Later that afternoon after Cordelia and the others had gotten back 
from Los Angeles Giles called everyone up to the conference room.Once 
everyone was seated Giles said me and the others have been discussing 
on what we should do and how it should be done all morning.Giles 
continued by saying we have a pretty well rough draft of a plan 
worked out and we want you guys to listen to it and then give us your 
imput on it.Giles said i am going to turn this over to Xena because 
she is definitely the best strategist among us and then he sat 
down.Xena stood up and she said Alcatraz is an island with a prison 
on it and Spike and his group could be anywhere on it so we are going 
to have to move in carefully and spread out to search the whole 
island.Willow said that might not be neccessary.Xena cut her off in 
mid speech and said of course it is how else are we going to find 
your parents and Buffy's father.Gabrielle said Xena i believe she has 
a suggestion and we should let her tell us if she does.Xena said I'm 
sorry Willow its just been a long time since i have ever worked on a 
strategy to save the lives of people.Willow said i understand Xena 
and i do have a suggestion on how to find out exactly where Spike's 
group are holding my parents and Buffy's father at.Joe said and how 
do we do that.Willow said we do not,i do.Joyce said how can you do 
that Willow.Amy said Willow I am sorry to say it but dont count on 
using magic to find them because me and Tara already tried to vision 
them earlier today but there is a barrier around Alcatraz that our 
magic couldnt get through.Cassandra said did this barrier just keep 
you from seeing what was happening on Alcatraz or did it absorb the 
magical energy from the spell you were using.Tara said it kept us 
from seeing what was happening.Cassandra said good that means that we 
will still be able to use magic once we get on the island.Willow said 
well i wasnt talking about using magic to find them i was talking 
about using a satelite to find them.Richie said huh and Giles said 
Willow can you do that and Willow said yes it will be quite easy for 
me especially since the goverment has all their computers protected 
by my NSP programs and they wont even know i was in their 
computers.Joe looked at Cassandra and he said i thought she was a 
wiccan not a hacker.Willow looked at Joe and she said there is 
nothing saying that a wiccan cant have other interests besides magic 
Mr.Dawson and i was a hacker as you so elligentally stated it long 
before i was a wiccan.Xena said how soon can you get do it and Willow 
said i could do it right now but it might be better to wait until 
tonight because they might not be there right now.Gabrielle said 
Willow is probably right they will most likely go to Alcatraz tonight 
so they will be in position tommorrow evening.Xena said well knowing 
exactly where your parents and Buffy's father is will make it 
somewhat easier on us but it is still going to be hard to get them 
back.Giles said she is right there are only twenty two of us.Xena 
said yes but only twenty of us will be going.Everybody looked at Xena 
and Giles said but Xena we need everyone we can get if we are going 
to be successfull.Xena said we need people who are able to go with us 
and neither Joe or Duncan are up to this.Joe and Duncan both jumped 
out of their seats and started arguing with Xena.Amanda put her hand 
on Duncan's shoulder and she said Duncan you are still not fully 
recovered from losing the three quickenings so it is best that you 
stay.Methos tapped Joe on the shoulder and he said Joe this is going 
to be just as dangerous as it was in the jungles of vietnam and if 
you will be honest with yourself you will know you are not fit for 
that kind of action.Joe looked at Methos and he said damn and then 
got up from the conference table and walked out.Duncan got up and 
said i will go keep him company and he followed Joe downstairs.

