Buffy and Angel and the characters and storylines from them.I do not 
know the name,names,or company who owns the rights to Highlander and 
Highlander the raven.Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert own the rights to xena 
and its characters and storylines.I am not stealing from them i am 
just using the characters and storylines in a fanfic story along with 
some characters i am creating on my own.This story is not to be 
posted or distributed anywhere without my knowledge or the complete 
authorization of the owners of those shows.

While Giles was writing the note that Gunn was to give Wesley and 
Cassandra,Joyce,and Willow were in the conference room Cordelia and 
Anya were down in the game room that had a pool table among other 
things.Anya was telling Cordelia about what had happened earlier in 
the evening when Willow and Buffy let the others know that they were 
a couple.Cordelia wasnt too shocked by the news about what Xander had 
said because she knew him pretty well and had expected some of 
it.Cordelia said i hope you set him straight and Anya said i most 
certainly did my best but I'm going to wait a while and see what he 
decides.Cordelia said well if you need any help let me know i will do 
anything i can.Anya said thanks Cordelia but i dont know your phone 
number.Cordelia took one of the bussiness cards for Angel's detective 
agency and she wrote her phone number down on the back of the card 
and then handed it to Anya.Cordelia said call me anytime day or night 
and Anya said i will if i need to and thanks.The next second Xander 
and Gunn walked into the game room and Xander said see what did i 
tell you Gunn they are both conspiring against me.Anya looked at 
Cordelia and then started walking toward Xander and Gunn and Cordelia 
was right behind her.When they got within a few feet of them Anya 
said what was that i heard about you acusing us of conspiring against 
you.Xander said its true your conspiring on how to best to control me 
and i dont like it one damn bit.Anya said Xander we arent conspiring 
against you at all we were just talking about a few things.Cordelia 
said yeah and it wouldnt even matter if we were conspiring against 
you and you didnt like it.The next second Anya was close enough and 
she reached out and slapped Xander on the back of the head.When 
Xander looked at Anya he said if you starting to slap me on the back 
of the head just like Cordelia didwhen we were dating isnt conspiring 
against me than what is it.The next second Xander was slapped on the 
back of the head again but this time it was Cordelia who did 
it.Cordelia said dont you dare talk to Anya like that she is your 
girlfriend and she deserves better but i will answer your 
question.Cordelia said we are not conspiring against you we are just 
sharing information and its perfectly normal for women to share 
information on how to control certain men and then she slapped Xander 
again on the back of the head.Anya said Cordelia has just been 
helping me out to readjust to being human again and i consider her a 
good friend and we will be talking regularly so you just had better 
get used to it.Anya slapped Xander once more for good measure and 
then she walked out of the game room and started following Cordelia 
toward the kitchen.After Cordelia and Anya had left Gunn looked at 
Xander and he said damn, man am i damn glad that i arent in your 
shoes and then he walked out of the game 
room. 

When the letter for Wesley was written Giles gave it to Gunn and 
then headed back up to the conference room.Angel called out to 
Cordelia telling her it was time to go and Cordelia got up off the 
sofa.Cordelia,Gunn,and Angel said goodbye to the ones who were there 
to see them off and then they got in Angel's car and headed toward 
Los 
Angeles. 

Back in Los Angeles at the law firm of Wolfram and hart the meeting 
was still continuing.One of the board directors Crayton Smythe asked 
how Darla and Ethan how they planned to get the items out of the 
hands of the slayer and her group.Ethan said well we dont have a plan 
made up completely and we are going to wait until we do have a good 
plan before we do anything.Lindsey said why dont we just launch a 
surprise attack on there home and take the stuff.Darla said thats a 
damn suicidal plan and your just plain stupid to even suggest 
it.Crayton Smythe said why is it a suicidal plan it has worked for us 
in the past.Mr.Sygasso said yes it has but the people we launched the 
attack against werent the slayer and her group and we knew that they 
would be wiped out easily and that cannot be said about the slayer 
and her group.Ethan said what you do not understand is that the 
slayer's group is more formidable than most of you think and 
according to a source of information which we are going to keep 
disclosed to ourselves has told us that the group is living together 
in what can be considered an almost impregnable fortress.Lindsey said 
fortresses can easily be broken into if you use the right type of 
troops and we have all the troops we could ever need at our 
fingertips.Ethan said its just not the fortress itself that stops us 
from launching an all out attack its the mystic barriers and other 
things that they might have placed around where they live.Darla said 
also the place they live in was designed by the goverment and set up 
with all kind of defenses and security measures.Brattick said if the 
goverment built it we should be able to use our contacts in the 
goverment to get the plans for the building and its security 
systems.Jamos Kilrokan said we already tried that sir but none of our 
contacts in the goverment could find anything about the estate or who 
built it.Lindsey said so what can we do.Mr.Sygasso said we are going 
to wait a while until we get a good chance at getting our hands on 
the items since that is our main priority.Lindsey said what about the 
slayer and her group.Darla said after we have the items we can pick 
them off at our leisure and there will be hardly anything they can do 
to stop us.Mr.Sygasso said i want you to gather a large force and 
keep them nearby so that we can move quickly when the time is 
right.Lindsey said do you want us to start moving them into Sunnydale 
so they will be there ready and waiting for our word to strike.Ethan 
hissed out a bloody hell no yell and he said keep them the hell away 
from sunnydale or the slayer and her group will know that something 
is up.Crayton said what do you mean by that.Darla said we vampires 
like to eat every night and if the number of dead bodies or missing 
person suddenly increases the slayer and her group will be on the 
alert which will make the job of getting our hands on the items that 
much harder.Mr.Sygasso said Ethan and Darla are quite correct so keep 
the vampires away from Sunnydale but i do want you to move them out 
of Los Angeles because if we keep them here than Angel might find out 
about what we are planning from one of the vampires and alert the 
slayer and her 
friends. 

