Buffy parked the car on the east side of the mall near the entrance 
to Marshall's. As they were walking toward the entrance to 
Marshall's Buffy said come on Willow lets go to Silke's together we 
can stop at musicland later on.Willow looked at Buffy and she said ok 
i will go with you to Silke's on two conditions.Buffy said whats the 
conditions.Willow said the conditions are one that you dont try to 
talk me into getting anything from there that i dont want on my 
own.Buffy said ok i agree with that now whats the second 
condition.Willow said the second condition is that we go to a store 
that i want to stop by first before hitting any of the other 
stores.Buffy said Willow you know i dont like going to Stuarts so why 
dont i wait for you at Silke's or something.Willow said i am not 
talking about Stuarts or any other clothing store.Buffy said then 
where do you want to go.Willow said Buffy you will find out when we 
get there but first you must agree to go there.Buffy said ok i agree 
to go with you where ever you want as long as its not Stuarts or any 
store that sells the same type of clothes.

They walked through Marshalls heading for the mallside entrance but 
on the way they looked at some of the clothes that caught their 
attention.Upon reaching the mallside entrance of Marshalls Buffy said 
well where are we going.Willow said you will see when we get there 
and she said come on its this way and she started walking.Buffy 
followed Willow and a few minutes later Willow stopped in front of 
Garrett's fine jewelry and she pushed the entrance button because the 
front door was kept locked.Buffy said Willow what are we going here 
for and Willow said i just want to look around at some of their 
jewelry.Buffy said but Willow you have never really been into jewelry 
for as long as i have known you.Willow said thats mostly true but i 
am looking for something special.Willow opened the door after the 
buzzer buzzed and she and Buffy walked into the store.A clerk walked 
up to them and he said how can i be of assistance.Buffy said we are 
just browzing and the clerk said i am sorry but one does not come to 
Garrett's to browze that is done at other jewelry stores but not here 
so i am afraid you must leave.Willow said i would like to see some of 
the rings you have.The clerk looked at Willow and he said Miss maybe 
you didnt hear me i said you both must leave since one does not 
browze here.The next second Mr.Garrett the owner of the jewelry store 
said Mr.Olson what do you think you are doing.Mr.Olson said sir they 
just came here to browze.Mr.Garrett said Mr.Olson most people do 
browze for items thats how they find things they want.Mr.Olson said 
but they can do that at other shops not at a fine jewelry store like 
this one.Mr.Garrett said Mr.Olson please go wait for me in my office 
we will finish this discussion in a few minutes after i have assisted 
these two young ladies.Mr.Olson said yes sir and he headed for 
Mr.Garrett's office.Mr.Garrett looked at Buffy and Willow and said 
please excuse Mr.Olson he just transferred here from the store in 
Beverly Hills and i am afraid he is accustomed to the customers that 
ussually visit that store.Willow said you have a store in Beverly 
Hills Mr.Garrett.Mr.Garrett said yes i do Willow although i am afraid 
to say that i have been somewhat negligent in seeing to how it was 
being ran over the past few years but i have started changing 
that.Buffy said Willow you know Mr.Garrett and Willow said yes he is 
an old friend of the family.Mr.Garrett said yes i have known Willow 
since she was just a baby.

Mr.Garrett said how can i be of assistance and Willow said i would 
like to see some of the rings you have for sale.Mr.Garrett said if i 
remeber correctly your parents mentioned to me that your in college 
so you want a class ring correct.Willow said i am in college 
Mr.Garrett but i am not here looking for a class ring i am just 
looking for a ring.Mr.Garrett said Willow i dont mean to be rude or 
inhospitable but the rings i have here are pretty expensive and the 
class rings are the cheapest i carry.Willow said dont worry 
Mr.Garrett i am more than able to buy the ring i want once i see 
it.Buffy said Willow why do you want to buy a ring and Willow said 
thats for me to know and for you to find out.Mr.Garrett said follow 
me and he led them over to a display case that was full of 
rings.Mr.Garrett said most of these rings are 18 karat gold with 
either diamonds,rubies,or emeralds in them so they will be more than 
out of your price range Willow unless you have gotten some money from 
your parents.Willow looked at Mr.Garrett and she said i have no need 
of any money from my parents Mr.Garrett i have more than enough of my 
own.Mr.Garrett said well can you at least give me an idea of what 
type of ring your looking for.Willow said i want one thats special 
because i want to give it to someone i really care about.Buffy was 
shocked and Mr.Garrett said ok follow me i think i have just what 
your looking for.Buffy and Willow followed him two display cases down 
and he said take a look at these they are quite beautifull.Willow 
looked down at the rings and she immedietly knew that they were all 
wrong.Willow said Mr.Garrett do you have any celtic type rings and 
Mr.Garrett said yes i do but i doubt that a young man would like such 
a ring.Willow said well i just want to look at them because i want 
something really special for my love.

