Oh, I like this. You've created a very interesting concept in the
Slayer/Guardian relationship and their creation to fight Dahok. Also a good
explanation of why the Council always seems to do the worst things possible
despite being sworn to serve the Slayer.

I'm starting to see Joxer in a new light (even if thinking about him and
Gabrielle still kinda squicks me out). And who would have thought that
Gabrielle was a potential Slayer? Wow. Can't wait to see how Xena reacts to
this. And Willow is Kerry Weaver's daughter? Cool. Now that I think about
it, there is a certain familial resemblance.

I like the way you weave one viewpoint into the next while keeping the story
thread going smoothly. I thought I might lose track of what was going on,
jumping from scene to scene, but this really works well.

I think you've got a winner here. Looking forward to Book 2. Especially the
B/W smoochies <g>.
