Richie said hey i am going to need a helmet because this one 
barely fits me.Buffy said thats because its Anya's helmet but she 
will almost never ride the motorcycle with Xander.Vincent said since 
i am getting eighteen thousand for the motorcycle which is the full 
price i will throw in a helmet for free.Richie looked at the section 
of the wall that the motorcycle helmets were on and he said which row 
can i choose from.Vincent walked over to the wall the helmets were on 
and he said someone riding one of my special custom bikes should only 
wear a helmet that fitting a rider of the bike and then he said what 
size helmet do you wear.Richie told Vincent what size helmet he wore 
and Vincent took one off the wall and tossed it to him after checking 
the size.Richie looked at the size decal and then he put the helmet 
on.Richie said the helmets perfect and Vincent said good now lets get 
out of here because i want to get home before it gets totally dark 
outside.Richie wheeled the motorcycle out of the shop and then he 
climbed onto it.Buffy,Willow,and Richie waited for Vincent to look up 
the shop and get on his own motorcycle before starting theirs 
up.Vincent rode off first waving goodbye to them and they took off to 
begin their first round of patroll.

They rode around all the graveyards so that Buffy could sense any 
of them if they were in the graveyard.At the graveyard on the 
northeast side of town Buffy sensed a large number of vampires in the 
cemetary and more vampires were approaching the cemetary.Buffy said 
guys there are a lot of them in the cemetary with more approaching so 
i suggest we do a carefull recon of whatever they are up to.Richie 
said if there are a lot of them dont you think we should call for 
help.Willow said Richie first we want to find out what exactly is 
going on before we act.Richie said i just dont understand you two 
last night you were all gungho to take out the vampires and demons at 
the club but tonight you want to find out what they are up to before 
acting.Buffy said Richie its like this the vampires and demon that 
came to the bronze last night were planning on feeding and hurting 
people so they had to be stopped but we cant be sure that the 
vampires in there are up to anything like that.Richie said but they 
are vampires and you are a slayer who is supposed to kill them.Buffy 
said Richie i dont just go kill vampires for no reason which is why i 
am still alive and not dead like all the other slayers who preceeded 
me.Richie said Buffy you are immortal remeber.Buffy said i know that 
but one of the reasons that i only died once so far is that i unlike 
all the other slayers before me dont go after every single vampire 
just because they exist.Willow said Richie think about Xena and 
Gabrielle they are vampires but Buffy isnt about to go after them 
because she has no reason to.Richie said you mean that the vampires 
have to be meaning to hurt someone or something like that before you 
go after them.Buffy said yes thats it exactly.

Willow,Buffy,and Richie all climbed off their motorcycles which they 
quickly chained together before sneaking into the cemetary.Buffy lead 
the way keeping them away from the large group of vampires while 
trying to find someplace that they could observe the group without 
being discovered.They had just found the perfect spot to observe the 
vampires from behind a large tombstone statue when a vampire turned 
and looked right at the tombstone statue.The vampire said slayer you 
and your friends come on out we know you are there.Buffy looked at 
Wilow and Richie and she said come on lets see what they have to say 
but keep your hands near your weapons.Willow reached into her coat 
and she undid the straps that held her guns securely in place in case 
she needed to draw them quickly.Buffy did the same and Richie reached 
into his coat and put his hand on the handle of his 
sword.Willow,Buffy,and Richie walked out from behind the tombstone 
statue and kept walking until they were about fifteen feet from the 
begining of the group of vampires.The vampire who had called them out 
said slayer why didnt you and your friends attack us right after you 
came upon us.Buffy said we had no reason to attack you we were just 
trying to see what you were up to.The vampire said you could have 
just come up and asked us.Willow said we could have but there was no 
telling if you would have just attacked us right off when we showed 
ourselves so watching seemed the better idea.The vampire suddenly 
laughed and she said your right of course and we still might attack 
you.Buffy said hey we dont have any problem with you or your kind 
unless they are causing trouble or up to no good.Another vampire said 
what do you consider to be no good.Buffy said well awakening 
Acathla,opening the hellmouth,killing people for no 
reason,Accensions,and things of that nature pop right up in my mind 
to begin with.The vampire who had called them out said neither me nor 
most of the vampires here are interested in doing anything along 
those lines.Buffy said thats very good to hear but may i ask what all 
of you are gathering here for.The vampire looked at them and she said 
my name is Yolanda and i need you to give me one good reason why we 
should tell you what we are doing.Buffy looked at them and she said 
so that me and my friends will leave so that you can continue doing 
whatever you were doing or planned to do.Yolanda said we were just 
having a celebration in honor of the final death of the Master which 
was five years ago tonight.Buffy looked at Yolanda and she said damn 
it was five years ago tonight when i killed him.Willow said well have 
a nice celebration and if you ever get around to it make a toast for 
us.Yolanda said we will but will you leave us alone.Buffy said we 
have no reason to mess with you especially on such a festive occasion 
so have fun but please dont get too drunk that you get too wasted to 
get to where ever you guys live before sunrise.Yolanda looked at 
Buffy and she said i thought you would like for all of us to get 
caught in sunlight so that you wouldnt have to worry about having to 
deal with us.Buffy said Yolanda the only vampires who i ever want to 
be out in the sun are those who cause trouble not only for my kind 
but yours as well because slayers controlled by the Watcher's council 
are sent to hunt them down without mercy.Yolanda said its true then 
that you arent under the control of the watcher's council.Buffy said 
no i am not i told those stuck up jackasses where they could bloody 
go after they nearly got me and my mother killed durring the test 
that i was given around my eighteenth birthday.Willow said Yolanda 
are there any other celebrations going on around town that we should 
know about.Yolanda said why do you ask.Richie said sheesh you guys 
sure are cautious to the max.Willow said i asked so that we would 
know the places that we might as well not bother approaching since 
there are celebrations like the one you are having here at 
them.Yolanda said no this is the only place we are gathering to 
celebrate and Willow said thanks and then Buffy,Willow,and Richie all 
headed back the way they came.Yolanda didnt completely trust them so 
she followed them to the gate and watched them climb on their 
motorcycles and ride off.Yolanda ran back to the others and she told 
them that the slayer and her friends had indeed left the cemetary.One 
of the vampires said we should put out scouts about a hundred feet 
all around here so that we can be sure that they dont sneak back upon 
us.Yolanda said thats a good idea and she quickly chose twenty 
vampires to take the first watch.

