At nine o'clock after finishing his breakfast Oz told everyone 
that he had to be leaving now because he had quite a drive ahead of 
him.Amy,Tara,and the others all accompanied Oz out of the house and 
they said goodbye to him before he got into his van and drove 
off.After Oz had left Anya went back to the computer in the living 
room and the others headed for different areas of the house.Xander 
headed for his and Anya's bedroom because he had a job interview with 
the new owner of the bronze who was trying to hire back some of the 
old staff who had worked at the bronze because the people he had 
brought into town to work at the club had started quitting one or two 
every night since they started working there and he had come to his 
wits end by trying to keep the club properly 
staffed. 

In Los Angeles at the lawfirm of Wolfram and Hart Mr.Sygasso asked 
his assistant Janos Kilrokan if he was arranging the elimination of 
the pesky detective Lockley.Janos said sir the second she sits down 
in the driver's sead of her car she will be eliminated post 
haste.Mr.Sygasso said thats good to hear but have Spike and the 
others gone into hiding like i suggested.Janos said yes sir they are 
and just to be safe i moved them into some property the lawfirm owns 
through a dummy company and the property is under the name of someone 
long dead.Mr.Sygasso said Janos i dont like the way things have been 
happening lately so i want you to move the backout proceedures to 
standby and he said it will be done i will start on them 
immedietly. 

Several miles away from the lawfirm of Wolfram and Hart detective 
Kate Lockley walked out of her apartment and headed for her car after 
locking the door.Kate Lockley was about to insert the key to her car 
when she saw that it was already unlocked.Kate instantly went on full 
alert because she made it a habit of making sure to lock her car door 
whenever exiting it.After looking around her and the car Kate started 
thinking that she just might have forgot to lock the car this one 
time and she walked over to the driver's door once more.Kate was 
about to open the car door when she sensed a presence coming up 
behind her and she whirled around to face whoever it was while with 
one hand she started to reach for her 44 smith and wesson which was 
in a the shoulder holster she was wearing.When Kate whirled around 
Jarod said hold on detective Lockley i mean you no harm.Kate Lockley 
looked at Jarod closely and she said just who exactly are you and how 
do you know who i am.Jarod said my name is Jarod Parks and i am an 
FBI agent assigned to a special branch that you most likely arent 
aware of.Kate said let me see your ID and Jarod opened his jacket 
wide enough so that Kate could see that he didnt have a gun under it 
and he pulled out his leather ID holder.Kate took the ID holder and 
she opened it up to look at his badge and identification card.Kate 
looked at the badge and the ID card on top and then she flipped it up 
and looked at the card underneath it.Kate said i have never heard of 
this law watch special unit you are apart of.Jarod said its pretty 
new and it came into being after FFLAG was closed down by the Knight 
corporation due to political pressure but Devon Miles and several 
others who were apart of FFLAG now work with the law watch unit as 
special advisers or agents.Kate said well i dont understand how this 
involves me.Jarod said detective the unit is presently running a very 
a low class high intensity investigation on a certain lawfirm that 
you have had runins with in the past.Kate started to say something 
but Jarod said detective please dont mention any names we have to be 
carefull and there is no telling who might be listening in on us.Kate 
said well why have you come to me all the information i can tell you 
about them is already in my reports and surely you can get access to 
them.Jarod said I'm not here to get information on them i am here to 
stop you from getting killed.Kate looked at Jarod and she said what 
do you mean.Jarod reached into the side pocket of his jacket and he 
pulled out several photos and he said these pictures are of a man 
that the law has been after for quite a while and he was followed 
when he was seen leaving the office building of Wolfram and Hart.Kate 
took the pictures and looked at them and she recognized the man 
because the LAPD had an apb on him.The last picture in the stack was 
one of the man half inside her car putting something underneath the 
seat.Kate looked at her car and she said you let him put something in 
my car.Jarod said detective for the present we are only allowed to 
watch and investigate without drawing attention to ourselves but dont 
worry an unanimous phone call will be made as soon as we are out of 
the area and the police will be notified of a bomb being inside a car 
that matches the description of your car.Kate said where are you 
going to take me and Jarod said i am going to take you to someone 
down the street who will escort you to my groups current base of 
operations which is 
mobile. 

Jarod and Kate walked two blocks down the street until they reached 
a side alley and Jarod said wait here he should be waiting down the 
alley and then he walked in front of the alley.Jarod looked down the 
alley and instead of seeing the black car and its driver that he was 
looking for he saw another associate who was sitting on his 
motorcycle.Jarod waved to signal him and a few seconds later Reno 
Raines rode his motorcycle up out of the alley and stopped beside 
Jarod.Jarod said what happened to Michael he was supposed to meet us 
here.Reno said well Devon got a report from a texas ranger named 
Walker and he immedietly sent Michael down there and he sent me here 
in Michael's place.The next second Kate recognized Reno and she 
instantly drew her gun and she said Reno Raines i hearby place you 
under arrest.Jarod and Reno both looked at Kate and Reno said 
Detective Lockley i am no longer a wanted man i cleared myself of the 
charges that were pressed against me with the help of the law watch 
special unit which i joined afterwards on a part time basis.Jarod 
said its true detective Lockley and then Kate holstered her gun.Jarod 
said Reno get her to the mobile base i will be in contact after i run 
down a couple more leads.Reno said will do and then he said well 
climb aboard detective and Kate climbed aboard the motorcycle and she 
and Reno took off down the road heading for the unit's mobile 
headquarters. 

After Reno and Kate had rode off on Reno's motorcycle Jarod 
walked down the street to a payphone and made an unanimous telephone 
call alerting the police to a bomb that was inside a car and he gave 
them the name of the apartment complex,the section the car was parked 
in,and a detailed description of the car.Jarod hung up the phone and 
then he walked over to the motorcycle he had recently bought and 
climbed onto it.Jarod started up the motorcycle and then headed for 
the detective agency that Angel owned and ran with the help of 
Cordelia and Gunn.When he got there he found the office locked and a 
secretary who worked in an office down the hall told him that no one 
had been in the office in the last couple days.When the secretary had 
gone back to the office she worked in Jarod pulled out a packet of 
lockpicks and let himself into the detective agency.For the next 
several hours Jarod looked through the files cabinets and drawers for 
anything that might give him and the law watch unit information that 
they didnt have already but he didnt find anything.Jarod was about to 
leave when he noticed a computer hidden in an alcove and he walked 
over to it and turned it on.When the main screen appeared an access 
code was asked for and Jarod looked around and tried to get a feel 
for what the person who used this office would have for an access 
code.After a few minutes Jarod finally just opened up his briefcase 
and slid a piece of equipment into a computer port and used it to get 
past the access security measure and it did so.Jarod looked at the 
screen and he saw the words said L&H files in the very corner of the 
screen and he clicked on it.A second later Jarod was surprised to see 
the words naughty naughty you didnt enter an access code this 
computer will now be shutting down and it did.Jarod started the 
computer up again but this time he hooked another device up to the 
computer through a port and he used the device to find the access 
code.Jarod said i should have done this the first time and then he 
sat back and waited for the device to be finished.Jarod was quite 
shocked that the device had to take over twenty minutes to get the 
access code because he had co built the device along with designer 
and builder of Kitt who was also Kitt's chief mechanic.Jarod typed in 
the access code and when the main screen appeared he clicked on the 
L&H files once again.Jarod was dismayed when another access code was 
asked 
for.
