Joyce walked out of the room and she said Giles you and the others 
can come in we are all dressed.Joyce walked back into the room and 
she saw that Amy was passing out the web belts to the other 
ladies.Joyce was the last of the women to be given a web belt.Tara 
said Buffy can you give me a hand with the lid on this box its nailed 
down too tight for me to get it off.Amanda said whats in the box and 
Cordelia said an assortment of grenades which we might need.Rebecca 
said i think that it might be a good idea for us to let those who 
know how to handle grenades hold onto them.Willow said that is a good 
idea but they might not be able to carry enough grenades so we all 
should at least carry one or two in our web belts.Joyce said i agree 
with Willow and Amanda said so do i.

When Giles and the other men walked into the room they all spread 
out through the room.Joyce saw Connor walk over to the pile of guns 
the ladies have chosen for themselves and she said Connor those guns 
have already been claimed by me and the other ladies.Connor said ok 
and then he walked away from them.Willow said hey i need to know of 
anyone who has served recently in the millitary or in law 
enforcement.Nick Wolfe looked at Willow and said why do you want to 
know that.Willow said because we have several items that i strongly 
believe should be in the hands of someone who knows how to use 
them.Connor said just what exactly are these items that you are 
talking about.Willow said oh an assortment of grenades,two law 80 
rocket launchers,and some c4 and cv38 plastique.Nick said i am an ex 
navy seal and i have been trained to use all of those items.Xander 
said i might not have been actually trained how to use them but i 
still have the memories of the soldier who's uniform i wore that 
halloween so i can shoot the law 80 rockets and throw grenades.Amanda 
said i havent had any millitary training but i do know how to use 
most explosives including both c4 and cv38 plastique.Joyce said well 
as soon as you have armed yourselves with whatever guns you want i 
will show you where the items that Willow mentioned are at.

Willow walked over to the pile of guns that the ladies had created 
and she was about to pull out the 519 sniping rifle when Rebecca 
called both her and Buffy over to where she,Cassandra,and Amanda were 
standing together.When Willow and Buffy got over to the three of them 
Amanda said Buffy Willow although you havent been taught how to fight 
with swords properly we still want you to be armed with your swords 
none the less.Buffy looked at Amanda and she said its a bit late to 
tell us that now Amanda and i am afraid we cant do that because we 
left our swords at home.Amanda said yes you did but we stopped by the 
estate and picked them up for you.Rebecca said here are your swords 
and Rebecca and Cassandra each pulled out one of Buffy and Willow's 
swords and held them out to Buffy and Willow.Buffy and Willow took 
the swords and Willow said excuse me Rebecca but how exactly are we 
supposed to carry our swords around.Amanda said thats not a problem 
we brought you both a belt so you can have them at your side just 
like the rest of us.Amanda handed them each a belt and they put them 
on and then slid the swords under their belts with some guidence from 
Rebecca.

Across the room Nick was filling up his web belt with an assortment 
of grenades when Faith walked up to him.Nick said Faith what do you 
think of your old friends having such weaponry to rely on.Faith said 
i dont really know what to say but i am starting to wonder why most 
of the people i just met today with the exception of Buffy and Willow 
are all armed with a sword.Nick turned around and he looked at all of 
them and he saw that there were a total of eight people with swords 
and two of them were Buffy and Willow.Nick said if i didnt know 
better i would say that the six people you met today are 
immortals.Faith said immortals and Nick said all i know about the 
immortals is that they are a group of people who can be killed but 
they will come right back to life unless their head is cut off from 
the rest of the body.Faith said why do you think they might be some 
of these immortals.Nick said all the immortals either carry swords or 
axes which what they fight with when two of them get together.Faith 
said i doubt that they are immortals if thats true because there are 
six of them and none of them look like they are going to fight any of 
the others.Nick just shrugged and then went back to filling up his 
web belt with grenades.

