Natalie saw Lieutenant Forrest standing a few feet from another 
S.I.R. member who was signalling the constable who was driving a 
truck that one of the trailers was hooked to.Natalie walked up to 
Lieutenant Forrest and she tapped him on the shouders.Lieutenant 
Forrest looked at her and he said yes Dr.Lambert do you need 
anything.Natalie said yes i need three things in this order,One i 
need someplace that refrigerated to have the bodies moved to until i 
can perform autopsy on them,two i need a refrigerated truck up here 
as well that the bodies can be put into after an autopsy is 
performed,3 i need to somehow get samples and other things from the 
bodies sent to Toronto for indepth examination.Lieutenant Falcon said 
cant you do that in the trailer i was told it was well stocked with 
almost everything you will need.Natalie said it may have everything i 
might need to do tests and stuff but i dont have the time to run all 
those tests especially when i have so many bodies to examine and 
autopsy to do that.Lieutenant said is there anyone we might be able 
to get out here to help you.Natalie said you could get my assistants 
from the medical examiners to help me but if you do i will still need 
another trailer for them to work in.Lieutenant said i will see about 
arranging to send the samples and other items to Toronto.Dr.Mitchells 
said me and the others will also need to send back items for 
examination.Lieutenat Forrest said like what.Dr.Mitchels said the 
numerous rolls of film we have taken from from the crime 
scene,samples of blood,fingerprints of the victims,and wallets and 
other forms of I.D that belonged to the victims.Lieutenant Forrest 
said i will arrange to have a helicopter fly all the items to Toronto 
later this afternoon.

As soon as the trailer that was set up for Natalie was ready she 
told Lieutenant Forrest to have some of his men bring in a body so 
she could get started.Natalie spent an hour on each body closing 
examining them for any marks and taking pictures of all of them even 
the ones that people could easily say were made by vampires.She 
removed the organs and had them weighed before placing the organs in 
different evidence bags with a number written on the bags so that 
others who examined the organs would be able to tell which organs 
went with which body and she also stuck numbered pins on each body.

Natalie did six autopsies in all and after giving two large 
cardboard boxes full of samples,bags containing the organs,and a 
brief writeup about each victim she had autopsied so whoever did the 
tests would have an idea of what to look for and which tests to 
do.After finishing the sixth autopsy Natalie walked back into the ski 
resort and she started walking around checking out different bodies 
which still hadnt been placed in the ski resort's large 
freezer.Durring examining one such body Natalie found a fold out pack 
of matches.Natalie turned over the pack and she saw the words 
Willie's bar written on the cover.Natalie immedietly pocketed the 
pack of matches before anyone came up to her and she prayed that no 
one had seen them but just left them alone for some reason.Natalie 
was about to head into another room when she saw a small child's 
footprint a foot away from a puddle of blood that still hadnt dried 
completely.Natalie called out to Dr.Mitchels and she said have you 
seen the body of a small child in any of the rooms you have been 
through.Dr.Mitchels said no i havent why do you ask.Natalie said 
because there is a footprint that had to have been made by a small 
child over here.Dr.Mitchels called out to several of the other 
members of the forensics team and they all walked over to where 
Natalie was.Dr.Mitchels looked at the bloody footprints leading away 
from the puddle of blood and he said have any of you seen a body of a 
child anywhere in the resort.All of them shook their heads and 
Natalie said someone go get Lieutenant Forrest and any of his men who 
you can find.Dr.Urich said why do we need them and Dr.Mitchels said 
because there is a slim possibility that there might be a child 
hiding around here who survived the massacre.One of them said he 
would go get Lieutenant Forrest and he ran out of the room while at 
the same time being carefull not to step in any of the 
blood.Dr.Mitchels said i suggest we spread out and start searching 
but Natalie said no we should wait for Lieutenant Forrest and some of 
his men because the child might be in an aggressive state after all 
its been through.Dr.Urich said she is absolutely right and they 
decided to wait for Lieutenant Forrest and other S.I.R. members. 

When Lieutenant Forrest and three of his team walked up to them he 
said whats this about a possible child who might have survived the 
massacre.Natalie pointed at the child's bloody footprints and then 
she told him that none of them had seen the body of a child anywhere 
in the resort.Lieutenant Forrest looked at the footprints and then he 
said lets spread out and see if we can find him and i pray to heaven 
that the child did indeed survive and there were a number of Amens to 
that said right afterwords by the others.Lieutenant Forrest was 
touched on the shoulder by one of his men and he was told that there 
was an RCMP canine unit over among the other constables at the edge 
of the clearing.Lieutenant Forrest immedietly sent the man for the 
canine unit because it would definitely make the search a whole lot 
easier.

Fifteen minutes later the canine unit was led into the ski resort 
and Lieutenant Forrest walked right up to Craig and told him exactly 
what they needed of him and his canine partner.Craig said we will 
find the child right quick just show us where the footprints start so 
Rasso can get the child's scent.Lieutenant Forrest led Craig and 
Rasso to where the footprints were and Craig immedietly gave Rasso 
the command to get the scent.Rasso barked when he had the scent and 
Craig told him to lead them to the child.Rasso led them through 
several rooms and then over to a large airvent on the side of a wall 
thats cover was so loose it could be turned toward the 
ceiling.Lieutenant Forrest yelled someone get me the blueprints to 
the resort Asap.

