Amy looked up at Oz and she said its that time again already and Oz 
said I'm afraid so but like the past times i will only be gone 
between two weeks and a month.Oz said hopefully i will learn a couple 
more steps in the process of being able to merge my human and 
werewolf selves together before i return.Buffy said we will miss you 
and Oz said i will miss you guys as well but i will be back in about 
a month at the longest.Joyce said Oz i know you cant tell us where 
the camp is or how to contact you there but i want you to keep in 
constant touch with us while your there so that we know that your ok 
and we can tell you about anything that has come up or occured while 
you are up there.Oz said thats a good idea and then he headed up to 
his 
bedroom. 

In a cemetary in Paris France a shadowy form appeared standing over 
a tombstone and he looked down at it and laughed.A few moments later 
a voice said in bringing you back to life Richie Ryan to undo what 
occured due to my intereference in the game they also set me free 
back on the world before i due to be released again.A second later 
Ahriman stepped of the shadows and he had to grab for the top of the 
tombstone because he was quite weak and his power was a twentieth of 
what it had been before McCleod had defeated him.Ahriman said being 
set free so early was a surprise but i didnt take into consideration 
how weak i would be and how much power i would lose in returning to 
earth before i was supposed to be released again.Ahriman said I am no 
match for McCleod in my current condition i must find a way to raise 
my level of power before i can confront him and then he said maybe it 
would be wise to look for help from one who can help boost my level 
of power and then he 
disappeared. 

When the two watchers got to one of the apartments one of them was 
living in they immedietly got to work.One of them went into the 
bathroom which was set up as a darkroom and he processed the film and 
started making a picture from each frame.The other watcher immedietly 
got onto the computer and started typing in a report of everything 
that he and the other watcher had seen earlier this evening.After the 
report was ready to be sent the watcher hooked the digital camera up 
to the computer and he attached the digital pictures to the report 
and then sent it to the computer in Joe Dawson's office at the 
Watchers's new headquarters.When the second watcher came out of the 
darkroom with two trays that had a number of picture holders on them 
so that the pictures could dry out properly he placed them on chairs 
next to the computer.The second watcher immedietly started typing in 
his version of what he had seen and he made a little note at the 
bottom that he would scan some pictures of the people he had seen as 
soon as they were dry and then send them to 
him. 

Back at the estate Joyce saw that Willow and Buffy were still 
sitting down on the sofa and she said hey have either of you seen 
your new bedroom yet.Buffy and Willow both jumped up and they started 
running for the front staircase.Tara said i guess they havent and Amy 
said no we would have definitely heard something from them if they 
had.Joyce looked at Amy and she said i should chastise you for saying 
something like that young lady but i cant because i am in total 
agreement with you and then she,Amy,and Tara who were the only ones 
left in the living room started 
laughing. 

When Buffy and Willow got up to the bedroom they would be using 
together they saw that the bedroom suite was already placed around 
the bedroom and each piece looked good exactly where it was.Willow 
looked over at the bed and she saw that not only was it already put 
together with the mattresses in place but there were sheets and a 
bedspread in place as well.Buffy looked at Willow and said i guess my 
mother and the others were quite busy this afternoon getting this 
place set up for us.Willow said we are going to have to thank all of 
them in the morning for doing this and Buffy said yeah because its 
too late to do it tonight.Willow said well i guess we will have to 
wait until tommorrow night to sleep in here and Buffy said why do we 
have to wait.Willow said because we dont have any of our clothes in 
here but we could go get some and bring them in here for tonight and 
tommorrow.The next second Joyce said i guess neither of you have 
checked the dressers or closet yet or you would have found that your 
clothes and other items are already in here and then she pulled the 
bedroom door shut behind her.Buffy walked over to the bedroom closet 
and she saw that inside it were both hers and Willow's clothes and 
Willow was checking out one of the dressers in which she found 
clothes that werent hers.Willow said they moved our clothes in here 
as well and Buffy said we are definitely going to have to thank the 
others for doing this for us.Willow said how about we go take a 
shower and then hit the hay.Buffy said sounds good to me but i must 
warn you that getting to sleep is the last thing on my mind and 
anyway we have to properly break in our bed.Buffy suddenly leaned 
forward and gave Willow a kiss that hinted at what she had in store 
for her later on and then she broke the kiss.Willow and Buffy quickly 
got nightgowns,robes,and panties and then they headed for a bathroom 
and Willow hoped that they wouldnt have to check all three halls to 
find an available 
one. 