A few minutes later Willow said i am sorry Mr.Garrett but none of 
the rings you have shown me yet are what i am looking for.Mr.Garrett 
said well i have shown you almost all the types of rings i have 
except for engagement,wedding,and class rings.Willow said well could 
i take a look at the engagement rings.Mr.Garrett said of course with 
a grin on his face and then he said follow me.

Mr.Garrett led them over to a display case on the other side of the 
store and he said there are numerous engagement rings in these three 
display cases.Willow looked into the first display cases and she 
liked several of them but they werent what she wanted to give to 
Buffy.Willow looked down to the second display case and halfway 
through it she found the perfect ring to give Buffy.Willow looked up 
at Mr.Garrett and she said i would like to see that one and she 
pointed down to it.Mr.Garrett looked at the ring she was pointing at 
and then he took it out of the case.Mr.Garrett looked at the ring and 
then he handed it to Willow.Willow looked at the ring and she said 
what size is it and Mr.Garrett told her the size.Willow looked over 
at Buffy who was right beside her and Buffy whispered Willow its two 
sizes too small for me.Willow looked back at the ring and then she 
said Mr.Garrett do you have another ring exactly like this but two 
sizes larger.Mr.Garrett said no i am afraid i dont I'm sorry.Willow 
handed the ring back to him and said well i guess i will just have to 
keep looking.Mr.Garrett was putting the ring back in the display case 
when he remebered that he had several other rings that were created 
by the same jewelist who had created it.Mr.Garrett said Willow wait i 
dont have a ring like this two sizes larger but i do have a couple 
other rings that were made by the same jewelist who made that 
one.Mr.Garrett showed them to the display case that the rings were in 
and he said they are over here and he pointed at them.Willow looked 
at the rings and she said let me see those there and she pointed at 
two rings that were side by side.Mr.Garrett removed them from the 
display case and he handed them to Willow.Willow looked at the rings 
and she said are they gold and Mr.Garrett said yes they are 18 karat 
black hills gold which is why the color of them is a bit different 
from the other gold rings we have.Willow said what sizes are they and 
Mr.Garrett took them and then he told them the sizes of the 
rings.Buffy said Willow they are going to be real expensive and 
Willow said i know but what do you think about them.Buffy said may i 
look at them and she was handed them.Buffy looked at the rings and 
she said they look perfect but there is one thing missing.Mr.Garrett 
said whats missing and Buffy said they are missing some words 
engraved on the inside of the ring.Mr.Garrett looked at both Buffy 
and Willow and he said i take it you two want these rings.Buffy 
looked at Willow for a second and then she turned to face Mr.Garrett 
and said yes sir you do.Mr.Garrett said before i ring them up i must 
tell you that they will cost about nine thousand dollars together 
because Black Hills Gold is a bit more expensive than regular 
gold.Willow said price is not a problem as long as you take platinum 
and she dropped her platinum american express card on top of the 
display counter.Mr.Garrett picked it up and he checked the name on it 
to make sure Willow wasnt using her parents credit card.Mr.Garrett 
said Willow how did you get such a card like this and Willow said i 
got it after i sold some computer programs and deposited the money 
into a bank account.Mr.Garrett looked at the credit card and then he 
saw the date it had been issued.Mr.Garrett said Willow this card is 
over nine years old.Willow said yes it is but it is still good which 
you can check by calling my bank before using my credit 
card.Mr.Garrett said normally i wouldnt because i am a good friend of 
your family but these rings are quite expensive and you seem to be 
willing to have me check.Willow said of course i am you are a friend 
of the family and i dont want to cause problems for you or your 
bussiness.Mr.Garrett said i will be back in a few minutes and then he 
picked up the two rings and headed over to where a phone 
was.Mr.Garrett walked back over to them after checking with the bank 
Willow had an account with to make sure the card was still 
good.Mr.Garrett said you mentioned some words you wanted engraved on 
the inside of the rings do you still want to do that.Buffy said yes 
and she said have them engraved with to love to death do us 
part.Mr.Garrett said thats a strange phrase to have engraved and 
Willow said yes it is but it is quite fitting none the 
less.Mr.Garrett said ok i will have them quickly engraved while i 
ring up your purchase and then he walked away

