spoilers: too many episodes to name from different shows 
disclaimers: Joss Whedon and Mutant Enemy own rights to Buffy the 
vampire slayer characters.I believe that Joss Whedon and Mutant Enemy 
also own the rights to Angel since its an offshoot of Buffy.I do not 
know at this time the name,names,or company who owns the rights to 
Highlander and the characters from that show.Sam Raimi owns the right 
to xena and the characters from it.I am not stealing the characters 
or storylines from any of those shows i am just using them in a 
fanfic story.The story is not to be posted or distributed anywhere 
without my knowledge and the complete authorization of the owners of 
those three shows.

As Cordelia,Angel,Gunn,Buffy,and Willow were walking over to 
Angel's car Willow asked Cordelia where Wesley and Faith were.Buffy 
said they probably couldnt get a hold of them after Cordelia had the 
vision of your accident so they left them.Cordelia said actually they 
dont work with us anymore.Willow said what do you mean.Angel said a 
couple weeks ago Wesley received an offer to come to work for 
somebody and he accepted after me and him had an arguement about how 
to handle a situation that we were facing and he took Faith with 
him.Buffy said what kind of company could he and Faith go to work 
for.Gunn said they didnt go to work for a company they joined some 
group called the Legacy.Cordelia looked at Gunn and said how do you 
know that.Gunn said i know because a couple days after he and Faith 
left Wesley approached me and tried to talk me into joining the 
Legacy as well but i 
refused. 

A few minutes later Buffy told Angel to turn left at the next 
street.Angel started to turn left at the next street but stopped when 
he saw that it was a dirt road.Angel looked back at Buffy and said 
Buffy its a dirt road.Willow said Angel the dirt road is only 
camoflauge it ends around the corner where a regular paved driveway 
starts.Angel,Cordelia,and Gunn all looked at Buffy and 
Willow.Cordelia said what are you talking about willow.Buffy said 
after the initative left sunnydale we found out about the estate 
where Colonel MacNamara,along with the Initative's scientists,and two 
of Initative's special strike teams that were kept in reserve 
lived.Cordelia said you all moved in after they left.Gunn said arent 
you worried that the initative might come back to sunnydale and if 
they do i dont think they will be happy to find you living 
there.Willow said we dont have to worry about that you see i bought 
the estate from the goverment after they left.Angel said willow how 
could you afford to buy an estate.Willow said about seven years ago i 
sold some computer programs and invested most of the money into 
stocks.Angel said you sold some of the stocks to buy the estate and 
willow said yes but only a few shares.Angel pushed on the gas pedal 
and started driving down the dirt road.After reaching the paved 
driveway Angel kept driving but he looked in the rearview mirror a 
minute later and said buffy how far is it to the house.Buffy said its 
about another quarter of a mile to the estate's front gate and the 
house is two hundred yards beyond it.Cordelia said willow do you own 
just the land that the estate is on or from the dirt road on 
back.Willow said i own everything from the dirt road on back for 
almost a mile and half a mile on either side of the gate thats around 
the estate.Gunn said thats a lot of land it must have cost you at 
least two million dollars.Willow said actually i bought it for seven 
hundred and fifty thousand dollars.Buffy said Sunnydale isnt really 
considered a prime real estate area by the real estate agencies so 
property is quite cheap around here and Willow got quite a deal by 
buying it from the goverment who no longer had any use for it.A 
minute later they reached the front gate which was shut.Angel rolled 
down the window and asked Buffy what the access code was.Willow said 
there is no access code that consol is mostly for show.Buffy pulled a 
laser pointer out of the pack she carried her cellular phone and keys 
also in.Buffy pointed the laser pointer at the lens of what looked 
like a security camera that was on top of the consol.Buffy looked at 
willow and said whats the code for this week again.Willow said 2169 
and then Buffy started clicking the code in but she made a break 
between every set of numbers in the code.Gunn looked at Buffy and 
said i have never seen anything like that.Buffy said well thats 
because Willow and Xander designed and built it as part of the 
estate's security system.Angel said has it got that bad in Sunnydale 
that you need to have a security system around the estate.Cordelia 
said hey you should have called us for help if it was getting that 
bad.Willow said Angel Cordelia sunnydale hasnt got any worse than 
ussual but me and the others decided that since we were living at the 
