spoilers: too many episodes to name from different shows to name all 
the episodes even if i did know all the episodes by name which i dont 
disclaimers: Joss Whedon and Mutant Enemy own the rights to Buffy and 
the characters from that show.I believe they also own the rights to 
Angel since offshoot of Buffy.I dont know the name,names,or company 
to who owns the right to the Highlander show and its characters.Sam 
Raimi owns the rights to Xena and the characters from that show.I am 
not stealing from them i am just using the characters and the 
storylines from those shows in a fanfic story.it is not to be posted 
or distributed anywhere without my knowledge and the complete 
authorization of the owners of those three shows.

Cassandra said before you leave i have something to give each of 
you.Cassandra stood up and she said please follow me and then she 
walked out of the living room.Buffy and willow got up and followed 
her into another medium size room.Cassandra walked over to a cabinet 
and she pulled out two boxes.One box was narrow and about a foot and 
a half long the other box was about six inches long and about five 
inches high.Cassandra walked over to them and she held the long 
narrow box out to buffy and the other box to willow.Cassandra said 
buffy your box contains a sash that the warriors of my people wore 
and two knives that are made of silver and the sheaths for the knives 
are sewn into the sash.Buffy thanked Cassandra and then Cassandra 
turned to Willow.Cassandra said Willow your box contains a 
wristgauntlet and several runestones which have the wiccan runes for 
the elements of nature carved in them.Willow was shocked by this 
because she had read of such wristgauntlets but have never expected 
to see own much less have one.Willow said are you sure you want to 
give this to me its priceless.Cassandra said willow i am not a wiccan 
but you are and the wristgauntlet deserves to be in the hands of a 
wiccan such as yourself.Willow thanked Cassandra and then Buffy said 
come on willow we have to be going.Cassandra said wait let me call a 
cab for you.Willow said that isnt neccessary Cassandra we only live a 
couple blocks away from here and anyway all the cab companies close 
down at sundown as do the city busses.Cassandra said ok but before 
you go please equip yourselves with the gifts i gave you.Buffy said 
ok and then she opened up the box and put the sash on.As Buffy was 
putting on the sash Willow put on the wristgauntlet and then opened a 
small leather pouch that contained the runestones.Cassandra saw this 
and said willow you can only attach the runestones for the wiccan 
elements of nature chants you have mastered.Willow said oh i know i 
read that in one of the old books Giles has and so far i have 
mastered the chants for fire,water,and earth.Buffy said dont forget 
about wind you have suceeded at doing that chant twice.Willow said 
Buffy a wiccan must succeed three times at doing the chants for the 
elements of nature before she can say that she has mastered 
them.Cassandra was shocked at Willow's words and she turned willow to 
face her.Cassandra said willow where exactly are you getting your 
information on wiccan rituals and traditions.Willow said well i have 
a couple books on wiccan rituals and stuff that i got from a couple 
of the magic shops but most of what i know i read in books from 
Giles's library because most of what is in the books i got from the 
the magic shops is either missing key things or are just plain 
wrong.Buffy said Cassandra is there something wrong and Cassandra 
said no i was just surprised that willow was following the traditions 
of the original wiccans and not the ones that are used in present 
day.Willow said is it okay for me to use the traditions of the old 
wiccans Cassandra.Cassandra said of course it is.Cassandra said 
willow give me the three runestones for fire,water,and earth.Willow 
handed Cassandra the three runestones and then one at a time 
Cassandra put them on the wristgauntlet.Cassandra said the runestones 
are now attached to the wristgauntlet willow and willow thanked her 
again.Willow and buffy said goodbye to Cassandra and walked away from 
Cassandra's house.After Cassandra shut and locked the front door 
Cassandra said i am going to have to take a look at what books 
Buffy's watcher has in his 
collection. 

