Poem: Buffy In A Battlesuit

She's a high school kid in a halter top and jeans
Who saved the world from demons that were acting really mean.
She's very patriotic but she isn't very bright
So Giles put her in a battle-mech and sent her off to fight.

Now she's Buffy in a battlesuit,
A mecha in high heels!
She's got flight thrusters, guass guns, strobe mini-mines,
Ground to air missiles of every different kind...

Willow saw her sexy chassis and thought it kinda cute,
So Buffy wanted to impress her in this gleaming battlesuit.
For red metallic thigh boots cannot fail to catch the eye -
(It's not easy to be subtle when you're fifty-five feet high!)

She's Buffy in a battlesuit,
A mecha in high heels!
She's got flight thrusters, guass guns, strobe mini-mines,
Ground to air missiles of every different kind...

She's got a bio-implant holographic heads-up 3D display
But her heat seeking missiles have got slightly better brains.
The Earth was being overrun with hellhounds on the streets
Defences had been shattered and the planet faced defeat.

They said it was a long shot but they guessed it might just work:
Send out the RoboSlayer and let her make like Captain Kirk!

No more video tie-ins, no more plastic dolls...
No more soundtrack albums to sing her theme tune songs...
One might stop to wonder, with the Earth now blown to bits,
Who'd hand out such a weapon to a girl whose brain is smaller than 
her...

Buffy in a battlesuit,
A mecha in high heels!
She's got flight thrusters, guass guns, strobe mini-mines,
Ground to air missiles of every different kind...

A phased plasma rifle in the fifty kilowatt range,
Mini-nuke grenades that can remove those difficult stains;
A missile rack, a nova beam, a thermo-plasmic blade;
Her endo-steel chassis was especially custom made...

And with the ultimate weapon she tried to do her duty...
But she's so very, very, very, very, very, very stupid!
