Gunn and Oz walked back over to where Cordelia and Giles were and 
they were scanning the area for any sign of people being around.When 
they got over to Giles and Cordelia Gunn said go ahead and signal 
them to go.Giles turned to face Buffy,Willow,and Xander who were 
sitting on their motorcycles right next to the montana and he gave 
them the signal to begin.Buffy and the others started up their 
motorcycles and then took positions around the montana as they and 
the ones in the montana went to do a more thurough search of the 
area. 

When the moving van and the montana had been coming up the road 
that led to the buildings Davis and Eric had their men hide so they 
wouldnt be seen.When Eric saw the three motorcycles come down out of 
the back of the moving van he immedietly ordered some of his men that 
were the closest to the vechicles they had driven to the meeting 
place to get in them and drive them a mile down the road that they 
had to turn off of to get there and then get back as soon as 
possible.The four blazers were just appearing from behind the 
warehouse when Giles gave Buffy and the others the 
signal. 

Gunn watched the four blazers disappear down the road and he turned 
to Giles and said i wonder what they were doing behind the 
warehouse.Giles said they were probably picking up some fruit from 
the back of the warehouse.Gunn nodded but he didnt really believe 
it. 

Buffy,Willow,Xander,and the ones in the montana started riding on 
the road that went around the grove and the buildings.A minute and a 
half later Joyce honked the horn once and Buffy swirved off and rode 
into the trees.Joyce honked the horn twice more at different 
locations on the road.Xander swirved off on the second honk and 
Willow did the same on the third while Joyce and the others continued 
on down the road.One of the men who was the deepest one in the grove 
heard the sound of a motorcycle approaching from behind him and he 
alerted the rest of the two squads before climbing up into a tree.A 
few seconds later Buffy rode near the tree that the man was in and 
she kept going on her 
patrol. 

Davis told everyone to climb into nearby trees and hide and they all 
did 
so. 

Joyce and the others in the montana returned about twenty minutes 
aftr it had left and Joyce told Giles that they had seen no one.Giles 
said well you guys might not but lets wait and find out what Buffy 
and the others have to say.About fifteen minutes later 
Buffy,Willow,and Xander rode up together after they had crisscrossed 
the grove several times and had seen each other at least three 
times.Giles walked up to them and he said did you guys see anything 
and they all shook their heads no.Willow looked down at the ground 
and she said we might not have seen anything but there are people 
around us.Giles said how can you be sure and Buffy said while we were 
riding around each of us felt like we were being watched at different 
places and we discussed it over our helmet radios and we each checked 
the places the others had felt watched at.Giles pulled out his 
cellular phone and he dailed the number for the Luna house that Gunn 
had told him earlier.When Charles answered the phone Giles said let 
me speak to Wesley its important.A minute later Wesley pressed the 
button on the conference speaker and he said i am here Giles.Giles 
said Wesley do you and your new associates have anyone thats already 
at the meeting site.Derek started signaling to Wesley to say no but 
Wesley followed his own judgement and said why do you ask.Giles said 
because Buffy,Willow,and Xander just told me they felt as if they 
were being watched while they were crisscrossing the grove on 
motorcycles.Derek said Mr.Giles this is Derek Raynes and me and my 
associates are still in San Francisco but we will be arriving at the 
meeting place in about two hours.Giles said well i'm sorry i bothered 
you i just wanted to make sure that whoever is out here wasnt with 
you before we took them out and then he hung up the 
phone. 

Giles whistled a certain bird call and 
Gunn,Oz,Cordelia,Joyce,Amy,Tara,and Anya ran over to where 
Giles,Buffy,Willow,and Xander were.Giles said i just called Wesley 
and was told that whoever is out in the grove isnt with the Legacy so 
we have to take them out before the meeting.Gunn said you mean kill 
whoever is out there.Giles said no i dont mean that and i dont think 
we will even have to hurt anyone just give them the idea that we 
will.Joyce said what gives you that idea and Giles said because 
Wesley never told me that the guys werent with Legacy it was someone 
else.Gunn said so you think these guys might be with Legacy and Giles 
said yes i do and if i were in their shoes i would also send some 
people to the meeting place early to recon the area.Gunn said well if 
we are going to scare whoever it is out there we are going to need 
the big guns.Giles said quite true and then they all headed for the 
moving van because most of the big guns were in 
it. 

