Joyce Summers got up about eight o'clock and she headed down to the 
kitchen after getting dressed.When she walked into the kitchen she 
saw that Gunn was cooking pancakes and she said Gunn do you think you 
will have enough for me.Gunn said of course Joyce i have enough 
pancake batter for three dozen pancakes.Joyce poured herself a cup of 
coffee and said i will be in the living room please call me when the 
pancakes are ready.Joyce walked out of the kitchen and she headed for 
the living room and she saw Giles sitting at the computer as she 
walked into it.Joyce said Giles what time did Buffy and Willow get in 
last night.Giles said i dont know i fell asleep in the recliner while 
waiting up for them but i know they got back because the humvee is 
back and the ground alarms were all activated late last night.Joyce 
said why would they activate all the ground alarms.Giles said i dont 
know but i plan to ask them as soon as they wake up.Joyce said if 
they got in late they are sure to sleep late and you have to be at 
the magic shop by nine thirty to open it up.Giles said Amy and Tara 
are going to open the magic shop for me so that i can talk to them 
when they wake up.Joyce said Giles remeber to tell Willow that a 
represenative of the insurance company she had her car insured with 
called yesterday and she wants to meet with her today.Giles said did 
she leave a number and Joyce said yes she did its on the refrigerator 
along with the woman's name.Giles said dont worry i will tell her 
when they get up.

About ten thirty Giles decided it was about time that Buffy and 
Willow got up so he headed for their bedroom.When he reached their 
bedroom he knocked on the door.Giles waited for about ten seconds for 
an answer and then he knocked on the door louder than before.Buffy 
heard the knock and she opened her eyes a bit and looked at the 
clock.Buffy rolled off of Willow and she got up off the bed.Buffy 
walked a few feet away from the door and said hold on I'm coming just 
loud enough for whoever was out the door could hear it but not loud 
enough to wake Willow up.Buffy quickly put on a robe and then she 
walked over to the door and opened the door a foot and a half.Buffy 
saw it was Giles and she said what do you want Giles.Giles said i 
have a message for Willow and i want to know what time you two got 
back and what took you so long to get home.Buffy said we got home 
about two in the morning and it was almost a quiet night except for a 
couple vampires who attacked some joggers in the park and us coming 
accross several kindred vampires who had been attacked by an Iron 
Golem.Giles looked at Buffy and said Iron Golem and Buffy said yes 
but dont worry its probably left town by now.Giles said is that why 
the ground alarms were all activated last night and Buffy said yes it 
is.Giles said i need to go check my books on Iron Golems if we have 
to go up against it we will need to know its weaknesses.Buffy said 
well according to some of the kindred vampires who appeared after we 
found the hurt kindred it cant be hurt by normal weapons or magic for 
that matter.Giles said damn that means its pretty much 
unstoppable.Buffy said well actually it can be put into a sleep if it 
entombed underground and there might be a chance it can be affected 
by sunlight because the last time it was loose it hid durring the day 
in buildings and caves where the sunlight couldnt reach it.Giles 
thought a second and said that definitely could be a weakness but i 
will have to check my books and think about how it can be used 
against it.

Buffy said Giles whats the message you have for Willow i will tell 
her when she gets up.Giles said well a representative of the 
insurance company she had her car insured with called and would like 
to see her today.Buffy said did she leave her name and phone 
number.Giles said yes and they are on the refrigerator.Buffy said ok 
and then she said is that all Giles.Giles said yes thats all and 
Buffy said good now i am going back to sleep.Buffy shut the door and 
locked it before heading back to bed.