Xena watched them go and then she said well now that the bad news 
has been given i will give you the good news.Xena said me and 
Gabrielle have been in contact with several kindred vampires and a 
nightwalker as well who were part of the group who trapped Norglath 
in the cave and they are on their way to help us.Giles said exactly 
how many are coming and Gabrielle said about five of them that was 
all that we could get a hold of who were willing to help us out.Joyce 
said so there will be twenty five of us going.Buffy said actually 
twenty six because i had Cordelia call Faith for help.Giles looked at 
Buffy and he said you didnt ask the legacy for help did you and 
Cordelia said no we only asked Faith and she said she would be at the 
place we arranged to meet.Giles said why didnt you have her come here 
and Buffy said because Spike or Wolfram and Hart might have someone 
watching the house and i want to keep Faith's assistance to be a 
secret for as long as possible.Tara said ok there will be twenty six 
of us.Anya said actually there will be twenty eight because i 
contacted a couple of old friends who really have it in for Ahriman 
and have just been waiting for a chance to get even with him.Giles 
looked at Anya and said i guess its safe to say that they are some of 
your old demon friends.Anya said yes they are but you guys dont have 
to worry they want to get a hold of Ahriman worse than anything so 
they will work with us.Gabrielle said when can we expect them to 
arrive Anya.Anya said i will have to call them once we get face to 
face with Spike's group so that Ahriman doesnt have a chance to make 
a run for it.Xena said well now that we know how many will be going 
with us or assisting us we need to figure out how we are going to get 
to the island.Richie said we could go by boat and Xena said yes but 
the shorelines will surely be patrolled by vampires or demons so they 
will see us coming before we get even close to shore.Willow said 
maybe not and then she turned to Buffy and she said Buffy i think 
that there is a way that the Halliwell sisters could help us after 
all.Buffy said how and Willow said they could use their magic to 
create a thick fog bank which could engulf the island Alcatraz.Giles 
said Willow when did you meet the Halliwell sisters and Joyce said we 
met them the day Willow and Buffy joined me at the auction after we 
had learned to shoot the guns.Xena said can you contact them and ask 
them to do it.Willow said yes i can one of them gave me their phone 
number in case we ever needed their help.Methos said a fogbank would 
definitely come in handy to mask our approach of the island.Xena said 
yes it would but they would know it was supposed to do that so they 
would increase the number of vampires and demons patrolling the 
island.Nick said how about we launch a two pronged attack that should 
catch them unaware.Xena said we are going to have a hard enough time 
getting one vechicle near the island without them seeing two would be 
almost impossible.Nick said not if one of them was a helicopter which 
we could land right here and he pointed to a large open spot on the 
island.Giles said before we go any further may i ask if anyone knows 
how to fly a helicopter.Xena said both me and Gabrielle know how to 
fly helicopters and Gabrielle said actually we know how to drive or 
pilot almost every vechicle on the planet with the exception of the 
space shuttle and nuclear submarines.Xena said a two pronged attack 
would be good we could take out some of the vampires or demons who 
were sent to back up those already on patrol.Joyce said but how will 
the others get out to the island they dont have any tours at night 
and we dont have a boat to use to get there.Giles said we will just 
have to rent one and Xander said thats not neccessary Giles we have 
the means of getting to the island already.Everybody in the room but 
Anya,Gunn,Cordelia,Buffy,and Willow all looked at him and Giles said 
no we dont.Xander looked at Buffy and Willow and he said you didnt 
tell them and Willow shook her head and said and we were hoping to 
wait until tommorrow before they found out about it.Giles said find 
out about what but Joyce looked at Buffy and she said Buffy dont tell 
me she did.Buffy smiled and said sorry mom but she did and then she 
got serious look on her face and she did it for a very good 
reason.Joyce said what is this very good reason that explains why you 
bought the armed hovercraft.Willow said because of the weapons it is 
armed with.Giles said Willow you bought the armed hovercraft and 
Willow said yes i did and i dont regret it for a second even though 
we wont have it after we use it to get back to shore from 
Alcatraz.Joyce said what do you mean Willow.Buffy said we are going 
