In the Prison Spike and Darla were contacting several of the 
different groups of vampires that they had postioned around the 
island in different areas so that it would be easy to entrap Buffy 
and the others in such a way that they wouldnt stand a chance once 
they arrived on the island.The next second Drusilla walked up to 
Spike and she said Spike the stars are telling me the slayer and her 
group along with several other long lived ones are approaching the 
island.Spike looked up at Drusilla and he said from what direction 
are they coming from.Drusilla said from the south and then she said 
there are others coming as well but they are not traveling by boat 
they are flying.Darla said damn if they got help from the legacy we 
could be facing several squads of the legacy's special force teams 
like we did back at the grove.Drusilla said do not worry grandmere 
there are only two members of the legacy working with the slayer's 
group and one is the dark haired slayer.Spike said damn i wasnt 
expecting Faith to come help Buffy out.Crimson said it doesnt change 
a thing Spike because we have over four hundred and fifty vampires 
spread out all over the island not mentioning our four newest 
members.The Dragonness said Crimson is right but i dont really see 
how she can help us when she cant even remove this fogbank that 
engulfs this island.Catherine Madison jumped up from where she had 
been sitting on the floor and she said i have done everything i can 
possibly do to try to remove this fog bank but i cant because whoever 
is responsible for creating the fogbank is a whole lot more powerfull 
than me.Catherine said if i didnt know any better i would say it was 
more than one person who was responsible for this.Spike thought a 
second and he said damn it could be the work of either Willow,Amy,or 
Tara.Catherine said no it cant be them because the aura of the magic 
holding the fog together and keeping it bound over this island tells 
me that whoever it or they are they are closely related.Darla said we 
had better contact the groups positioned around the shore of the 
island and tell them to get ready.Darla picked up an old military 
radio and she told the groups of vampires around the shore to be on 
the lookout because the slayer's group were approaching the island.

The hovercraft was almost a half mile away from Alcatraz when 
Cordelia said hey guys i am picking up some radio transmissions from 
the island.Nick and the others looked at Cordelia and Nick said patch 
it into the speakers so we can all hear it.Cordelia quickly looked at 
the pamplet's schematic for the communication consol and then she 
flipped a switch.Buffy and the others heard Darla tell the groups of 
vampires near the shore to get ready for their arrival on the 
island.Spike got on the radio and he told all the vampires that they 
werent to kill any of the slayer's group he and the others in charge 
wanted that pleasure for themselves but any of the others with them 
were open game.Nick told Cordelia to switch off the speakers and she 
did so.Nick said damn i dont know how they know that we are 
approaching but they definitely do somehow.Giles said i dont see how 
this changes anything and Nick said are you crazy they know we are 
coming and they have got whoever or whatever they have near the shore 
waiting for us so we will have to come up with a new plan.Cassandra 
said we cant do that because our friends who should be approaching 
the island any time now in the helicopter are expecting us to follow 
the plan we made up no matter what.Giles said she is right Nick and 
Nick said ok we will continue with the plan but i suggest we circle 
around the island and try to take out as many vampires or whatever is 
on that island before we land.Willow said Nick if you will give me a 
few moments i will be able to tell you exactly how many vampires they 
have on the island and whatever else is on it as well.Nick turned to 
Willow and said do it and then he pulled back on the lever that 
controlled the speed of the engines until they were only 
idling.Willow got up from the consol she was sitting at and she 
picked up the tote bag which contained her laptop and cellular 
phone.Willow hooked the laptop to her cellular phone and then she 
used the laptop to connect to one of the computers in her computer 
lab.Willow quickly had the computer execute the instructions she had 
given it earlier in the morning before they left the estate.Two 
minutes later Willow was back in the NSA'S computer network and she 
used it to gain access to one of the orbiting satelites which was 
approaching the California shore from the west.Willow had the 
computer take an ultraviolet picture of Alcatraz.Once she had the 
picture she quickly back out of the NSA'S computer network and said 
Nick i have a picture of the island so we can see what exactly we are 
up against.Nick said Giles take over but dont move us any closer to 
Alcatraz island.Nick ran over to Willow and he looked at the picture 
on the laptop's screen and then looked up at Willow.Nick said Willow 
what exactly is this thing i cant tell anything from it.Willow said 
it is an ultraviolet picture of Alcatraz.Nick said Willow that doesnt 
do us any good we need infarred or zoomed in pictures so we will be 
able to tell us what we are up against.Willow said Nick if you will 
give me a chance i will tell you exactly what we are up against by 
looking at this picture.Nick looked at Willow and he said what can 
you tell from that picture that i cant.Willow said well i can tell 
you that all the areas of yellow that show up on the picture is where 
there is movement taking place on the island.Nick looked at the 
picture and he said are you sure of that and Willow said yes i 
am.Nick started cursing like only a sailor can and Giles said Nick 
whats wrong.Nick said according to this picture we are facing at 
least several hundred vampires that are spread out in groups of about 
fifty each.Giles said damn this is bad and Faith said Giles you are 
still the king of understatements.Methos said i am afraid i cant see 
how the plan we made is going to work if we have to go up against so 
many vampires.Xander said hey what if we get some of the groups to 
join together or at least get close to one another.Nick said what 
good will that do.Willow smiled and she said if we can get several of 
the groups to do that we can contact Xena and our friends in the 
helicopter and have them drop the bombs right in the center of 
them.Giles said Nick said do you think that will work.Nick thought a 
moment and he said it might but first we would have to take out most 
of the vampires near the shore so the other groups would be merged 
together and then sent toward the one area of the islands shore in 
one big attack wave if they think that we are going to land 
there.Nick said is there anyway we can contact the people in the 
helicopter and inform them in the somewhat change of plans.Cassandra 
said i can call Xena with my cellular phone.Nick said do it please 
and then he walked over to the pilot consol.Willow was about to turn 
off the laptop when Nick said Willow we may need you to tell Xena 
exactly where the groups of vampires are.Willow said ok and she left 
the laptop on.

