Wallace thought of something and he ran out of Joe's office and 
yelled out to Joe.Joe stopped walking and he looked back at Wallace 
and said what is it Wallace I'm in a hurry here.When Wallace reached 
Joe he said Joe why dont you just go to where ever Cassandra is and 
find out exactly what is going on.Joe said Wallace she is in 
Sunnydale California which is the last place i am going without 
getting some answers to some of my questions about how powerfull 
Cassandra exactly is and who the hell are these people.Wallace said 
Joe those are pictures of Rebecca,Richie,and Ramirez.Joe pulled out 
the stack of pictures from his jacket pocket and he said there are 
two other people who we have pictures of as well.Wallace looked at 
the two pictures and he said i dont recognize them and Joe said 
neither do i which is why i am going to be 
carefull. 

Joe went home and started packing clothes and other essentials and 
then he decided to call Amanda and see if there had been any change 
in Duncan's condition.Joe walked over to the phone and he dialed the 
number for where Duncan,Nick,and Amanda were residing and a minute 
later it was picked up.Nick said hello and Joe said Nick this is Joe 
Dawson.Nick said did you guys find anything and Joe said no not yet 
but they are still looking but how is Duncan doing.Nick said well the 
spasms have stopped and he looks a bit better but it will still be a 
couple days before he has all his strength back.Joe said hey is 
Amanda around i need to ask her a question and Nick said sure she is 
in the other room let me go get her.A minute later Amanda picked up 
the phone and she said Joe please tell me you guys found something in 
the Watcher's archives.Joe said no we havent but they are still 
looking and right now i am looking for another source of 
information.Amanda said tell me the source and i will help you get 
access to it no matter what.Joe said Amanda the source isnt a what 
its a who and he is Methos.Amanda said why are you looking for him 
and Joe said because he is supposedly the oldest immortal alive at 
least as far as our records say so he might know things that we 
dont.Amanda said if it wasnt this important i wouldnt tell you where 
he is because he was badly hurt when you threw him out of the 
Watchers.Joe said Amanda i didnt throw him out of the Watchers i just 
moved him to a secluded Watcher's outpost on the French Rivierra and 
cut his access to the Watcher's new headquarters so that no immortal 
would know where it is.Amanda said why that lying sack of shit wait 
till i get my hands on him the next time i see him.Joe said Amanda 
will you please tell me where he is.Amanda said ok he is living in 
Liverpool England under the name of A.P. Dawson.Joe said i would ask 
if you were kidding if i didnt know Adam's sense of humor but sense i 
do i 
wont. 

Joe called the private airstrip that the watcher's council had a 
private plane at and he arranged for the plane to be ready for 
takeoff as soon as he arrived.Joe reached the airport about an hour 
later and he quickly boarded the plane after having his suitcase 
checked by a customs agent since he would be leaving the 
country. 

After his plane landed at a small airport on the outskirts of 
Liverpool Joe rented himself a car and then walked over to a 
payphone.Joe picked up the phone book and he started flipping through 
it until he came to the page that A.P. Dawson was listed on and he 
wrote down the street address and phone number.Joe drove halfway 
around Liverpool to reach Adam's new residence and he saw Adam 
walking on the sidewalk a couple feet behind his car.Joe pulled his 
car alongside the curb and he pressed the down button for the 
passenger side window.When Adam was about to pass right by the car 
window Joe said hey Adam i need to speak to you.Adam stopped 
instantly when he heard Joe's voice call out to him and he looked 
around.Adam didnt see Joe anywhere on the streets or on the sidewalks 
so he thought he had immagined it until he heard it again.Adam said 
Joe where are you.Joe said i am in the car right beside you you old 
senile man.Adam knelt down to look into the car and he said i might 
be old but i am hardly senile and then he said Joe why are you 
here.Joe said i need your help with something that i believe you 
might have information on.Adam said i should tell you to go to hell 
and Joe said you might feel like that toward me but this concerns 
Duncan and Cassandra might be mixed up in it.Adam said lets go up to 
my pad we can talk more comfortably 
there 

When they entered Adam's pad Adam asked Joe if he wanted a drink and 
Joe said yes i would like one but its better that i dont for Duncan's 
sake.Adam walked over to a cabinet and poured himself a drink and 
then walked over to a recliner and sat down in it.Adam took a sip of 
his drink and then he said what exactly has the boyscout got himself 
involved in now.Joe said he didnt get involved in anything but 
something did happen to him which i believed up until this morning 
was so far beyond immposible it was inconcievable.Adam said what are 
you talking about.Joe said last night Duncan suffered some kind of 
weird exquickening attack in which according to him three quickenings 
were ripped right out of him.Adam said thats bloody impossible and 
Joe said that was my first reaction to but Amanda,Nick,and two 
watchers assigned to watching them along with Duncan saw the 
lightning like bolts thats constant with quickenings shooting out of 
his body.Adam was shocked and he said why did you come to me.Joe said 
Adam you are the oldest one we know and i was hoping that you might 
have some information about what occured to Duncan that might not be 
in the Watcher's Archives.Adam said i'm sorry Joe but this is 
completely a new one on me and then he said how is Duncan doing.Joe 
said according to Amanda and Nick the spasms he suffered from 
whatever it was have subsided and he is looking better but it will be 
a couple days before he regains all his strength.Adam said thanks for 
letting me know what happened Joe and i think i will go and drop in 
on them.Joe said before you go i want you to look at some pictures of 
some people that were recently seen with Cassandra.Joe started to 
pull the stack of pictures out of his jacket pocket but they got 
snagged on one corner and when he tried to pull them out they flew 
all around him and Adam who had moved to the couch beside him.Joe 
said hold on i will pick them up and Adam said ok but then he saw a 
picture of Ramirez who he recognized immedietly that was laying on 
top of the coffee table.Adam reached out and grabbed the picture and 
took a closer look at it to make sure it was Ramirez and it 
definitely was.Adam looked at Joe and he said Joe tell me about this 
picture and where it was taken.Joe knew that the cat was out of the 
bag so he decided to do as Adam said.Joe said he along with two 
others appeared out from under an arch of light last night which 
according to my estimation of time is around the exact time that 
Duncan had his exquickening.Adam said who were the other two and Joe 
said Rebecca Horne and Richie Ryan.The glass slipped from Adam's hand 
and he said repeat that Joe.Joe said Richie Ryan and Rebecca 
Horne.Adam said give me the pictures and Joe handed the stack of 
pictures over to him.Adam flipped through the first couple of 
pictures until he came upon one of Richie Ryan and as far he could 
tell it was indeed a picture of him.Adam said Joe you have told 
Amanda and Duncan about this havent you and Joe said no i havent and 
i wont until i either find out what happened or know for certain that 
they are who they look to be.Joe said Adam there were two other women 
that appeared last night but they came out of the shadows will you 
look and see if you know them.Adam picked up the stack of pictures 
and he started flipping through them but stopped when he came upon 
the picture of a long brunette with blue eyes and he recognized Xena 
immedietly.Adam said Joe i do know her her name is Xena but Joe a 
word of discression she doesnt like people sticking their noses in 
her affairs so i suggest you leave her and her companion Gabrielle 
alone
