Amanda went to the Eastern Airlines booth and she got four tickets 
for a flight to Sunnydale California but it would stop in Sioux City 
South Dakota for fuel before continuing on to Sunnydale.After their 
luggage and especially the six swords that they had with them were 
cleared they all headed for the waiting area for their next flight.

Albert Kincaid called Tyrell again after hearing one of the people 
mention an airstrip they had airplanes waiting for them at.When 
Tyrell who was already halfway to the building that Wolfram and Hart 
used in Las Vegas with twelve of his gang members who were spread out 
in three cars while the rest of the gang was in route to join them 
answered his cellular phone on the third ring.Albert Kincaid told 
Tyrell that the guys he wanted stopped were heading for an 
airstrip.Tyrell said Mr.Kincaid dont worry me and some of my boys are 
less than a minute away from the building your lawfirm uses and the 
rest are on the way.Mr.Kincaid said it might be wise for you to split 
your boys up so you will be able to follow them no matter which way 
they go until enough of your gang has arrived to enable you to take 
them down easily.Tyrell said Mr.Kincaid dont try to tell us what to 
do we know what to do and how to do it and then he hung up the 
phone.Tyrell turned to Tonio and he said Tonio you and Bernardo start 
calling the boys and have them start placing a car at each street 
thats four blocks away from the lawfirm so that we will know which 
way they are going and we can attack them all at once.Twenty seconds 
later the driver of the car Tyrell was in pulled the car over next to 
the curb and he said we are here Tyrell and it looks like they havent 
left yet.Tyrell said well we will stay right here until they take off 
and then we will follow them.

Ramirez got out of the rental car and after getting his suitcase he 
headed for the front doors of Nash Antiques.Ramirez looked back at 
Joe before walking inside and he waved goodbye to him.Ramirez turned 
around and he walked into the Nash Antiques and started looking 
around at the antiques as he walked away from the front doors.Ramirez 
was about thirty feet from the front door when Maxine walked up to 
him and asked him if she could be of any help.Ramirez said i am just 
here to see an old friend and to pick up something that belongs to 
me.Maxine said whats the name of your old friend and what exactly are 
you here to pick up.Ramirez said Madam please excuse my rudeness and 
lack of proper behavior i have forgotten to introduce myself.Maxine 
said thats perfectly all right sir and she suddenly got the feeling 
that he was an immortal by the way he acted.Ramirez said i thank you 
for excusing my lack of proper behavior but now i must correct my 
mistake.Ramirez said my name is Juan Villa-Lobos Ramirez and i am 
here to see my old friend Connor McCleod and pick up my sword which 
he has in his possession.Maxine looked at him for a second and then 
she pulled a small 9mm glock which she had started carrying after 
finding out about immortals like Connor McCleod who went by the name 
of Russel Nash.Maxine shoved the pistol right into Ramirez's throat 
and she said sir i dont know who the hell you really are but i know 
you are definitely not Connor's teacher Juan Villa-Lobos Ramirez 
because he died over seven hundred years ago now you have to the 
count of five to get out of here before i shoot you.Ramirez said 
Madam please i really am who i say i am and if you will just allow me 
to wait until Connor arrives you can take his word for it since you 
dont accept mine.Maxine thought a second and then she said i think it 
is a good idea that you stay because Connor will definitely want to 
have a talk with anyone impersonating his first teacher.Ramirez and 
Maxine went upstairs to Connor's retreat after Maxine had locked the 
front doors and placed the closed sign in the front left window.

About Twenty minutes later Connor McCleod parked his car in an 
alley about forty feet from Nash Antiques and he instantly sensed the 
presence of another immortal in the area.Connor put his hand on the 
hilt of his sword which was in overcoat and then he got out of his 
car and looked around.The presence of the immortal felt sort of 
familiar to him but he couldnt place it so he started walking toward 
the antique shop while keeping his senses on full alert.When he got 
to the front doors he knew that the immortal was inside the shop 
because of the closed sign being in the left window.Connor unlocked 
the front door with his key and then he started walking around the 
lower level looking for Maxine.

Ramirez and Maxine were upstairs in Connor's retreat and Ramirez was 
telling Maxine about some of the things he had done to teach Connor 
about immortality,the quickening,and the game when he sensed Connor's 
arrival.Ramirez looked at Maxine and he said Madam Connor has arrived 
and he is just entering downstairs i believe.Maxine said we will wait 
for him up here it wont take long for him to come up here.Ramirez 
said Madam you still dont trust me and Maxine said no i dont and with 
good reasons to as far as i am concerned.After checking the lower 
level he headed straight up to his retreat because that was where 
Maxine had promised to go to if an immortal came by while he was gone.

Connor drew his Katanna out of his overcoat and he dropped the 
overcoat to the floor before entering his retreat.Connor saw Maxine 
first and he asked her if she was ok and she said yes i am 
fine.Connor turned to look at the immortal who was an uninvited guest 
as far as he was concerned and he was shocked when he saw 
Ramirez.Connor's katana slipped from his fingers and Connor just 
stared at Ramirez.Ramirez said Connor are you just going to stand 
there with your bloody mouth open like a lake trout highlander or are 
you going to say hello to your old friend and teacher.Connor looked 
at Ramirez for a few seconds more and then he said Ramirez.Ramirez 
said yes highlander its really me.Connor walked up to Ramirez and 
touched his chest and said how is this possible i burried you in 
Scotland after you lost your head.Ramirez said its quite a long story 
but i will tell it to ye and ye lass over some brandy or whatever 
proper drinks you have here.Maxine looked at Connor and she said 
Connor is he really Juan Villa-Lobos Ramirez your first 
teacher.Connor said aye he is although i dont know how he is standing 
here in front of us big as life.

Over the next hour and a half Ramirez told Connor and Maxine about 
how he and two other immortals who had lost their heads were 
approached by the PTB and were offered the chance to come back to 
earth if they would do what was asked of them.Maxine said what did 
they want the three of you to do.Ramirez said well two of us are to 
be the teachers for a pair of immortals who have a special destiny 
and the third immortal is to protect them from other immortals until 
their training is complete.Connor said who are the other two 
immortals.Ramirez said they are Rebecca Herne and Richie Ryan.Connor 
was shocked by this piece of news and he said does Amanda and Duncan 
know about this and Ramirez said not yet but they are going to find 
out later today when the reunion Joe Dawson is setting up 
occurs.Connor said where is this reunion going to take place and 
Ramirez said at Cassandra's home in Sunnydale California.Connor said 
come on we are going to Sunnydale because there is no way i am going 
to miss seeing this reunion.
