The next second Michael's wrist communicator beeped and Michael 
pressed the button and said what is it Kitt.Kitt said last night 
after we got here i heard over the police frequency that Kate's 
partner had recieved word that there was a bomb at the apartment of a 
Cordelia Chase who by the way works at Angel Investigations.Reno said 
did the police find a bomb and Kitt said yes and according to the 
descriptions i heard of it it was exactly like the three bombs that 
were left at the office.Jarod said were they able to defuse it and 
Kitt said yes they were they supposedly used some experimental piece 
of equipment to bypass the mercury switch so they could move the bomb 
to a safer location where it was defused.Michael said damn it looks 
like we have ran into a roadblock in the investigation.Bonnie said 
Michael what are you talking about we havent hit no roadblock we just 
hit a pothole we can just keep going.Reno said your right Bonnie we 
can continue the investigation but it might have been a lot easier if 
we had been able to find out what they had in their computer files on 
Wolfram and Hart.Bonnie said hey guys the computer files might be 
gone but Angel O'Malley and his employees are still alive at least as 
far as we know they are.Jarod said Bonnie the first thing that Angel 
and the others have probably already left town after the office blew 
up and a bomb was found at Cordelia's apartment.Bonnie said well it 
should be pretty easy to locate them and Jarod said i dont think it 
will Bonnie because they are professionals and they wont make it easy 
for anyone to find them that they dont want to find them.Bonnie 
thought a second and then she looked at Kate and said Kate do you 
have any idea of where they might have gone.Kate quickly said i dont 
know where they could have gone but maybe my partner does.Jarod took 
out his cellular phone and he said call him and see.Kate said i had 
better wait until later this afternoon to call him because he works 
nights just like i do.


The lear jet that Joe Dawson was aboard landed at a small airstrip 
in Clarkesville and he rented a car at a dealership and headed for 
Sunnydale.Joe stopped at convience store and he told the clerk the 
address for Cassandra's home and asked for directions on how to get 
there.After getting the directions Joe got back into his car and he 
headed for Cassandra's house following the directions that he had 
wrote down.About fifteen minutes Joe parked his rented car up into 
the driveway and then headed for the front door.Joe knocked on the 
front door and a minute later Rebecca Horne answered the door and she 
said hello may i help you.Joe said my name is Joe Dawson and i am 
here to see Cassandra.The next second Cassandra who was in the 
kitchen preparing the ingredients for a dish that she was going to 
cook in a few hours said who was at the door Cassandra.Rebecca 
motioned for Joe to come on in and she said follow me.Joe followed 
Rebecca into the kitchen and she said its a Joe Dawson right before 
he walked into the kitchen.Cassandra looked at Joe and she said Joe 
what do i owe the honor of this unexpected visit.Joe said I came here 
to see how it is possible that Rebecca Horne,Juan villa-Lobos 
Ramirez,and Richie Ryan are all walking around when they are all 
supposed to be quite dead.Cassandra said its simple the PTB'S 
arranged for me to bring them back to life by doing an ancient ritual 
of my people.Joe said the PTB and Cassandra said yes the PTB'S you 
know who they are certainly.Joe said why would the PTB's send the 
three of them back here.Rebecca said Mr.Dawson me and Ramirez were 
selected to train the Immortal Pair and Richie was sent back because 
of Ahriman's interference in the game and he is to protect the 
immortal pair until they are capable of defending themselves.Joe said 
hold on exactly who is this Immortal Pair.Cassandra said the Immortal 
Pair are the immortal slayer and the immortal wicca who you better 
know them as Buffy and Willow in that order. 

Cassandra said Joe lets go into the living room where you can sit 
down before we continue this discussion and that was fine with 
Joe.Once they were seated Joe said Cassandra did you pull their 
quickenings out of Duncan McCleod so that you could bring them to 
life.Cassandra said no i didnt that must have been the work of the 
PTB'S but why do you ask.Joe said because when the three quickenings 
were removed from him he was somewhat hurt and it will stll be a 
couple days before he regains his full strength.Cassandra said i am 
really sorry to hear about that and i will call him and the others 
tonight to see how he is doing.Joe said where is Ramirez and Richie 
at and Cassandra said well Ramirez is asleep in a spare bedroom 
because he was up almost all the night reading that book on the 
coffee table.Joe looked at the book and he read its title.Rebecca 
said Richie is over where the immortal pair and their friends live 
protecting them.Joe said i would like to meet them and Cassandra said 
you can meet them tommorrow when we go back over there.