As Buffy was approaching the bed she saw that Willow's eyes were 
open and she was propped up on her side watching her.Buffy said I'm 
sorry i didnt mean to wake you up i tried to keep the convesation 
quiet.Willow smiled and she said i wasnt awakened by you and Giles 
talking i was awakened by the loss of you not being with me.Buffy 
said lets get some more sleep but Willow said i cant i have to meet 
with Grady at noon today if you have forgotten.Buffy said damn your 
right and then she said and there is also a represenative of your 
insurance company who wants to meet with you today as well.Willow 
said who told you that and Buffy said it was Giles he just told me a 
few minutes ago.Willow said well i had better go take a shower and 
get ready for my meeting with Grady and the insurance 
represenative.Buffy said why dont you have them both meet you at the 
Bronze one after another.Willow said thats a good idea but there is a 
problem with it.Buffy said whats the problem and Willow said the 
bronze doesnt open until six pm now that Caleb owns it.Buffy said 
damn your right.Buffy said but how are you going to meet Grady there 
if its closed.Willow said we will meet in the parking lot of 
course.Buffy said hey you could arrange to meet the insurance 
representative tonight at the bronze after it opens.Willow said yes i 
could do that but what about our patrol.Buffy said we dont have to 
patrol every night and it has been pretty quiet the past couple of 
nights.

Willow got up off the bed and put on her robe before going into the 
closed to select which outfit she would wear today.Buffy joined her 
in the closet and she said what outfit are you going to wear 
today.Willow said i think i will wear my blue skirt and the white 
blouse.Buffy said thats a good choice and then she said do you want 
me to come along when you meet Grady.Willow said yes if you dont mind 
because i dont feel safe carrying two million dollars around with me 
by myself.Buffy said hell no one would feel safe doing that.

About eleven thirty Buffy and Willow walked out of the house 
carrying a suitcase that contained the two million dollars.Buffy said 
Willow did you contact the insurance represenative and Willow said 
yes i did and she agreed to meet me at the Bronze about seven 
o'clock.Buffy said which vechicle do you want to take today.Buffy 
said well your mother took the montana again and Amy and Tara took 
the humvee so why dont we take your mom's car and leave the landrover 
for Anya if she needs to go off someplace.Buffy said good idea and 
then she said hey Willow why dont we go to the mall and look at some 
of the new fashions in clothes.Willow said that sounds like a good 
idea to me and i am glad that i filled up my wallet while we were 
putting money in the suitcase.

When they were pulling into the bronze's parking lot they saw Grady 
sitting on the hood of his car waiting for them.Buffy drove the car 
right up in front of Grady's car and stopped it in front of it.Willow 
rolled down the window and she said hi Grady.Grady looked at Willow 
and he said Willow why did you want to meet here its closed.Willow 
said because it is closed and then she said here is the money and she 
stuck the suitcase halfway out of the window.Grady slid off the hood 
of his car and he walked over to the car.Grady reached for the car 
but stopped before taking hold of it.Grady said before i take the 
money i want to know what you plan to do with the armed 
hovercraft.Willow said well we dont have any plans to use it right 
now thats why you are going to hold it until we do.Grady said i dont 
know what you guys need an armed hovercraft for.Buffy said well 
hopefully we wont and the reason we are buying it is to keep it out 
of the hands of anyone else.Grady looked at Willow shocked at hearing 
this and he said what are you guys going to do with it after you have 
used it.Willow said well we will probably contact some people we know 
with the LWU and arrange for them to pick it up.Grady said LWU and 
Buffy said it stands for Law Watch Unit and we know they can be 
trusted.Grady took the money and he said well i will be waiting for 
your call and then he headed for the driver's side of his car.

As they were heading for the mall Willow said lets get something to 
eat at the mall.Buffy said ok but what are you in the mood for.Willow 
thought a second and she said how about Olive Garden i am in the mood 
for some spaghetti and they have some of the best garlic rolls i have 
ever had.Buffy said ok but lets do some looking around first i am not 
really hungry enough to eat a big meal and i always eat a big meal 
when i go there.Willow said ok but what stores do you want to check 
out first.Buffy said none paticular and a sly grin appeared on her 
face.Willow saw the look on Buffy's face and she said Buffy i dont 
believe you for a second.Buffy said ok ok i want to stop at Silke's 
and see what new items they have.Willow said ok you can go to Silke's 
while i go to Musicland and see what new cds or tapes they have out.
