You shouldn't sell yourself short like that, the only thing you need is
some time to practice and to give yourself a chance.
Nobody starts out writing fanfic by writing a perfect story, I know mine
are far from being that good but the real trick is to get past your own
critiques and keep working on it.
You should really keep trying a good start would be to find some way to
run your work through some kind of spell check program. From what I've
seen you have the right idea for a story you just need to keep going.
Have you tried writing your story out long hand then put it into the
'puter. That's how a lot of us do it.