Gunn and Richie were walking down a hallway after coming up from 
downstairs where they had played a game of pool and Richie saw both 
Buffy and Willow walk into a bathroom together.Richie looked at Gunn 
and said whats the story with those two do they always do things 
together like that.Gunn looked down the hallway but didnt see anyone 
and he said who exactly are you talking about Richie.Richie said 
Buffy and Willow they just walked into that bathroom together and 
they both were carrying nightgowns and other stuff with them.Gunn 
thought for a few moments trying how to tell Richie and then he said 
Richie there is more than one reason that Buffy and Willow are called 
the Immortal Pair.Richie looked at Gunn and said i dont 
understand.Gunn said Richie not only are they partners against 
vampires and other such things but they are partners in how they feel 
for each other.Richie said you dont mean and Gunn said i am afraid so 
and Richie just whistled and then said boy am i glad they arent my 
students hurt or piss off one of them and you got both to deal 
with.Gunn chuckled and then said and you have to take into 
consideration that with Buffy's strength and Willow's magic neither 
of them are someone that anyone with half a brain wants to make angry 
much less both of them.Richie said i dont know Ramirez or Rebecca 
real well but i hope that they are carefull in how about they go in 
training Buffy and 
Willow. 

At two o'clock in the morning the watcher who had developed the 
film and made pictures of each frame scanned the pictures and sent 
copies of them to the computer in Joe Dawson's 
office. 

About One o'clock in the morning Joe Dawson was at his house sound 
asleep when he was awakened by the ringing of his telephone.Joe 
turned on the light and he said this had better damn well be 
important and then he picked up the phone and said hello.Amanda said 
Joe I'm sorry about calling you this late and i wouldnt have if it 
wasnt important.Joe Dawson said Amanda before i ask you why you 
called i would like to know how you got this phone number it is 
unlisted.Amanda smiled and she said well i could say that i used 
interpol's connections to find it but i just asked Cassandra what you 
were up to a while back since i hadnt seen you or heard from you in 
quite a while and she gave me some phone numbers which i could use to 
contact you.Joe cried out and then said damn this is it i am going to 
have all my numbers changed in the morning.Amanda said Joe why do 
that we will just have to find out what your new numbers are and me 
and Cassandra will do almost anything as you well know to get what we 
want.Joe covered his face with his hands and eh said Amanda why did 
you call me.Amanda said Joe i need you to go back through the watcher 
chronicles and see if anything like an exquickening has ever happened 
before.Joe said what exactly is an exquickening.Amanda said thats 
what i called it because i dont know what else to call it.Amanda said 
an exquickening as far as i can tell is the exact opposite of when a 
quickening is taken by an immortal after defeating another 
immortal.Joe sat up in bed and he said i have never heard of anything 
like that and i am pretty sure if something like that had happened i 
would be aware of it.Amanda said just please check for me Joe it was 
Duncan who went through it.Joe said how is he and Amanda said he is 
quite weak and he keeps fading in and out of conciousness but when he 
is concious he mummbles about losing three quickenings that were 
ripped from him by something.Joe said Amanda i will look into it 
immedietly and get back to you as soon as i find something which i 
hope i will.Joe hung up the phone and he quickly got dressed and then 
headed for the Watcher's new 
headquarters 

When Joe got to the Watcher's new headquarters he told a watcher 
that had let him inside the building to go round up all the watchers 
in the building and bring them to the auditorium.About twenty minutes 
later there were over sixty watchers in the auditorium besides Joe 
Dawson and most of them were researchers or historians who prefered 
to work at night since it was quieter then.Joe Dawson said ladies and 
gentlemen i know that we are all forbidden to aid or interfere in the 
lives of Immortals but a little while ago i was contacted by the 
immortal thief Amanda and she asked for our help.There were a number 
of upraised protests but Joe Dawson gestured for quiet and he said 
please this is quite important and i agreed to help her because of 
what happened which is nothing i have heard about since the day i 
joined the watchers.A watcher who's family had been in the Watchers 
for almost six hundred years said what exactly happened that made you 
agree that we would help her.Joe Dawson said Duncan McCleod earlier 
today suffered what Amanda called an exquickening but a better 
explanation is that a quickening was pulled out of him without him 
loosing his head or being hurt at all.The other watchers were shocked 
by this news and one of them said i have never heard of something 
like that and Joe said well neither have i and nor has Amanda which 
is why she asked me to have us check the Watcher's Archives for 
anything that is at all similar to this.Joe Dawson said Duncan 
McCleod is a good friend of mine but i had to put that to the side 
when i retook the leadership of the watchers but i am afraid i can no 
longer just stand aside i have to get involved myself because he is 
my friend so i am asking all of you to help me check the Watcher's 
Archives for anything that might bring some light to what 
happened.The watchers's who family had been in the watchers for 
almost six hundred years said Joe me and the others will do our best 
to check the archives but i think it might be wise for you to check 
with other sources besides the archives because we might not find 
anything.Joe Dawson said your right and then he said i will be up in 
my office if any of you find anything.