After the second round of patrol Buffy said hey guys lets head to 
the bronze to get a drink and relax a little while before we start 
the third round of patrol.Richie said hey how many rounds do you guys 
make a night.Buffy said well we ussually do at least five rounds but 
from what we have seen tonight its going to be quiet so we will stop 
after four if we dont find anything by then.Richie said in that case 
i do hope it is quiet tonight.Willow said hey Buffy how are we going 
to get into the bronze with all the stuff we have.Buffy said Willow 
you forget that we have special permits which allow us to take guns 
almost everywhere we want which includes bars and clubs.Buffy looked 
at Willow and she said you do have your special permit with you and 
Willow said of course its in my wallet which is in my right front 
pocket.Buffy said ok lets head for the bronze then.

When they got to the bronze Buffy and the others parked their 
motorcycles in two parking paces that were side by side and once 
again they locked the three motorcycles together.Richie said i hope 
we dont have a problem getting into the club tonight and Buffy said i 
dont think we will.They got into line and it took the line five 
minutes for them to get close to the front doors.Once again there 
were two of the bronze staff standing right at the door searching for 
weapons but tonight they both had aluminum baseball bats beside them 
in case someone tried to cause trouble like last night.Buffy 
recognized one of the guys as Scott and she said Scott you guys dont 
really think those aluminum baseball bats are going to have any 
effect on some of the guys or gals who come around here to cause 
trouble.Scott looked at Buffy and he said of course i know that and 
so does Xander who told Caleb that straight to his face which is why 
he is inside the club and not out here.The other club worker said 
Miss i have to search you for weapons so please move your arms away 
from your sides.Buffy just flipped open the card holder which had her 
special permit right in front and said read it.The club worker looked 
at the special permit and he said hey this isnt real and Buffy said 
oh yes it is.Scott said hey whats up and the guy said she has some 
special permit that says she can carry guns into most places 
including clubs and bars.Scott said let me see it i know a little bit 
about special permits since my father is an officer with the highway 
patroll.Scott looked at the permit and then he turned it around and 
started reading the list of guns that Buffy was allowed to carry 
around.Scott couldnt believe his eyes when he read m-60 and some of 
the other guns on the list but he knew the special permit was real 
although how she got it was a puzzle.Scott said Buffy please dont 
tell me you have an m-60 or anything like it under your coat.Buffy 
said no i only have these and she opened her coat and let him see her 
glock 9mm and 44 automag which he recognized on sight.Scott looked at 
the permit one more time and he passed it back to her and said let 
her in Keith the permit is real.Keith said go on in but Buffy said i 
will wait for my friends.Keith looked at Willow and he said dont tell 
me you have a special permit too.Willow just nodded and started to 
pull out her wallet.Keith said dont bother showing it to me just 
please go on in.When Buffy and Willow still waited Keith just waved 
Richie right on by without even asking him if he had a special 
permit.When they walked inside the club they each handed Xander the 
entrance fee and Xander said hey how did you guys get in with your 
stuff tonight.Willow smiled and said Buffy showed them her special 
permit and i started to but Keith waved me by after i said i had one 
too.Xander looked at Willow for a moment and then he said you mean 
you guys brought hardware with you tonight.Buffy said yes we did we 
thought we might need it tonight after what happened last night but 
so far it looks like we were wrong.Xander said please just be 
carefull tonight and Willow said oh we will Xander.
