Re: Anne-Lise's Snippets (Edition 13)

> Any chance of turning it into a full blown story

Maybe, if my arm lets up. It aches when I type. But for some reason
Calliope (my muse) is playing mind games with me and is assaulting my
senses with fleeting inspirations that won't let me be... WAH!

Anne-Lise.

--

"Is she going to be okay?" Buffy asked, her arms crossed.
"I don't know," Giles replied. "Physically, she's unharmed... But
that demon had her under a powerful mind control. I'm just glad you
realised in time to stop her killing you."
Buffy shook her head. "I think she was fighting back in her own
way. Attacking me with a spoon instead of a knife, for instance."
Giles rubbed his forehead. "Or maybe it was just a stupid demon.
Anyway, I'll go and fetch some books and do some research while you
keep an eye on her. Call me if there are any problems."
Buffy waved her hand in front of Willow's face, who gazed out
towards some unseen horizon.
"Will she be okay like this?" she asked.
"What? Oh. She should be fine. She's just under a deep hypnosis. Be
careful what you say around her... It may affect her subconscious."
"Will do," Buffy replied meekly.

Willow remembered fighting back against the hold that enthralled
her. She'd been too weak, really. But she'd angry, and her anger had
helped. And then it was all over. Buffy had saved her from herself.
Saved her once more.
"Lie back and close your eyes. I want you to try and relax. Let my
voice guide you." Giles' voice eased its way into her mind. He had
such a good voice. She liked to listen to him sing, when the mood
struck him. "You're doing so well, but now you have to go deeper. Go
deeper, and be more relaxed while you listen to my voice. Don't try
to think, just let go and I will lead you. Put yourself in my hands
and let me help you. Let your mind leave your body."

*

"Just you and me now, Willow." Buffy chatted, because Willow's
vacant staring eyes were freaking her out. "I know you didn't mean to
hurt me. You'd never hurt me. You'll be okay, don't worry." Buffy
looked at Willow's face and felt tears in her eyes. "I promise. I
won't let anything bad happen to you." She put on a smile. "You're
everything to me."

Giles snapped his fingers, and smiled with relief as Willow's eyes
unglazed and she looked around her, embarrassed to be the centre of
attention. The old Willow again.
"What happened?" she asked, predictably.
Buffy hugged her tightly. "Long story," she said.
Willow surprised everyone by kissing Buffy. This was no best-friend
kiss. This was a kiss that would have won Oscars.
Buffy fought rising panic as Willow broke the kiss with an adoring
look in her eyes.
"Buffy?" Giles asked with an anxious tone to his voice. "You were
careful not to suggest anything around Willow when she was in her
trance, weren't you?"
Buffy chewed her lip as Willow hugged her breathless.
"Um," she said.

*

"Willow!" Buffy called out as Willow climbed into bed with her
again. It'd been the third time that night and Buffy was losing her
will to fight Willow's hypnosis-driven advances. She'd insisted on
being in Buffy's room, and had fought and wailed when they'd tried to
take her away. So Buffy had acquiesced to Willow staying there in her
current state. Although Xander was sleeping outside the door with a
baseball bat held within his somnambulant grasp.
"I want to please you, mistress." Willow whispered. "Let me please
you." Her lips pressed hotly against Buffy's neck.
"Its so wrong," Buffy wailed. "Willow, you *must* stop this madness."
Willow's eyes filled with tears. "I need you," she whispered. "I
need you now." She pounced on top of the Slayer, who succumbed to
Willow's passion.
Somewhere in the darkness came the noise of someone fumbling for a
camera. A bright flash illuminated the semi-naked Slayer and the
redhead suckling at her.
"Eep." Willow commented as the bat made rough contact with her head,
and she went limp.
Xander's grin glowed in the darkness. "Saved you!" he exclaimed,
pleased with himself.
"Eep." Xander commented as the bat made rough contact with his head,
and he went limp.
"Yeah, thanks." The Slayer sulked.