The next second Richie who had rode Xander's motorcycle over to 
Cassandra's house walked right in and he called out Cassandra's 
name.Rebecca said Richie we are in the living room and a few seconds 
later Richie walked into the living room and he plopped down on the 
sofa not even seeing Joe who was also sitting on the sofa.Rebecca 
said Richie what are you doing here without Buffy and Willow being 
with you.Richie said Rebecca its impossible for me to protect them if 
they wont tell me when they are going off someplace or allow me to 
follow them so i can protect them.Rebecca said what are you talking 
about.Richie said earlier this morning they went off on a morning run 
without telling me and when i do find them they wont let me stay with 
them to protect them.The next second Ramirez who had just walked out 
of his bedroom said boy you let them tell you to leave and did as 
they said are you daft or what.Richie said Ramirez i wouldnt have 
left them if they hadnt threatened to hurt me real bad and they were 
at the pond which i figured was a pretty safe place for them to be 
alone after i thought about it for a few minutes.Cassandra said come 
on everyone we are going to go over there because i think we do need 
to have a talk with them.Joe said good i was hoping to meet them 
today.For the first time Richie looked over at Joe and he yelled Joe 
while jumping to his feet.Joe pulled himself to his feet and he said 
its good to see you again too Richie and then they hugged and patted 
each other on the back.Richie said how is Duncan,Amanda,and Adam 
doing.Joe said i will tell you on the way over to where Buffy and 
Willow live.

When Buffy and Willow walked back into the house they saw Giles 
sitting in a chair reading a book and he said did you two enjoy your 
morning workout.Buffy said somewhat yeah but it would have been 
better if Richie hadnt followed us to the pond where we were swimming 
laps and got onto us about going off without him.Giles said Buffy he 
is here to protect both of you and he cant protect the two of you if 
he isnt with you.Willow said we know that Giles but there are going 
to be some times when we just want to be by ourselves so we can enjoy 
ourselves completely not like when we go to the bronze or other 
places around town where we have to keep one eye open and alert at 
all times.

The next second Richie and the others walked right into the front 
door without buzzing in first.A milisecond after Joe who was the last 
one in stepped into the foyer both of the foyer doors slammed shut 
and the airtight seals locked into place.An alarm started right after 
the doors shut and everyone in the house except Angel headed for the 
foyer to see what had happened.When Giles,Buffy,and Willow got to the 
foyer doors they saw that Cassandra,Richie,Rebecca,Ramirez,and a 
stranger in the foyer.Giles figured that whoever the stranger was he 
would have to be a friend or Cassandra and the others wouldnt have 
brought him with them so he walked over to a pannel and typed in the 
code to unseal the doors and have them open once unsealed.

When the doors were opened Ramirez said Giles what the hell was 
that magic or something none of us were able to open them once they 
slammed shut.Buffy said it wasnt magic it was a type of modern 
technology and the reason you couldnt open the doors after they 
slammed shut was because they were sealed airtight.Richie said you 
have airtight doors for the foyer.Willow said hey this place used to 
be the home of a secret goverment group and they had the airtight 
doors and a couple other things installed while the house was being 
built.Rebecca said but you guys do own this place now and Willow said 
yes i bought it from the goverment after the group had been closed 
down.

A few minutes later 
Buffy,Willow,Giles,Cassandra,Joe,Rebecca,Richie,and Ramirez all 
headed up for the conference room where they could all sit down 
comfortably and talk.Once seated Cassandra said Buffy Willow 
according to Richie you arent allowing him to protect the two of 
you.Buffy said Cassandra its not that we arent allowing him to 
protect us its just that he doesnt have to be with us 24/7 to protect 
us.Richie said Buffy the first time either of you run into an 
Immortal who wants to take your heads because your both easy marks 
you wll be more than happy that i am there to protect you.Willow 
looked at Buffy and she said he might have a point Buffy maybe we 
should let him stay near us when we go out so that he can protect 
us.Buffy looked at Willow and she said ok Richie we will make a 
compromise of sorts with you.Rebecca said what kind of 
compromise.Buffy said we will tell you before we leave the grounds 
and you can come along with us where ever we go except at nights when 
we go on patrol and when we are going to the pond.Richie said wow you 
guys might need me when you go on patrol.Giles said Richie I know you 
mean well but its Buffy's duty as the slayer to patrol at night and 
Willow can provide all the backup that she will most likely 
need.Ramirez said I'm sorry Giles but i agree with Richie he should 
protect them even on patrol.Ramirez said as a matter of fact i am 
wondering if Buffy and Richie shouldnt patrol without Willow.Willow 
said no way am i going to stay here when Buffy is on patrol and her 
eyes started glowing.Cassandra said calm down Willow he is just 
expressing his opinion which is his right to since he is your 
teacher.Willow looked at Ramirez and she said Ramirez lets get 
something straight right off the top and she said you may be my 
teacher but that does not give you the right to tell me what i can 
and cannot do outside of the training you are going to give me and we 
will be training durring the day because i will be patrolling with 
Buffy at night.