Oz drove Cassandra home and Xander went along to provide 
backup.When they got to Cassandra's house Cassandra walked up to the 
front door and went inside before Oz headed back toward the 
estate.Down the street in dark colored car someone who had followed 
Oz's van since it left the estate wondered who the woman who had got 
out of the van was but then he put the car into drive and started 
following the van again.Xander who had moved into the front passenger 
seat after Cassandra had out got was looking in the sideview mirror 
and he spotted the dark colored car that was following them with its 
lights out.Xander said hey Oz i think we got a tail back behind us.Oz 
looked into the rearview mirror and he said i dont see any car.Xander 
said keep watching it has its lights out if they are working.Oz said 
take the wheel Xander i am going into the back and take a better 
look.Xander did as he said and he slid into the driver's seat after 
Oz vacated it.Oz walked to the back of the van and he closed his eyes 
and focused like he had been taught by one of the elder of the garou 
clan he had been adopted into when veruca's family who were all garou 
found out what she was up to and came to get her which was when he 
had met them.When Oz opened his eyes they had a silver glow to them 
and he looked out the back window.Oz quickly saw the dark colored car 
but he couldnt really see what color it was because it was so dark 
and there were no lights on this street that were working which was 
usual since vampires broke street lights around where they were 
hunting so no one who was walking around could see them until it was 
too late.Oz saw that the car's front windshield was either tinted so 
dark that he couldnt see who was inside it or there was paint on the 
winshield which would mean that whoever it was driving the car didnt 
want them to see who he,she,or what it looked like.Oz said hey Xander 
step on the gas and get us back home quick because we are being 
followed and whoever or whatever it is doesnt want us to get a good 
look at 
it. 

Four minutes later they pulled up to the gate and Xander used the 
laser pointer to click out the access code.When they got up to the 
house Xander and Oz covered each other's back as they made there way 
to the front door and didnt stop until they were in the foyer and the 
door was shut behind 
them. 

Once out of the foyer they went to the living room and they saw 
Giles and Joyce watching something on the history channel.Oz said 
Giles i am afraid we might have some trouble.Giles looked at Oz and 
he said what do you mean.Xander said we noticed that somebody was 
following us after we dropped Cassandra off at her house.Giles said 
are you sure that someone was following you and not just going in the 
same direction as you.Oz said Giles when Xander told me about him 
seeing a car following us with its lights off we switched places and 
i went into the back of the van and looked at it with my 
wolfsight.Joyce said do you think it was following you and Oz said 
yes i do because either the front windshield was tinted to darkly for 
me to see or it was sprayed with dark paint on the outside of the 
hood.Giles said the only reason someone would do that was to keep 
their identity secret or keep out sunlight.Joyce said Giles we should 
call Cassandra and make sure she is ok because if it was a vampire or 
something in the car it might go after her since they dropped her 
off.Giles said i will go call her but first i need to know if either 
of you can tell me what kind of car it was.Oz said it looked like one 
of those big cadillac cars and it was a dark colored car but i cant 
say what color it was.Giles walked over to the nearest phone and he 
called Cassandra and told her about the car that had been following 
the van.Cassandra assured Giles that her house had more than enough 
mystic barriers around it to stop almost anything and if they didnt 
and she didnt think she could fight it off she would come to the 
estate.
