OT: Yet Another Challenge

Greetings,
So I recently posted the latest Forge and am working on the next one.
Forge-Steel

But between then and now..or is that now and then?.. I recently 
recieved the entire First Season of BtVS which I enjoyed immensly for 
much needed escapeism. I COULD actually watch Angel now as they're 
showing it on Hungarian television. I could just print the scripts and 
read along...but that's beside the point.

SO..
I'm watching WTThe Hellmouth/Harvest and I meet Jesse.
For a childhood friend that meets an untimly demise, Willow and Xander 
handled it pretty well. Xander kicks a recycle bin and moves on.
Which leads me to the challenge.(I've waffled enough.)

What if Jesse had not been turned? Okay, that's too basic so I'm going 
to throw in a few ..stipulations.

Firstly: He wasn't turned but he WAS terrified out of his bleedin' 
little mind. And this..this is the point.

He's been so terrified by this ordeal that he doesn't want to be 
around Buffy. Any reminder of his trauma is bad. He basicaly hates 
her, doesn't know why really 'cause he's not that bright but he 
doesn't want his friends hanging out with her. 

Who goes along with him? Who sticks with Buffy? A Schism is created 
before the Scoobies even start. My own thought would run along the 
lines of Xander goes with Jesse(RELUCTANTLY) and Willow sticks with 
Buffy(Easier to bring in the Buffy/Willow factor that way.)

Maybe it's not out and out cruelty being displayed but the close order 
of friends that Buffy has in the canon is now a few memeber short and 
she has to deal with possible 'normal' social complications of Jesse. 
Who knows maybe by 'Dissing' Buffy he suddenly becomes 'popular' so 
there's a whole Jessie/Cordelia thing going. More like an alliance of 
convience than an actual relationship though.

How to work the Willow/Buffy angle? Well..without Xander around, and 
maybe he gets pretty bad, pretty fast, (Think 'The Pack' mentality) 
she loses her crush at warp speed. Course there would be resiudule 
blame she'd put on Buffy for complicating her pretty complex free 
world.(Everybody hates me, cept for Xander and Jesse)

What would this do?

Write.

Again, I WOULD..but..I'm busy. Neener, neener!
No..really..just an idea I though I'd share.