estate we should take some precautions to make sure it was safe when 
Buffy and some of us werent there.Gunn said i would do the same thing 
in their shoes but i wouldnt just stop with security cameras and 
other security devices i would install some weapons and stuff in 
strategic places so you could defend it if you ever came under attack 
here.Buffy looked at Willow and said we have got to keep Gunn and 
Xander apart as much as possible.Cordelia looked at buffy and willow 
and said why.Willow said because ever since we have moved here 
soldier boy has been trying to talk us into getting some firepower 
for the estate.Gunn said there is nothing wrong with having a little 
firepower so you can defend your home.Cordelia said Gunn you dont 
know Xander and knowing him as like i do i know that he wouldnt be 
satisfied with just a little firepower.Angel said thats for sure and 
remeber what he got for Buffy so she could take out the judge.Willow 
said we dont need anything like that but if we ever do we know who to 
send out to get it.Gunn looked at them and he said what did Xander 
get for buffy to take out a judge and why would buffy want to take 
out a judge.Angel said the judge was the name of a demon that couldnt 
be hurt by anything made by man who could set people unfire by just 
pointing at them.Gunn looked at Buffy and said what did he get so you 
could take out the judge.Buffy said he got a portable rocket launcher 
and several heatseeking armor piercing rockets that were made by 
machines from the national guard armory outside of town.Gunn said get 
out of here thinking that they were pulling his leg but he realized 
they werent when he had looked at all of their faces.Gunn said damn 
this Xander fellow is more into firepower than i am and Cordelia said 
and thats saying something.Two minutes later they reached the house 
and Cordelia said you guys werent kidding when you said it was an 
estate.They all got out of the car and walked up to the front door 
where Buffy rang the doorbell.Cordelia said Buffy its a few minutes 
after one in the morning why did you ring the doorbell instead of 
just using your keys.Willow said Cordelia there is a security device 
in the front foyer that has to be overriden by someone on the other 
side of the foyer if we are bring people in with us.Gunn said what 
kind of security device is it.Buffy said two airtight doors will seal 
us in the foyer.Angel said isnt that a little bit much and Willow 
said hey we didnt install it its one of the security things that the 
initative had built into the house when it was being 
constructed.Buffy said but me and the others decided to keep it the 
airtight doors online but we unhooked all the gas canisters that were 
supposed to spray gas into the foyer if someone or group got inside 
the house without authorization.A minute later Amy appeared walking 
down the main stairway and she walked over to the other side of the 
front foyer.Amy looked at a video monitor that was hooked up to a 
video camera right over the front door.Amy recognized Angel and 
Cordelia who were with Buffy and Willow and she pressed a button to 
switch off the foyer's security device for a minute and a half.The 
moment Buffy heard a buzzer beep she quickly opened the door and she 
said everyone get to the other side of the foyer 
quickly.Angel,Cordelia,and Gunn ran for the other side of the foyer 
and willow and buffy followed them but not before sliding their ID 
cards into and id card reader and saying their names into a voice 
device.As Cordelia,Angel,and Gunn exited the foyer Amy said hello to 
Cordelia and Angel and Angel introduced her and Gunn to each 
other.When Buffy and Willow walked out of the foyer Buffy asked Amy 
where Giles was.Amy said Giles and the others are in the conference 
room upstairs going through the boxes that the police brought to the 
magic box earlier today.Angel said why would the police take boxes of 
stuff to the magic box.Amy said a couple days ago a janitor at town 
hall accidentally found a hidden room full of books and other items 
and he reported it to the police and the police took it to the magic 
shop because they think it all belonged to mayor Wilkins.Cordelia 
said that explains it but Gunn didnt understand and he said what does 
it matter if the stuff belonged to mayor Wilkins shouldnt the police 
have taken the stuff to him or his family and not the magic box.Angel 
said Gunn mayor Wilkins turned himself into a large demon when he 
Ascended at Buffy and the others high school graduation cerimony.Gunn 
said so this mayor Wilkins wasnt good and Amy said thats putting it 
mildly according to what i was told by Buffy and the others after i 
got changed back from a rat.Cordelia said when did that happen by the 
way Amy.Amy said it happened a few months before the initative left 
when Giles and Willow used a spell from a spellbook that they found 
in one of the old magic stores at the west end of town.