Back at the Luna house Nick said Wesley what do you think he meant 
when he said about taking the guys out.Faith looked at Nick and said 
Giles doesnt say what he doesnt mean and i think what he said is 
quite easy to understand.Kat said he wouldnt just take them out and 
Wesley said he would if he considers them a potential enemy.Frederick 
said Wesley call him back and tell him that they are with us.Derek 
said we cant do that and Frederick said sir you may be in charge of 
this House but those men are not assigned here and i wont allow you 
to risk their lives 
unnecessarily. 

Giles tapped on the back of the moving van and counted to twenty 
giving Angel enought time to get inside the van and under the 
blankets before opening it.Once the door was open Gunn,Oz,and Giles 
climbed into the truck.Gunn quickly picked up one of the m-60s that 
had an ammo belt already in place and handed it down to Buffy.Giles 
got an m-16/m-203 combo for himself and then passed down two steyr 
augs and a 519 weatherby sniping rifle for Willow.Oz passed out uzis 
as backup weapons for Joyce,Amy,Tara,and Anya who already had the 
combat shotguns.Gunn got one of the jackhammers and m-16/m-203 combos 
for himself before climbing out of the back of the moving van.Giles 
and Oz climbed down behind him and Xander started to shut the door 
when Giles's cellular phone started 
ringing. 

Up in one of the trees at the very edge of the grove Davis was 
watching what Buffy and the others were doing with binoculars.Davis 
looked down at the berretta 92s and nambu 9mm pistols which were the 
only guns he and the three squads had brought with them from London 
and he was disgusted that he and his men were outclassed in 
firepower.Grady his squads communication man said sir dont you think 
we should report this back to the others at the Luna house.Davis 
looked at Grady and he said yes we should so go ahead and contact 
them.A minute later Grady said sir and he held out a satelite phone's 
headset.Davis put on the headset and he said sir a situation has 
arisen and i dont exactly like it.Frederick said Davis i want you and 
the others to pull back the people we are meeting with know that 
someone is in the grove and they are planning on taking them out if 
they can and we dont want that.Davis said sir is it possible that you 
have whoever knows them contact them and tell them that we are part 
of your group.Frederick said i have already tried to arrange that but 
Derek Raynes wont allow it so you guys will just have to pull 
back.Davis said sir there is no safe place for us to pull back to 
they have the superiority in firepower and mobility since i had to 
have our vechicles moved a mile away from the meeting place to divert 
their attention.Nick said what kind of firepower could they possibly 
have thats supperior to your berretta 92S submachine guns and nambu 
9mm pistols.Davis said one m-60,2 m-16/m-203 combos,a 12 gauge 
jackhammer,3 steyr aug rifles,several uzis,several combat 
shotguns,and a 519 weatherby sniping rifle not mentioning the kevlar 
armored longcoats they are all wearing.Faith whistled and she said 
they must have added heavy firepower to their arsenal since the last 
time i saw them.Nick said i am going to get Wesley and have him call 
his friend and tell him they are with us.Faith said you dont have to 
go find Wesley i know the number and i will gladly tell them.Faith 
walked over to the phone and she dialed the number for Giles's 
cellular phone.When Giles answered the phone Faith said hey Giles its 
me and i have something to tell you.Giles smiled and he said let me 
guess the people who are out in the grove are with your group 
right.Faith looked at the phone and she said how did you guess and 
Giles said i didnt guess Faith i thought that they might be with you 
guys when Wesley refused to say that they werent with your group.The 
next second Frederick whispered into Faith's ear ask him not to go 
after the men they are there just to learn the area and protect the 
items.Faith told Giles this and Giles said tell whoever is with you 
not to worry we were just setting up a bluff hoping that one of you 
would call back and tell us not to go aftr them.Faith said damn G-man 
you are definitely loosened up since the last time i saw you and you 
are definitely getting sneaky.Giles said Faith if the men in the 
grove are to protect the items why dont you see if you can get them 
to come over to us and help protect the items.Faith said i will see 
what i can do and then she hung up the phone.When Frederick heard 
Giles's suggestion he thought it was a good one so he contacted Davis 
and Eric and asked what they thought.Davis who was watching them put 
some of the guns back into the moving van said he thought it was a 
good idea.Eric on the other hand thought that they should stay among 
the trees.Frederick said Eric you are going to have to move out of 
the trees before sundown because there is no telling from what 
direction the vampires will attack and i dont want any of us to lose 
anyone on this mission.Eric said thats a good point but I'm still not 
sure.Davis said Eric think about this if there is an attack where 
would you rather be with them over at the trucks or out here among 
the trees where you can be picked off by the vampires or be shot if 
one of them thinks you are a vampire.
