Leonard said is Willow the redhead wiccan that patrols with the 
slayer regularly.Xena said yes thats Willow.Jeannette said Dragon you 
have lived in Sunnydale is what they say about the slayer and her 
friend true.Leonard said well i cant say whether or not they are 
immortal but i have to agree with them that they can be trusted after 
what i have seen them do or heard of what they did from other 
vampires and demons.Daedalaus said what things have they done.Leonard 
said well a couple weeks ago a demon named Kristos was shot in the 
groin by the slayer after he threatened her and her friend after they 
walked into Willie's bar.Gabrielle said why would a demon just 
threaten them right off.Leonard said well Willie's bar up until 
Kristos started working there was a place where you could get almost 
any information you wanted but Kristos put a stop to that.Jeannette 
said so this demon was shot because he tried to stop the slayer from 
getting some information.Leonard said no like i said previously he 
was shot because he threatened the slayer and her friend.Xena said 
what happened to Kristos.Leonard said well when the slayer and her 
friend found out that Willie had hired Kristos to protect the bar and 
stop it from being a source of information it changed their outlook 
on the situation.Daedalaus said what do you mean.Leonard said well 
Willow used her magic to remove the bullet and completely healed 
Kristos only asking him of one thing before doing it.Jeannette said 
she wanted the bar to still be a source of information for the group 
right.Leonard said no on the contrary she and the slayer agreed with 
what Willie and Kristos were doing and they havent gone back to the 
bar for information since then.Daedalus said well what did the 
slayer's friend ask of this Kristos.Leonard said she asked him to 
protect Willie as best he could without throwing his life away 
needlessly and if he needed help to call on them.Jeannette said are 
you sure of this and Leonard said yes i was there that night when it 
happened.Jeannette said oh i must tell my father about this he will 
be quite intrigued about the slayer and her friend after hearing all 
this.Xena said Jeannette said i dont think it is a good idea to tell 
the general about this at least not right now.Jeannette said why not 
he is my sire he can be trusted.Gabrielle said no he cant because 
about two thousand years ago before he turned you he tried to turn an 
immortal woman who he knew good and well was an immortal.Daedalaus 
said if that is true it is best that he does not find out about 
them.Xena said yes especially since they are newly immortal and have 
yet to recieve the training they will need to survive.

About and hour and a half after leaving sunnydale Giles and the 
others arrived at the warehouse that the hovercraft was stored in.As 
they were climbing out of the vehicles Xander saw the truck that had 
been in front of Kendall's warehouse.Xander said it looks like Gunn 
has already arrived with the items we got from Kendall.The next 
second Gunn said boy am i glad to see you guys because we have a lot 
of work to do if we are going to head for Alcatraz around dusk 
tonight.Giles said dont tell me that the hovercraft needs repairs 
before we can use it.Gunn said no it doesnt need any repairs thank 
goodness because arming all the hovercraft's weaponry and getting 
most of the other stuff aboard it is going to take several hours at 
least.Willow said Gunn after we get the items we will be using aboard 
the hovercraft or loading aboard it I need you to take the rest of 
the stuff to the address written on this piece of paper.Gunn said ok 
but I have some bad news and several bits of good news.Giles said 
whats the bad news.Gunn said Kendall didnt have one of the items that 
we ordered in stock.Xander said which item did he not have.Gunn said 
the three bazookas and the three dozen shells for them.Gunn said but 
one of the bits of good news is that he sent three law 80 rocket 
launchers and three dozen shells in place of the bazookas.Giles 
looked at Willow and said did you order the bazookas and Willow said 
yes but it was Gunn and Xander's idea as Cordelia and Anya can 
testify.Cordelia said Giles they thought we might run into the iron 
golem somewhere away from the hovercraft and they wanted something 
which stood a good chance of taking it down.Willow said Giles please 
dont look at me like that at least i stopped them from getting the 
mortars they wanted.Gunn grinned and he said yes but who was it that 
ordered the eight minature homing torpedoes,the two hades bombs,and 
the cluster bomb last night along with the guns and kevlar armored 
longcoats.Everybody looked at Willow and Buffy said Willow tell me 
you didnt and Willow said i cant because i did and i had a good 
reason for doing so as well.Giles looked at Gunn and said Gunn why 
didnt you stop her you were there with her.Gunn said i started to but 
stopped after hearing the reasons she wanted the items.Joyce said 
Willow why did you want those items.Willow said the hovercraft has a 
minature torpedo launcher and thats why i ordered the torpedoes.Amy 
said what about the bombs why did you get them.Willow said i got them 
so that Xena and her group would have something they could drop one 
of the bombs if they needed to take care of a group of vampires or 
something before they can land the helicopter.Xander said guys what 
Willow says could possibly happen and it will be definitely safer for 
Xena's group if their helicopter is armed.Giles said you were 
thinking wisely Willow but from now on please lets discuss getting 
any more weaponry before we actually do that.Willow said sure and 
then she smiled and said well i am glad that i aint the one who has 
to explain about the rockets.Joyce said Willow why do we need another 
explanation for the law 80 rocket launchers Cordelia already told us 
the reason about them.Willow turned away from Joyce and Anya said i 
dont think she is talking about the law 80 rockets she is more likely 
talking about those ten hyperion rockets that Buffy wanted for the 
hovercraft's rocket launcher.Joyce and Giles both looked at Buffy and 
Joyce said Buffy why in the hell did you get us ten rockets.Buffy 
said just in case Spike and the others have something set up on the 
hills to blow us out of the water.Giles looked at Willow and said are 
you sure that this thing is a hovercraft and not really a battleship 
because thats exactly what it sounds like because of all the weaponry 
it has.Gunn said oh it is a hovercraft but its the size of a small 
coastguard cutter.Willow looked at Gunn and said its that big and 
Gunn said yes it is.Giles said Gunn what were the other bits of good 
news.Gunn said Kendall sent us over six dozen of the latest 
blacksuits thats used by the millitary,twenty more of the tebyr 
electronic night vision gas mask combos,a bunch of web belts,and a 
large number of different types of holsters for 9mm and 44 automags.
Xander said well those things will definitely come in handy and Nick 
Wolf said yes it will.

