Amy said Willow i am afraid that you cant take any law classes at 
the community college.Willow said why not the classes cant be already 
full the summer quarter doesnt start for over a month from now.Tara 
said Willow the community college phased out all the law classes last 
year since they had less than twenty people sign up for all the law 
classes combined.Joyce looked at Willow and she said Willow you can 
go to a college in Los Angeles and take law classes there.Buffy said 
my mom's right Willow and you can easily afford it.Willow thought for 
a minute and then she said i will wait to tkae any classes in law 
until after i have finished the classes in electronics and computers 
i want to take.Giles said are you sure of this and Willow said yes i 
am and i am sort of glad that the community college doesnt have law 
classes.Anya said why and Willow said because i would be too busy 
studying for both the law class and the electronic and computer class 
to have been any help to you guys.Giles nodded and said it is better 
that you spread your classes out over time instead of taking too much 
on your shoulders and burn out like i almost did.Joyce looked at 
Giles and said you almost burnt out when you went to college.Giles 
said i did the first two years i did but then i fell into the wrong 
crowd so to speak.Buffy said dont you dare say his name and Xander 
said i second that we dont need him back around here causing trouble 
for us.

Giles looked over at Amy,Oz,and Tara who were sitting right next to 
each other at the table and he said what classes are you guys going 
to take.Amy said i am going to take a couple classes in Finance and 
Accounting.Tara said i am going to take a couple more classes in 
English,Science,and Math because i want to be a teacher.Xander said 
have you decided what grade level you want to teach.Tara looked over 
at him and she said i havent really decided but it will be either 
elementary or high school.Willow said well if you decide to teach 
high school and you have any obnoxious comedian students like someone 
who i shall not bother to name you can instruct his girlfriend how to 
keep him in line.Xander yelled out Hey i resent that your talking 
about me like that Willow.The next second they all heard the sound of 
someone being slapped and Anya said Willow thanks for giving me the 
chance to see if i still had it.Tara looked at Xander and she said 
Xander you should have just kept quiet and not given Anya a reason to 
do it.Anya said bite your tongue Tara there isnt much i am capable of 
doing right now but i can keep my husband in line and i will when he 
needs it.Giles said Oz what about you have you decided what classes 
you are going to take.Oz said yes i am going to take a class in 
automotive mechanics and a class in animal biology which i have 
already signed up for.Joyce said Anya and Xander wont be taking any 
more classes for a year after spring quarter.Anya said we will be too 
busy preparing for the birth of our daughter and to take care of her 
after she is born to go to classes.Giles said Anya you dont mean you 
wont finish your classes at all.Anya said oh no we will both continue 
our classes so that we will set a good example for our daughter.Amy 
said how are you doing on your college home courses you are taking 
Anya.Anya said i am doing quite well and i even got a job offer from 
an investment firm a month ago but i turned it down.Xander looked at 
Anya and said you didnt tell me.Anya looked at Xander and she said 
there was no need i couldnt accept it while being five months 
pregnant our family comes first before any job offer or work.Xander 
leaned to the side and he kissed Anya.

A few seconds later Xander's watch beeped and he looked down at 
it.Xander said sorry to eat and run guys but i have to be at work in 
a little over forty five minutes.Xander started to get up from the 
table but stopped when Giles said wait a minute Xander i have an 
announcement to make which you all must hear.Giles said last night 
Buffy,Willow,and Joyce were eatting dinner when they were approached 
by Felicia Hardy.Xander said Giles, Felicia Hardy is the name of the 
black cat in Marvel comics.Buffy said it is also the name of an 
immortal who cant be trusted for a second.Xander said let me guess 
she challenged one of you and you took her head.Joyce said they didnt 
fight her she withdrew the challenge after she found out who their 
teachers were but she got a good look at the tag on my car so she 
probably followed us back to Sunnydale.Oz said dont worry we will be 
on the lookout for her and let you know if we see any strange women 
wearing long coats.Giles said it is more serious than that because 
from what Amanda told Buffy and Willow this Felicia Hardy isnt beyond 
using the friends and family of her immortal targets to get a 
quickening.Xander said damn and Oz said let me guess me and others 
are to go armed when we leave the house.Giles said yes i want you to 
be armed with your pistols and i have backup weapons inside the 
guncases that are right next to the foyer entrance.Xander said thanks 
for the warning but i really have to go get ready now and he headed 
for the staircase in the main hall.Buffy yelled Xander me and the 
others will see you there in a couple of hours.