After looking at the blueprints for a few minutes Lieutenant Forrest 
took an extra axe from one of his men and they started chopping into 
a wall so they could get to the only place that the child could 
possibly be hiding if the blue prints were right.Twenty minutes later 
they had a big enough hole in the wall to get through and they saw 
not one child but four scrunched up together in a corner and the 
oldest of them could only be twelve.Natalie said let me approach them 
first and she entered through the opening and she knelt down and said 
hello my name is Natalie i work in cooperation with the police which 
all these men are.The eldest child looked up at the men standing at 
the opening they had created and he saw the badges that they had on 
their shirts.The boy stood up and he said come on they are the good 
guys they must have ran the bad guys off.

After getting the four children into a room away from all the blood 
and stuff they quickly were cleaned up and given some food while 
checked over by Natalie and Dr.Mitchels to make sure they were 
ok.Lieutenant Forrest walked up to the children with another 
constable that Craig had told him was a pretty good artist.Lieutenant 
Forrest said i know all of you dont want to think about what happened 
here a few days ago but we need some help from you because only the 
four of you can help.Jerry the twelve year old said how can we help 
you.Lieutenant Forrest said did any of you get a good look at the 
people who did this.Three of the children shook their heads and Jerry 
said we were playing when they arrived and as soon as the yelling 
started i got all four of us into the hidden area where you found 
us.Natalie said Jerry you saw their faces didnt you and Jerry said 
yes i did.Lieutenant Forrest said Jerry this Constable is an artist i 
need you to describe their faces so we can do our best to find them 
and put them away where they will never do anything like this.Jerry 
said i will do what i can and for the next hour and a half he worked 
with the constable to get accurate drawings of the people's faces.

Craig after hearing Jerry tell the constable doing the sketches 
that there were only seven people who massacred all the people he 
immedietly went and told Lieutenant Forrest.Lieutenant Forest wasnt 
surprised by the news because there had only been tracks from four 
snowmobiles and four snowmobiles can only hold eight people.Natalie 
however was startled by this news because she had believed it had 
been at least fifteen to twenty vampires because of all the dead 
bodies.

Natalie walked over to the constable who was finishing up the last 
of the sketches and she said she would like a copy of them so she 
could send them to Toronto and let the cops there start a search 
throughout Ontario for the people.The constable said it would take 
him about thirty minutes to make sketch another copy of each of the 
people's faces.Natalie told him that wasnt neccessary because there 
was a xerox machine near the manager's office.As soon as the copies 
were done Natalie and the constable went to the xerox machine and had 
several copies made of each of the sketches.The constable took all 
but one of each of the copies to Lieutenant Forrest so he could have 
them spread out to the towns near here.Natalie immedietly used the 
xerox machine to make several more copies of the sketches so that she 
could give all but one set to the enforcers who were coming tonight 
and send the other copies to Captain Reese via the fax machine which 
is exactly what she went to do next.

About thirty minutes before sundown Natalie and the others were told 
they were all going to be staying at a lodge about a mile away from 
the ski resort and they headed for it on snowmobiles which had been 
brought up from the nearest town.

Natalie stayed up after the others had gone to sleep waiting for the 
enforcers to arrive.At ten thirty Natalie was starting to doze off to 
sleep in the recliner she was sitting in when she felt what she 
sometimes sensed when a vampire was nearby.Natalie opened her eyes 
and she saw five people she knew were enforcers a few feet from her 
and their leader was whispering to them so no one would hear 
them.Natalie sat up and the recliner she was in squeaked bringing her 
to their attention immedietly.One of the vampires started to rush at 
her to keep her from crying out but he was stopped by their 
leader.The leader of the group of enforcers said you are Dr.Lambert 
correct and in a quiet voice Natalie said yes and then she stood 
up.Natalie took a couple steps toward them and she said i have some 
items which you should have.The leader said what are they.Natalie 
said seven sketches of the faces of the seven who massacred almost 
everybody at the ski resort and a pack of matches from some club 
called Willie's bar i found it on the floor next to a couple of the 
bodies.The leader said hand them here and Natalie gave him the 
pictures and the pack of matches.The leader said you have done good 
Dr.Lambert and you have the thanks of the community as well as the 
enforcers for what you have done.Natalie said i just did what was 
best for everyone because neither the police nor other normal law 
enforcement groups can handle this the way it has to be handled.The 
leader smiled and he said your right but you have our thanks 
anyways.Natalie said there is one problem and that is there were four 
children who survived the massacre we found them late tonight in 
narrow space between two walls and one of them saw the people's faces 
its from him that we got the sketches.A vampire said show us which 
one it was we will wipe his memories.Natalie said i will show you 
which one it is but it might be a good idea to wait until he is away 
from here so he all of a sudden doesnt remeber anything when he did 
today.The leader said a very wise suggestion and one that we will 
follow.Natalie said i faxed a copy of the pictures to Toronto so that 
Captain Reese could have copies passed out to the other departments.A 
vampire said that was not a good idea.Natalie said yes it is because 
that way Nick Knight could get copies and take them to Lacroix.The 
leader said for such a supposed adversary of Lucien over his son you 
sure are willing to work with him.Natalie said me and Lacroix dont 
see completely eye to eye where Nick is concerned thats a well known 
fact but that doesnt mean i will bend over backwards to keep from 
doing what i can do to help just out of spite of him.

The leader laughed quietly and he said i should not tell you this 
but there is a petition before our elders stating that you should 
join our community after all you have done for us.Natalie said what 
do you mean by that.The leader said it means exactly what it sounds 
like.Natalie said dont i have a choice in this.The leader said for 
now you do because the elders have not decided but when they decide 
you will not and you will be taken before them so they may observe it 
being done.Natalie said but who would do it and the leader said that 
would also be decided by the elders but by our laws it would have to 
be one whom you know.