Buffy said come on lets unload the stuff thats going aboard the 
hovercraft.Gunn led them over to the back of the truck and he used a 
key that Kendall had given him to unlock the lock which secured the 
truck.Gunn and Xander opened the doors and and locked them in place 
on the sides of the truck.Buffy looked into the truck and she said i 
suggest we move the heaviest items aboard the hovercraft first.Giles 
said well those rockets are definitely the heaviest items.It took 
them forty minutes to unload the rockets and carry them to the 
hovercraft.They positioned the rockets in either the rocket launchers 
or in the feed magazine for the rocket launchers.After placing the 
rockets they went and got the ammo for the different types of 
guns.Once the ammo was aboard the boat Xander and Gunn started 
loading the ammo into the ammo compartments while the others went 
back to the truck for the minature homing torpedoes.

An hour and twenty minutes later they had all the items that were 
going aboard the hovercraft either in place in the compartments that 
fed the different weaponry systems or in a room aboard the 
hovercraft.Gunn walked up to Giles after locking the back of the 
truck and he said Giles i need someone to follow me over to where i 
am supposed to leave the truck so Xena's group can get their stuff 
out of it.Giles looked around and he spotted Joyce and Cordelia about 
to enter the warehouse.Giles called out to Cordelia and motioned for 
her to come over when she looked at him.When Cordelia got over to 
Gunn and Giles he told her that he needed her to follow Gunn 
somewhere and bring him right back since he would be leaving the 
truck there.Cordelia said ok but i will need the keys to one of the 
vechicles.Giles reached into his pocket and he pulled out the keys to 
the landrover and gave them to her.Gunn said come on and then he ran 
for the truck and Cordelia headed for the landrover.

When Joyce walked into the warehouse she was expecting to find 
Buffy and the others sitting down somewhere resting but she didnt see 
them anywhere.Joyce headed for the gangplank and she walked aboard a 
minute later.Joyce walked toward the front of the hovercraft and she 
heard Xander's voice as she approached a door that was open.Joyce 
walked through the door and she saw Buffy and the others sitting 
around the room at different consols and they were reading different 
colored pamplets.Joyce said what are you guys doing.Buffy removed the 
visor she had over her eyes and she said are learning how the work 
the different control systems for the hovercraft.

Joyce walked between Amy and Tara who were sitting about three feet 
apart and they were manning two different consols.Joyce said what are 
these consols for.Amy said this one is sonar and i am learning how to 
identify objects that appear on it.Amy said these controls over here 
allow me to fire the minature homing torpedoes or drop depth charges 
but we dont have any depth charges.Joyce said but how do you aim 
them.Amy said oh i do that with this visor and she picked up a visor 
that was on the top of the consol.Joyce turned to Tara and said what 
does this one do.Tara said this one is the radar and i can use that 
visor up there to aim the rockets which i can fire from these 
controls.Xander who was manning the weaponry activation consol along 
with Anya said hey if you guys can fire the rockets and torpedoes 
then what is this consol supposed to do except control the guns.Anya 
said actually Xander according to this pamplet this consol only 
activates the different weapon systems and brings them out of their 
hidden compartments.Buffy said Xander if you want to shoot some of 
the guns your at the wrong consol because the guns are controlled by 
this one and the other three chairs that are just like it.Joyce 
walked up to Buffy and she said Buffy why are the four chair each 
pointing in a different direction.Buffy said each chair controls the 
guns that are on the side of the hovercraft that the chairs are 
facing.Joyce said that means we are going to need four people to man 
the chairs.Buffy said yes but i believe we will have more than enough 
people to man all the consols when Cassandra and the others 
arrive.Joyce looked around the room and she saw Willow sitting at a 
consol in the back corner of the room.Joyce walked up to Willow and 
she said Willow what does this consol do.Willow said it controls the 
diamond and ruby laser and that reminds me i need to go install the 
diamond and ruby into the laser.Joyce said they arent already in the 
laser.Willow said of course not the ruby and diamond are locked up in 
the safe in that room for safekeeping when not needed.Joyce said go 
ahead and install them and then come back and teach me how to work 
this control pannel.Xander looked back at Willow and said see i told 
you that either Ms.Summers or Giles wouldnt let you work the laser's 
controls.Joyce looked at Xander and she said actually Xander i want 
to learn how to operate the laser because Willow is the most 
technologically wise person we have among us and she may be needed to 
go man another consol and if that happens i will be able to take over 
for her.Before walking out of the cabin Willow said it might be a 
good idea for each of us to learn how to work two different consols 
that way there will definitely be someone who can replace the person 
who has to takeover another consol.
