Ramirez walked over to where Buffy and Willow were sitting and he 
said what do you two think your doing you are supposed to be 
practicing with those weapons.Buffy said Ramirez we are taking a 
break and its certainly called for since we have been throwing those 
weapons for over forty minutes and before that we had been sparring 
for over an hour.Ramirez said you are both in remarkable shape but 
you still need to get in better shape.Ramirez looked at the cabinet 
that the weapons were stored in and she said is there any swords in 
there.Buffy said there should be one or two swords in there according 
to whether or not Richie put back the sword he took with him when we 
went to the bronze last night.Ramirez said Willow go get a sword and 
i want you to hold it over your head while you and Buffy are taking a 
break.Buffy said hold on Ramirez we are trying to relax are muscles 
which are aching and she cant do that if she is holding a sword over 
her head.Ramirez said young lady Willow is my student and i want her 
to build up her strength in her arms as well as her stamina which she 
will do by holding up the sword.

Willow got up from where she was sitting and she headed for the 
table that the wooden cases which contained her and Buffy's swords 
were on.Buffy said Willow get me one of my swords while your at it we 
might as well do it together.Willow opened up her box and she took 
out one of the three swords and the armored gauntlet because she 
figured she might as well as get used to it before she had to wear it 
in sword practice.Willow closed her box and then she opened Buffy's 
box and took out one of Buffy's swords.Willow laid Buffy's sword in 
front of her box before closing it and then she put on her armored 
gauntlet.Willow picked up Buffy's sword with the hand the armored 
gauntlet was on and her sword with her other hand before walking back 
over to where Buffy,Ramirez,and Joe were.Willow handed Buffy her 
sword and then she sat down and raised her sword above her 
head.Ramirez looked at Willow a few seconds later and he was shocked 
by what he saw.Ramirez said Willow where in hades did you get that 
armored gauntlet and katana sword.Willow said they were sent to me 
along with two other swords by the PTB and Buffy got three katana 
swords from them also.Joe said Ramirez whats wrong.Ramirez looked at 
the katana sword that Buffy was holding over her head and he said 
where are the other four swords.Buffy said they are in the two wooden 
cases over on that table.Joe said Ramirez whats so special about the 
swords.Ramirez looked at Joe and he said the six swords and the 
armored gauntlet were all made by the great japanese swordsmith 
Masamune in the year 1189.Buffy said how can you be so sure of that 
and Joe said because he was in Japan at that time if i remeber 
correctly.Ramirez said yes i was a member of the Royal Empirial court 
of Emperor Gotoba who was the 82nd emperor of Japan.Willow said how 
can you be certain that our swords and the armored gauntlet were made 
by Masamune if you were in the Empirial Court.Ramirez said the 
swordsmith Masamune was the official Empirial Swordsmith of Emperor 
Gotoba's empirial court and Emperor Gotoba was the only one who could 
commission Masamune to make swords or armored gauntlets.Buffy said so 
this Emperor Gotoba commissioned Massamune to make the swords and 
Ramirez said yes but it was a strange commission.Joe said what do you 
mean.Ramirez said a man came to Emperor Gotoba's court without 
invitation or credentials but he was quickly seen by Emperor Gotoba 
who instantly agreed to have Massamune create the six swords that the 
man asked for and the man had some strange metal with him that he 
wanted the swords to be made out of and they were.Willow looked at 
the swordblade and she said now that you mention it i cant tell what 
kind of metal it is.Buffy said Willow its just probably some 
combination of metals that they stopped using centuries ago or 
something.Ramirez said i dont think so because i have seen a large 
number of swords in my life and i have never seen any of them that 
were made out of that metal.Joe said why dont you guys just take it 
to the college nearby and have the swords examined by a metalologist 
certainly he will know what alloy they are made out of.Giles who had 
come to see how Buffy and Willow were progressing said thats not a 
very good idea i am afraid.Buffy said why not and Giles said because 
all of the swords that were made by Massamune and several of his best 
students are considered to be empirial japanese treasures and if some 
people find out about those swords they will try their best to either 
get a hold of them for themselves or return them to Japan.Ramirez 
said if what he says is true than we cant risk taking them to anyone 
to be examined.

Giles said i think thats enough of a workout for today you two so go 
hit the showers.Willow and Buffy jumped to their feet and left the 
gym after putting their swords and the armored gauntlet in the 
case.Ramirez said Giles i wasnt finished when them especially Willow 
she could have continued working out for another hour or so.Giles 
said Ramirez they both need to relax before they begin the nightly 
patrol and they also need to eat something as well.Ramirez said i 
still dont think that Willow should accompany Buffy on patrol Richie 
is more than good enough to give her backup.Joe said Ramirez i know 
Richie quite well better than you in fact and i have to say that 
there are things here in Sunnydale that he is not ready to go up 
against but Willow probably is since she has lived here her whole 
life and has helped Buffy fight against things like vampires and 
demons for the last few years.

Willow and Buffy ran up to their room and they got some clothes that 
were suitable for wearing on patrol and then headed for the bathroom 
together.When they got into the bathroom Buffy shut and locked the 
door and then they started getting undressed.Willow said Buffy do you 
still want to camp out at the pond tonight.Buffy said yes i do but i 
think we should wait and make the final decision after the first 
couple of patrols so we will know if its safe or not to camp 
out.Willow said will we be taking the motorcycles and Buffy said yes 
we will because we can cover more territory faster if we arent on 
foot.Willow said yeah and none of the vampires or whatever we 
encounter will stand a chance of getting away from us if he is on 
foot.Willow and Buffy took a fifteen minute shower in which they 
bathed each other as well as washed each others hair.Buffy slid her 
hand between Willow's legs and she said we are going to have to shave 
ourselves again pretty soon because the hair is coming back.

When Jarod got to the old rundown mansion that Angel O'Malley had 
previously owned he carefully checked the outside of the mansion to 
see if anyone had been inside it recently while doing his best to 
keep out of sight.After not finding any signs that anyone had been 
around the mansion in the last couple days he let himself 
inside.Jarod went from room to room looking for any sign that someone 
had been inside but all he found were broken shards or pieces of 
items that had been left behind and someone had broke them after 
Angel O'Malley had moved out.After finding nothing Jarod walked out 
of the mansion,climbed onto his motorcycle,and headed for the Rig 
where Bonnie,Reno,and Kate were waiting for him Michael and Kitt.