to contact the LWU and arrange for them to take custody of it.Giles 
said what i want to know is why you bought it Willow.Willow said i 
bought it to keep anyone else from getting their hands on it 
especially with the weapons its equipped with.Xena said what weapons 
does it have.Buffy said several different calliber guns,rocket 
launchers,and a diamnond and ruby laser.Everybody was shocked by this 
bit of news and Joyce said where the hell did you get the hovercraft 
from.Willow said i bought it from Grady and i have no idea of where 
he got it from.Joyce said i see that you had a good reason for buying 
it Willow but you should have told us about it and the weapons it had 
before now and Giles said Joyce is absolutely right.Gabrielle said 
well Xena what do you think.Xena said well the hovercraft will 
definitely get you guys to the island so all we need is a helicopter 
to transport some of us to the island so we will have a two pronged 
attack.Willow said i am afraid that Grady doesnt deal in helicopters 
or planes he only deals in vechicles that can go on land and 
water.Xena said thats no problem we have just the helicopter for the 
job up in Oregon and we can have someone fly it down to us 
tonight.Methos said there is still one question that no one has 
brought up and that is how are we supposed to take on what will 
surely be a large number of vampires or demons.Giles said thats 
simple we will use the guns we have on hand to take them down.Xena 
said guns and Richie said yes they have some wooden bullets for 
9mm,44 magnum,and other ammo as well.Xena said do you have enough 
guns for all of us.Giles said no not really but we can get some more 
before tommorrow night.Xena said please do because we will need 
them.Xander said actually we already have some more guns that Giles 
isnt aware of.Giles looked at Xander and he said you went back to Los 
Angeles didnt you and Xander said yes but Buffy put me,Anya,Gunn,and 
Cordelia up to it.Joyce said yes she did but she only sent you for 
ammo if i remeber correctly.Willow said yes she did but Cordelia 
called me while they were there and i said it was ok to get some more 
guns.Gunn said plus a couple other things.Methos said exactly what 
are the other things.Cordelia said oh three bazookas with twelve 
shells for each and ten hyperion rockets for the hovercraft's rocket 
launcher.Joyce said Willow dont you think that was overkill and 
Willow said no i dont because if we face the iron Golem i want us to 
be equipped with enough stuff to take him down.Xena said i agree with 
her its better to be over equipped than to be under equipped.Giles 
looked at Xander and said what kind of guns did you get this time and 
Anya said the same kind of gun that Gunn brought with him from Los 
Angeles.Amy said Anya are you talking about the gatlin gun and Anya 
said yes we got fifteen of them and thirty one ammo packs too.Giles 
said fifteen gatlin guns and then he looked at Willow and said what 
are we going to do with fifteen gatlin guns.Willow said i thought 
that almost all of us should have one that way there would be no 
chance that Spike and the others would stand a chance.Gabrielle said 
Willow i dont mean this as an insult but i doubt that you or most of 
the other ladies in your group could handle a gatlin gun.Buffy said 
well Cordelia,Amy,Tara,Willow,and my mother might not be able to 
handle a gatlin gun but me,Xander,Angel,Gunn,and Faith surely can and 
that leave eleven more for you and the others to divide among 
yourselves.Xander said Buffy actually i dont think i can handle a 
gatlin gun so i will stick with my m-60.Buffy said ok you will have 
twelve to divide.Connor said hold on you counted four of you 
excluding Xander but you said you only need three gatlin guns.Gunn 
said i already have a gatlin gun thats why we only need three.Willow 
thought of something and she said Gunn i need you to call Kendall 
because i need to add a couple things to the list of what we are 
getting.Giles said Willow we have enough and Willow said no we dont 
Giles and i think that Xena and the others will agree with me.Xena 
said what else do we need that you dont have or havent already 
ordered.Willow said well for one thing kevlar armored longcoats for 
all of you to protect you from bullets.Gabrielle said she had a good 
point there and Xena said she sure does none of the vampires coming 
to help us out will be happy if they run the risk of getting shot 
with wooden bullets.Giles said is that all you are going to order and 
Willow said no i am going to get about a dozen more pistols in both 
9mm glock and 44 automag and a few more things that might come in 
handy.Giles said ok go ahead and order the items you think we will 
need.Gabrielle said i will go with them and she,Gunn,and Willow 
walked out of the conference room.