Cassandra pulled out her cellular phone out of the web belt she was 
wearing and she dialed the number for Xena's cellular phone.Gabrielle 
answered the phone since Xena was busy flying the helicopter and she 
said hello Gabrielle speaking.Gabrielle listened to Cassandra and 
then she said Xena there has a bit of change in the plans of 
attack.Xena said this is not the time to change the plans of attack 
we are almost to Alcatraz and then she said hand me the 
phone.Gabrielle handed the phone to Xena and Xena told Cassandra that 
now wasnt the time to decide to change the plans of attack.Cassandra 
said Xena according to Methos and several of the others here we dont 
stand a chance of pulling off this rescue with the plan we had.Xena 
said why wont it work the plan should be foolproof.Cassandra said 
because none of us figured on having to face four hundred vampires 
that are spread out in groups of fifty all around the island.Xena 
cursed in Ancient Greek and she said what are the changes in the plan 
of attack they want to make.Cassandra said hold on let me give my 
phone to death and he can explain it to you better than i 
can.Cassandra called out to J.D.Pierson and he looked over at 
her.Cassandra said come explain the change of plans to Xena you are 
better at tactics than i am so you can make her understand better 
than i can.Methos walked over to where Cassandra was and he took the 
cellular phone from her.Methos quickly explained the change of plans 
and Xena immedietly realized that it was a good change of plans as 
well as absolutely neccesary.Xena said ok we will go with the change 
of plans but i suggest you encirlce the island at least twice to make 
it looking if you are trying to find a good open spot to land.Methos 
said good idea and at the same time we can cut down on the number of 
vampires that are near the shore with our guns.Willow suddenly 
thought of something and she said Methos hold on let me check 
something.Willow ran to where the laptop was and she looked at the 
picture once more.Willow said hey guys according to this picture 
there is a dock over on the east side of the island where the tours 
disembark from the boats and there is one group on the dock hidden in 
the several buildings on the dock where souveniers and other items 
are sold.Buffy said that sound like that should be one of our first 
targets and Tara said yes but i think we should surprise them with 
either a couple missles or a torpedo or two.Nick said exactly how 
many missles and torpedoes do we have.Giles said we have ten missles 
and eight torpedoes.Xander said Nick we also have a dozen rockets for 
each of the 2 law 80 rocket launchers.Nick thought a second and he 
said we will use several of the law 80 rockets to take out the pier 
and all the vampires on it.Tara said why dont we use some of the 
hyperion rockets on the pier instead.Nick said because we might need 
to use some of the hyperion rockets against any group of vampires 
that are missed by the bombs.Willow said thats funny and Buffy said 
whats funny.Willow said there are about ten vampires standing on the 
platform right outside the lighthose and i can think of no reason why 
they should be there.Nick said that could be where Spike and the 
other ones who are in charge are at.Angel said no i know Spike and 
Darla too well they will be close to where the captives are at.Nick 
Wolfe said could the vampires on the platform outside the lighthouse 
possibly have some rockets or something which could be used to 
destroy or incompacitate our means of transportation.Gunn said if 
Wolfram and Hart are still backing them which it definitely looks 
like anything is possible.Nick said ok we have two targets lined up 
besides the vampires patrolling the shore but the question is how are 
we going to take out the lighthouse quickly without risking the 
hovercraft.Joyced said thats easy we take the lighthouse out with the 
laser they will never expect something like that.Nick said whats the 
range of the laser and Willow said it can hit almost anything even 
from ten miles away with ease.Nick said ok we will use the laser on 
the lighthouse and Joyce said good i have wanted to fire a laser ever 
since i was a young girl and i watched Buck Rogers and other sci fi 
shows on tv.Everybody laughed and Nick said Methos does Xena have the 
positions of the groups.Methos said yes but i didnt need to tell her 
because the helicopter she and the others are aboard has a scanner 
which can pick them up.Nick said tell her that we are going to take 
out the lighthouse and pier first and then begin our two circles 
around the island.Methos said good idea and from what i remeber the 
pier and lighthouse are close together so Spike and the others are 
sure to think that area is our intended target for arrival.Nick 
looked over at Xander and he said bring up the weapons and then you 
and Nick prepare the law 80 rocket launchers.Xander immedietly 
pressed the buttons and flipped the switches neccessary to raise all 
the hovercraft's weaponry out of the hidden compartments
