face
Willow. She felt like her whole life was flashing before her eyes,
<Gods I hope B is right about this. >

Faith took a moment to gather her self then reached down and gently
put her hand on top of Willow, she could her the stunning redhead let
out a slight gasp when she did so. Faith nervously looked into
Willows eyes; she could see the same tension and anticipation that
was consuming her in the hackers' eyes.

Faith took a big gulp of air, "Willow, I was wondering?would you
dance with me."

Every second that ticked by that Willow didn't say anything seemed
like eons to Faith, it was like the entire world had been thrown into
slow motion as soon as she had asked Willow to dance, finally she
heard to words she was hoping for.

"Faith I would love to dance with you."

Buffy held Cordelia tightly against her as the two lovers gracefully
moved across the dance floor. The two of them watched in glee as
Faith led Willow out onto the dance floor and took the redheaded
tenderly in her arms. Willow wrapped her arms around the brunette
slayers' waste and rested her head on Faiths shoulder.

Cordelia smiled as she turned back to Buffy and kissed her girlfriend
on the lips.

"Not that I mind but what was that for," Buffy teased.

It's the first of many payments."

"Payments, for what?"

"We had a bet, I owe you a month of kissed," replied Cordelia.

Buffy leaned into her girlfriend and placed a tender kiss on her
lips, "I think this is going to be a very good month."

The End?Hope you enjoyed.