Joyce said ladies i think we should get our guns and the ladies all 
walked over to the pile of guns and started getting the guns they had 
chosen for themselves.Nick saw Willow pull a 519 sniping rifle from 
the pile and he said hey Willow let me see that rifle.Willow looked 
at him and she said why do you want to see it.Nick said because i am 
quite good with rifles like that one.Willow said sorry Nick but this 
one is mine.Nick walked over to her and said come on Willow let me 
have it i was rated a marksman with a rifle in the police department 
i used to work for.Joyce said Willow let him have the rifle and just 
go choose another one of the guns for yourself.Willow looked at Joyce 
and she said but i am only really good with pistols and rifles like 
this one and this is the only sniping rifle we brought with us.Joyce 
said Willow there are a lot of other guns over there which you can 
use.Willow said here give it to him yourself then and she handed 
Joyce the 519 rifle.Joyce was shocked by this and she watched Willow 
walk over to the assortment of guns that were still leftover after 
being picked over by everyone.Nick said thanks Joyce and he reached 
for the 519 sniping rifle.The next second Buffy grabbed a hold of the 
519 sniping rifle and she said mom what are you doing with Willow's 
sniping rifle.Joyce looked at Buffy and she said i am giving it to 
Nick who is a marksman with a rifle.Buffy looked at her mother and 
she said mom if you give him the 519 sniping rifle she will only have 
the pistols and the steyr aug rifle she chose earlier.Joyce looked at 
Buffy and then she turned to look over toward where the remaining 
guns were and she was absolutely shocked by what she saw.Joyce yelled 
Willow what are you doing.Everyone in the room all turned and looked 
around and they all saw Willow trying to put on one of the ammo packs 
for a gatlin gun.Buffy let go of the rifle and she ran over to 
Willow.Buffy grabbed a hold of Willow's arm and she said Willow what 
do you think you are doing.Willow looked at Buffy and said i am 
arming myself with a gatlin gun since i dont have a sniping rifle at 
least this way i am sure to hit what i shoot at.Buffy said Willow 
this is silly you arent strong enough to carry the ammo pack or shoot 
the gatlin gun much less do both.Giles,Xander,and Joyce all walked up 
to Buffy and Willow and Xander said Buffy is right Willow so take off 
that ammo pack.Willow said ok and she started trying to take the ammo 
pack off.Buffy helped Willow take it off and Buffy placed the ammo 
pack down next to the gatling gun that it was connected to.Giles said 
Willow what ever made you think of arming yourself with a gatlin gun 
when you have the sniping rifle which you are very good with.Willow 
said Giles i dont have a sniping rifle anymore so i need a gun which 
i can use which will at least give me a good chance at hitting what i 
aim at.Giles said Willow what happened to the 519 sniping rifle i saw 
you load it into the humvee personally.Joyce said Giles i gave the 
519 sniping rifle to Nick after he told me and Willow that he was 
ranked a marksman with a rifle by the police force he used to work 
for.Giles said Joyce what were you thinking there are only a few guns 
which Willow is really good with and the only ones we brought with us 
are the pistols and the 519 sniping rifle.Joyce said i know that but 
Nick deserves a rifle he is good with.Giles said normally i would 
agree with you but this time i cant when it leaves Willow almost 
useless.Buffy said Giles my mother already gave Nick the 519 sniping 
rifle and as much as i hate to say it we can go and take it back from 
him so we will have to give Willow another gun which she can use as a 
sniping rifle.Giles said but we dont have anything like that.Buffy 
said yes we do and then she said Xander go over to Gunn and tell him 
to bring that special surprise that Kendall sent along with him this 
morning over here.Joyce and Giles looked at Buffy and Buffy said you 
will understand once you see the surprise and then she realized that 
Willow wasnt with them.Buffy looked around and she didnt see Willow 
anywhere in the room.Buffy said you guys stay here i am going to go 
find Willow and bring her back in here.Buffy walked out of the room 
and she headed for the cabin.

When Buffy walked away from Joyce and Giles Joyce waited until she 
was out of hearing range and she said Giles is it just me or has 
Willow been acting differently all day.Giles said no it isnt you as 
much as i hate to say it but it is perfectly understandable since 
this situation has to be really hard on her.Joyce said i know its 
hard on Buffy as well.Giles said yes it is but its even harder on 
Willow because Buffy has you to help her through this situation but 
Willow doesnt because both of her parents are captives.Joyce said 
damn i never thought of it like this and i damn well should have.

When Buffy walked into the cabin she saw Willow sitting in a chair 
and she walked over to her.Buffy reached out and raised Willow's head 
up so she could look into Willow's eyes.Buffy saw the lines that were 
made by the tears that had run down Willow's face.Buffy leaned 
forward and she hugged Willow and then she said Willow you have to 
hold it together if you want to come with me and the others to 
Alcatraz.Willow wiped the tears from her eyes and she said i will try 
Buffy and Buffy said good and then she kissed Willow.Buffy wiped 
Willow's face making sure to wipe out any sign that she had been 
crying.Buffy said come on lets go get you another gun to replace the 
sniping rifle my mother stupidly took away from you.

When Buffy and Willow walked back into the room where the others 
were Gunn and Xander were standing next to Giles and Joyce and he had 
a gun case in one hand and a ammo case in the other.When Buffy and 
Willow walked up to Joyce and the others Buffy said is that the gun 
you were telling me about earlier.Gunn said yes it is but are you 
sure that you want Willow to have it.Buffy said yes i do because 
Willow needs something she can use and the 519 sniping rifle is no 
longer available to her and then she looked at her mother.Joyce said 
Buffy i did what i thought was best and Buffy said but it wasnt for 
the best as you should definitely be able to see by now mother.Buffy 
turned to face Gunn and she said open it up so i can give it to 
Willow.Gunn unlatched the guncase and then opened it up so that 
Buffy,Willow,Gunn,Joyce,and Giles could all see the gun that was in 
it.Willow looked at the gun and she said that gun looks sort of like 
a barrett 50 calibre.Gunn said actually its a barrett 70 calibre and 
its equipped with a starlight night vision scope.Willow took the gun 
out of the guncase and she said its a bit heavier than what i am used 
to.
