Thank you for the kind words, and your questions show your paying
attention.<g> 

First of all you're right; Why would Giles suddenly become a coward and
order someone else to do his dirty work and why murder?

Second, why would you doubt that a monk would murder? They have before,
in fact history tells us that monks have been some of the most vicious
and zealous of all history's killers. Their defence has always been "I
did it for God" and it's always worked. Why would that change now?