Willow looked over at Giles and she said Giles it might be a good 
idea to keep the ground sensors along the inner edge of the estate's 
walls active for the next couple of days.Giles said no we need to 
keep all the ground sensors active both day and night.Joyce said they 
already are I turned them on about an hour after me,Buffy,and Willow 
got home.Giles said Willow before you and the others leave tonight i 
want you to seal off all the entrances to the house except for the 
foyer entrance.Willow said i will do it right after i finish 
eatting.Giles said dont you mean after you and Buffy finish cleaning 
up the kitchen.Buffy said no she doesnt because it isnt our night to 
clean the kitchen we have to do it tommorrow night.Giles said Willow 
why did you mention cleaning up the kitchen tonight if it wasnt you 
and Buffy's turn to do it.Buffy said she did it to goad me into a 
race to the bathroom.Oz and several of the others laughed at this.

About twenty minutes later Felicia Hardy had just worked her way 
around to the back of the estate's rear wall when she saw a small 
metal gate about ten feet away.Felicia walked over to the gate and 
she looked at the gate closely.Felicia could tell that the gate was 
made of titanium and that it was securely connected to the 
walls.There were no hinges or anything else that could be loosened so 
the gate could be bypassed.Felicia didnt touch the gate because she 
couldnt be sure that there wasnt an alarm hooked up to it.This made 
getting a look at the electronic look through the metal bars quite 
difficult.Finally Felicia pulled a mirror out of her tote bag and she 
used it to get a good look at the electronic lock.Felicia said shit 
damn fuck and kicked at a pinecone on the ground because she was very 
familiar with the electronic lock on the gate since she had one on 
every outside door to her home.After calming down for a minute she 
put the mirror back in the tote bag and pulled out a pair of 
binoculars.Felicia used the binoculars to get a close look at the 
rear of the house she had already got good looks of the left side of 
the front of the house and the left side as well.Felicia was looking 
at one of the last few windows when she saw a metal screen security 
pannel slide down in front of the window.Felica quickly checked the 
other windows and they were all covered by metal screen security 
pannels.Felicia said damn this place is almost as heavily fortified 
as Fort Knox.That made Felicia think of something and she put the 
binoculars back in the tote bag and pulled out two more things out of 
it.Felicia laid one of the things down and then put on a visor.The 
visor allowed Felicia to see the multi level laser grid that covered 
the grounds inside the walls as far as she could see.Felicia took off 
the visor and threw it to the ground and said fucking shit damn these 
people they are making it truly difficult for me to get at one of 
them when they are alone.Felicia picked up the visor and put it in 
the tote bag.Felicia was about to put the other thing in the tote bag 
when she accidentally turned it on and it went crazy.Felicia looked 
at the screen on the device and she said damn not only do they have a 
multi level laser grid protecting the grounds but movement sensors 
buried right under the grass so they cant be seen.Felicia turned off 
the device and put it back in the tote bag before heading back the 
way she had came.There was no reason for her to continue looking at 
the house.As she was heading back to her car she said i will just 
have to find someplace away from the estate where i can get a hold of 
one of their friends or family and make them come to a site of my own 
choosing.

About Seven o'clock Buffy,Amy,Oz,Tara,and Willow all headed to the 
bronze.Buffy and Willow rode in Willow's car although Buffy was 
driving and Oz,Amy,and Tara rode in the montana.As they passed by a 
bar Willow remebered what had been discussed last night and she said 
Buffy we need to stop by Willie's later tonight on the way home.Buffy 
said why and Willow said so that we can spread the word that we would 
like to know about any strangers that are armed with swords or 
axes.Buffy said yes we should but we should tell them that they are 
human as well because there are demons and vampires who like to carry 
swords and axes if you have forgotten.Willow said do you think we 
should ask them for help in dealing with Felicia Hardy.Buffy said no 
this is our fight we have to handle it without them but we should 
warn them about her and tell them her description so they know to 
stay away from her.


When they reached the bronze they saw a huge banner hanging above 
the entrance that had the words Battle of the Bands on it.Buffy 
looked over at Oz and said he Oz are you and your band entered in the 
battle of the bands.Oz said yeah and me and the others have really 
been working hard for the past two weeks ever since we first heard 
about it and we got a new song we are going to play tonight.Willow 
said how many bands do you think have entered.Amy said over sixty 
bands signed up and Oz said yes and i doubt that me and the others 
will get very far because there are a number of good bands from all 
over California as well as other States as well.

As they were approaching the entrance to the bronze Steve who was 
one of the guys assigned to check people for weapons and drugs waved 
them through without searching them.A guy who was being searched by 
Terry said hey why do those five get to go inside without being 
searched unlike the rest of us.Several people yelled out complaints 
and Steve said those five people have permission from the club's 
owner to enter the club before securing their weapons.The guy said 
they take weapons into the club.Terry said they are part of security 
group that patrols certain areas of the town at night and their 
weapons are locked up until they are ready to leave.
