Tony McD, you've done the impossible.

You actually made me mourn Spike! On the show, he's been pretty pathetic since he got the chip, but your story he seemed to work better. Kind of reminds me of John Constantine from the Vertigo comic book Hellblazer.

Love the latest installment in your story. Action, suspence and emotion, all in equal balance. One earth-threatening crisis down, one to go. Can't wait to see what other surprises you have in store for us. Especially enjoying the weird mix of science and magic you've cooked up.

Oh, you hear about Joss' next project? He's writing a comic book for Dark Horse called Fray. It's set in the Buffyverse, but five hundred years later, in a dystopian future, kind of like Blade Runner. For the first time in hundreds of years, vampires and demons are emerging to threaten the world. The title character, Fray, is a street urchin who is the new Chosen One for her generation. But she doesn't have a Scooby Gang at her back up, and the Watcher's Council is long gone, so she doesn't even have their support. She's going it alone, and she's all that stands between humanity and the Mouth of Hell. The first of nine issues comes out in June in the states, don't know what the schedule is in Australia. Looks to be interesting, and much in keeping with the stories you've been writing. I'll let you know how it turns out.
