A little while later Bonnie,Reno,Kate,and Jarod were in the 
relaxing section of the truck when the video telephone beeped and an 
image of Devon Miles appeared on a flat video screen that was on the 
side of the truck.Devon Miles looked at them and he said hello 
Detective Lockley my name is Devon Miles and i am in charge of this 
case so i hope you will accept my apologies about how i had you 
brought in.Kate said sir i understand why it was neccessary to do it 
the way you did and no apology is neccessary since you stopped me 
from getting killed by the bomb that was placed in my car to kill 
me.Devon Miles said well you should be glad to hear that the bomb 
squad disarmed and then removed the bomb from your car.Reno said do 
you want me or Jarod to go and get it because we might need it as 
evidence.Devon said no for the present its best that we leave the 
bomb exactly where it is for the time being.Devon looked at Jarod and 
said Jarod what information on Wolfram and Hart were you able to get 
from the office of Angel Investigations.Jarod said i didnt get 
anything I'm afraid Devon.Devon said you must have missed something 
Jarod because the people at Angel Investigations had many runins with 
Wolfram and Hart in the past so they definitely would have had 
something in their files about Wolfram and Hart.Jarod said Devon 
there was nothing about Wolfram and Hart in the file cabinet and i 
couldnt get access to the computer files on Wolfram and Hart.Devon 
said Jarod maybe you should make another visit to Angel 
Investigations and this time take Bonnie with you she might be able 
to gain access to the files since you couldnt.Bonnie said Devon i 
wont have any better luck than Jarod did because the computer files 
are protected by a NSP security program and Hellfire encryption.Devon 
said but only the goverment has access to those programs how the hell 
did Angel Investigations get them.Kate said a friend of theirs is the 
only one who they allow to work on their computer probably installed 
them.Devon said do you know the name of their friend and Kate said no 
i dont but a former associate of Angel's once referred to her as Red 
for some reason.Devon said Kate how good of a friend are you of this 
Angel O'Malley and Kate said a pretty good friend i would say.Devon 
said do you think that he would allow us access to his computer files 
if you asked him.Kate said i would have to explain why but i dont 
think its a good idea to approach them because Wolfram and Hart 
dislike him and his associates worse than they dislike me.Bonnie said 
if thats true why did they try to kill you and not them.Kate said i 
dont know but it could be because i am in public law enforcement and 
can hurt them in ways that Angel Investigations couldnt.Devon thought 
for a moment and he said Bonnie contact me when Kitt and Michael get 
back and Bonnie said we will and then the video connection was 
broken. 

When Buffy and Willow got downstairs Buffy looked at her watch and 
she loudly said hey is everyone who is going to the bronze ready.Tara 
who was in the living room said yes we are and then she,Anya,and 
Richie all walked out of the living room.Anya said i figured it would 
be the two of you who would take the longest to get ready.Buffy and 
the others were about to walk out of the house when Joyce cleared her 
throat and said where do you think you are going like that.Buffy and 
the others looked at her and Buffy said mom we are going to the 
bronze like we told you earlier.Joyce said not like that your not and 
then she said you have forgotten your gear.Buffy said mom i have my 
gear right here and she tapped her beltpack that was around her 
waist.Joyce said I'm not talking about that gear I'm talking about 
your swords.Richie looked at Buffy and Willow and he said you guys 
already have swords and Willow said yes they were sent to us by the 
PTB.Joyce said yes they were and thats exactly why you are going to 
go get them.Willow said Ms.Summers we cant take our swords with us we 
dont have any place to hide them.Joyce said not true while we were 
gone to Los Angeles Cassandra went up to Sacremento and she got 
several coats for you and the others so that you could carry your 
swords around in public without drawing attention.Buffy said come on 
Willow lets go get our swords we arent going to get out of here 
without them.Richie said hey you guys wouldnt happen to have a sword 
i can borrow until i get my old one back from my teacher 
Duncan.Willow said we have a couple other swords as well hopefully 
you will find one that you can use.Willow,Buffy,and Richie went to 
the gym where the swords and other hand to hand weapons were kept 
when not being practiced with.When they entered the gym Buffy said 
there are a couple swords over there in that cabinet and then she and 
Willow walked over to the table that the wooden cases which their 
swords were in was laid on top of.Buffy and Willow both removed a 
sword from their cases and Willow said Buffy do you think i should 
take the armored gauntlet with me as well.Buffy looked at it and she 
said well its supposed to help you wield the sword so you might as 
well but keep it in a jacket pocket because we probably wont need 
it. 

When Richie,Buffy,and Willow got back to Amy and the others who 
were waiting near the front door for them they saw that Joyce had a 
pile of leather longcoats in her arms.They walked over to Joyce and 
she gave each of them a leather longcoat after checking the names 
which were written down on a label inside the jacket.Willow slid her 
sword into the special inside pocket and then put the armored 
gauntlet inside the left outside pocket which was just big enough to 
hold it.Willow put on the jacket and then she followed the others out 
of the house and Joyce shut the door behind them.As they were 
climbing into the Montana Buffy asked Richie how the hell did he and 
the other immortals get in and out of vechicles while having their 
swords in the longcoats they were wearing.Richie laughed and he said 
i asked my teacher Duncan McCloud that very same question when i 
became immortal and i will tell you exactly what he told me which is 
you get used to it.Willow said i wonder if the new owner of the 
Bronze has changed it any since he bought it.Amy said he most likely 
did after all it was closed for renevations for almost a week.Richie 
said if it was only closed for a couple days i doubt that much of 
anything was done to change the club because it takes longer than a 
few days to really renevate a 
building. 

When they got to the bronze they saw that there was a line already 
outside the building and Amy said damn there is more people waiting 
in line than usual.Tara parked the Montana in the closest parking 
space to the bronze that she could find and then they quickly climbed 
out of the Montana.When they got into line Buffy said i hope they 
havent raised the price to enter much because i only have twenty 
dollars with me and i am going to need a couple drinks with all the 
dancing me and Willow are going to do tonight.Willow said Buffy we 
didnt discuss dancing here tonight.Buffy looked at Willow and she 
said Willow there is nothing wrong with us dancing together it will 
be just like all the other times we just danced to the music because 
there was no one else we prefered to dance with.Willow smiled and she 
said your right Buffy and she leaned forward and kissed 
Buffy. 

A few minutes later Buffy looked toward the front of the line 
which had only moved about twelve feet since they had got into line 
and she said i wonder what is taking so long up there.Willow said i 
dont know it never took us this long to get into the bronze 
before.Richie said from what i can see it looks like the people at 
the door are searching people for something before letting them 
inside.Willow looked at Buffy and she said Buffy if they search us 
they will find our gear.Buffy said shit your right and then she said 
i guess we will just have to leave our jackets and stuff in the 
Montana.Anya said hey dont worry i just caught sight of one of the 
guys at the door and its Xander he should be able to pass us through 
without any trouble.They quickly arranged themselves so that 
Buffy,Willow,and Richie would be checked by Xander while Anya,Amy,and 
Tara were checked by the other man who was also searching people.