Halfway across town near Weatherly Park Angel,Cordelia,and Gunn 
were standing around Willow's royal blue camary which had been pushed 
onto the side of the road along with the other cars that were 
involved in the accident.Cordelia was in Angel's arms crying her eyes 
out and Angel was crying as well.Gunn said guys i know that you are 
both grieving for the death of your friend but we really need to be 
getting back in the car and heading over to where Buffy and the 
others live.Angel looked over at Gunn while blood red tears ran down 
his face and he nodded his head.Angel wiped the blood tears from his 
face and he started guiding Cordelia over to the car.Angel helped 
Cordelia get into the backseat and then he asked Gunn to get in the 
back with her and comfort her.Gunn said why dont you get in the 
backseat with her and let me drive.Angel looked at Gunn and said 
because i have the address and you dont know your way around 
Sunnydale.Gunn said good point and then he climbed into the 
backseat.Gunn pulled Cordelia over to him and he held her as she 
continued to cry.a few minutes later Cordelia raised up and she said 
damn these visions i thought we were supposed to stop them from 
happening.Gunn said we are supposed to cordelia but we cant stop all 
of them from happening we arent gods or anything.Cordelia said but we 
got here as fast as we could after i had the vision we should have 
been able to stop it.Angel looked into the rearview mirror and he 
said cordelia i dont think we were supposed to have stopped it but 
just have known that it happened.Cordelia said come on Angel you know 
the powers that be send the visions to me so that we can keep them 
from happening.Gunn said she's right Angel thats always how its 
worked in the past.Angel said i know but if what my senses told me 
back at the accident is true it happened somewhere about nine o'clock 
which is about the same time cordelia had the vision.Cordelia looked 
at Angel and said are you sure about what your senses told you.Angel 
said yes i am pretty sure and then Cordelia screamed and then cursed 
at the powers that be for not letting them stop Willow from 
dying. 

A few minutes later Buffy and Willow were approaching the 
subdivison that they and the others lived in when they saw a car 
approaching.Willow looked at the car and she said hey Buffy that car 
looks a lot like the one Angel has.Buffy looked at the car and she 
said thats because it is Angel's car and then she said i wonder why 
he came back to sunnydale this time.Willow said well lets ask him and 
she started waving her arms.Angel was looking for the street signs 
trying to find a certain street because it had been a long time since 
he had been in this area of sunnydale and he was looking so hard that 
he drove right past willow and buffy.Cordelia who had been looking 
out a side window did see them however.Cordelia thought she had 
imagined seeing willow with buffy so she looked out the back 
window.The next second Cordelia yelled Angel stop the car and Angel 
automatically slammed on the brakes.Before Angel or Gunn could ask 
cordelia why she yelled for him to stop the car Cordelia had jumped 
out of the car and was running toward willow and 
buffy. 

When Angel drove past them Buffy looked at Willow and said i guess 
that they are in a hurry and couldnt stop to talk and Willow nodded 
in agreement.Eight seconds later they both heard the screech of a 
car's brakes being applied suddenly.Willow and Buffy looked around 
and saw Angel's car stop and cordelia quickly jump out of the car and 
run toward them.Gunn looked at Angel and said whats up with her and 
Angel said i dont know but we had better go find out.Gunn and Angel 
were just getting out of the car when cordelia reached Buffy and 
willow and she knocked willow to the ground trying to put her arms 
around her and give her a hug.When Angel and Gunn looked in the 
direction cordelia had gone they saw Buffy and that Cordelia was on 
top of someone who she had knocked to the ground.Angel thought it 
must be xander and he and Gunn started walking over to where buffy 
and the others were.As Angel and Gunn were about ten feet away from 
buffy and the others Angel heard a voice he never thought he would 
hear again say something that was positively 
Willowtalk. 

After having Cordelia on top of her for about thirty seconds 
Willow said Cordelia oxygen is becoming a problem now.Cordelia looked 
into willow's face and said too doggone bad but then she got up and 
pulled willow up with her.Cordelia was starting to look over Willow 
when Angel pushed her out of the way.Angel grabbed willow and picked 
her up off the ground and spun her around happy to see that she was 
alive.Gunn walked over to buffy and cordelia wondering why cordelia 
and Angel were so happy after finding out that a friend of their's 
had died. After being spun around several times Willow said angel put 
me down right now.Angel reluctantly put willow down and then said 
little one i thought you were dead.Gunn was shocked at hearing 
Angel's words and he turned to Cordelia and said Cordelia is she 
willow.Cordelia said yes she is and then she turned to Willow and 
said willow you have a whole hell of a lot of explaining to do and it 
better be 
good. 

Willow looked at Cordelia and said what are you talking about 
cordelia.Cordelia said i am talking about the fact that you are 
walking around alive after i had a vision in which you died in a car 
accident and we just came from the scene of the accident where we saw 
your car.Willow looked over at Buffy and Buffy said dont look at me 
its your story to tell.Willow said uh huh it our story to tell you 
forget your a part of it 
too. 
Buffy said guys me and willow are quite tired and neither of us 
feel like going through an explaination twice so how about you give 
us a lift home and we will tell you,giles,and the others all at one 
time.Cordelia said ok and she started leading willow and buffy over 
to the car and Angel and Gunn followed them.