Twelve minutes later Mr.Garrett walked back over to them.Mr.Garrett 
handed Willow her platinum american express card and then he placed a 
piece of paper on the top of the display case and said please sign 
it.Willow signed the piece of paper and then Mr.Garrett handed her 
the bag that contained the two rings and the boxes they were inside 
of.Willow said well i hope to see you soon Mr.Garrtt and then she and 
Buffy walked out of the store.

Outside of the store Buffy said Willow lets put on our rings and 
Willow said ok and she opened the bag.Buffy reached in and pulled out 
both of the ring boxes.Buffy opened the ring boxes up and then she 
this is your ring so she handed the box containing the other ring to 
Willow.Willow said lets go sit down on that seat before we do it and 
Buffy said good idea.They walked over to the seat and sat down on 
it.Buffy pulled the ring out of the box she was holding and Willow 
did the same.Willow and Buffy took a hold of one of the others hand 
and they slid the rings onto the finger that engagement rings was 
supposed to go on.Buffy reached out with her hand that had the ring 
on it and took hold of Willow's hand that had an identical ring to it 
on it.Buffy said i love you Willow and Willow said i love you as well 
and then she leaned forwared and kissed Buffy.Buffy wrapped her arms 
around Willow and she deepened the passion of the kiss until they had 
to break it from lack of air.

After catching their breaths Willow said i think we had better be 
hitting some of the clothing stores because we have to be at the 
Bronze soon after it opens tonight.Buffy said your right and then she 
stood up.Buffy held out her hand and Willow placed her hand in it and 
then let Buffy help her to her feet.Willow asked Buffy which store 
she wanted to go to first and Buffy said lets go to Carmen's i heard 
from Cordelia that they had a whole new line of clothes that were 
first shown at a fashion show in Europe.

For the next three and a half hours Willow and Buffy went from one 
clothing store to another looking at the clothes they had.They bought 
a number of clothes from some of the stores and all the while they 
had stayed side by side holding the others hand.About four thirty 
Willow looked at her watch and she said Buffy its about four thirty 
so we had better head to Silke's and then call this shopping trip to 
an end because we need to eat and then head home to change for 
tonight.Buffy said good idea and then said come one lets head for 
Silke's and they headed toward it.

When they entered Silke's lingerie shop they were approached by 
Chandra who was wearing a very tighting fitting leather bodysuit that 
was completely black.Willow had to take a second look at her because 
black makeup under her eyebrows and her hair was colored scarlett red 
and braided at the bottom of her hair.Willow started to take a step 
back when Buffy looked at her and said come on lets take a look 
around.Willow started to follow Buffy into the store but then she saw 
a bathingsuit that was on a manequin and she headed toward it.Buffy 
saw Willow walk away from her and she started following her.Buffy was 
surprised to find Willow looking at bathing suits and she said Willow 
you already have a bathing suit.Willow said i know but its old and 
anyway i am not exactly looking for me.Buffy looked at the bathing 
suit Willow was looking at and she said oh no your not getting me in 
that thing.Willow looked at Buffy and she said i wasnt even 
considering getting it for you i was thinking about how Oz would feel 
finding Amy and Tara in bathing suits like this out at the pond when 
he gets back.Buffy looked at Willow and she said oh thats a good idea 
but why werent you even considering on getting one for me.Willow 
leaned forward and she said because neither of need one when we go to 
the pond.Buffy blushed and she said Willow.Willow smiled and she said 
well its true and Buffy said thats not the point.Willow said maybe 
your right maybe we should get some bathing suits because we can go 
to the beach and public pools.Buffy thought a minute and she said 
your right of course so lets see what bathing suits they have here.
