After they had sat down Willow looked around and she said guys i 
still cant believe how nice the new bronze is.Oz said yeah Caleb made 
it a lot better than the old one.Amy said Oz tell Buffy and Willow 
what you told us about the bandstand.Buffy and Willow looked at Oz 
and he said the bandstand is big enough to hold two different bands 
at the same time.Willow said is that how they are going to have the 
battle of the bands tonight.Oz said no each band will get to play 
only one song and the judges will decide which band is the best.Buffy 
said who are the judges.Oz said only Caleb and the judges themselves 
know who they are and no one else is being told until its time for 
the judges to announce their decision.About twenty minutes later Oz 
said he had to go join the rest of the band and he got up and headed 
backstage where the bands were supposed to wait until it was their 
turn.

About eight o'clock Caleb walked onto the bandstand and he 
announced that it was time to start the battle of the bands.The next 
second the members of the first band ran out from behind a curtain 
and started getting into positions.Caleb announced the name of the 
band and from where they hailed before walking off the stage.The 
bands played one after another with only a two minute break inbetween 
each one so the band that played could remove their 
guitars,amplifiers,and other portable instruments and that was to 
play in a few minutes could get their instruments and stuff in 
place.About forty five minutes after the battle of the band started 
Caleb announced that the Dingoes ate my baby and the San Francisco 
Syrens would be the next two bands to play.Amy said hey lets go up to 
the front of the bandstand and give Oz and his band our support.Tara 
said yes lets and Buffy said count us in too.The four of them got up 
from the booth and they headed for the bandstand.

Across the room Burt saw them get up and he said Al they left the 
booth.Al looked at Burt for a second and then he looked over at the 
booth Buffy and the others had been sitting at.Al said Burt where did 
they go and Burt said they headed toward the bandstand.Trent said hey 
Al the guy that was with them is up on the bandstand i think he might 
be part of one of the bands playing tonight.Al looked at the 
bandstand and he recognized the guy.Al looked at Burt and he said 
guys it looks like we got lucky and we can continue as planned.Mitch 
said but when do we do it and Al said we will go get the stuff while 
the first band is playing and by the second band is finished we 
should be already out of here.When the dingoes started playing Al and 
the five other men got up from the booth and they all headed toward 
the men's bathroom that was on the ground floor.Al who was the last 
to enter the bathroom took one last quick glance around to see if 
anyone was watching him and the others but he didnt see anyone before 
walking into the bathroom.

Up on the second floor Xander was keeping the men's bathroom under 
observation just like Caleb had told him to do when he got to work 
earlier in the evening.Xander saw the six men walk into the bathroom 
and the way the last man had looked around made him suspicious.Xander 
pulled out his cellular phone and he dialed the number for Caleb's 
cellular phone.When Caleb answered Xander told him that six men had 
walked into the bathroom he had been told to keep under observation 
and that one of them had acted suspiciously.Caleb told Xander good 
work and then told him to go stand over to the bar and order a vodka 
gin fizz.Xander said Caleb i dont drink alcoholic drinks.Caleb said 
Xander its a signal to two cops that are staying by the bar until 
they get the signal.Xander said is there some trouble that you need 
help with.Caleb said i have the situation under control Xander so 
please do as i say and Xander said ok and he headed for the stairs

Backstage Caleb was talking to Lily Langtry the manager for the San 
Francisco Syrens when his cellular phone beeped.Caleb who had been 
waiting for a call quickly asked Lily to excuse him for a minute and 
after she said of course he opened his flip out cellular phone.Caleb 
put the phone up to his head and he said go ahead I'm listening.Caleb 
listened to Xander and then told him what he wanted him to do.After 
pressing the end on his cellular phone Caleb put a coach's type 
whistle to his lips and blew three times into it.Up in the rafters 
Rycco and Emil heard the whistle and instantly looked down at Caleb 
who was directly below them.Caleb gave them the signal they had been 
waiting for.Rycco and Emil dropped down from the rafters and headed 
for the men's bathroom on the first floor as soon as they landed.Lily 
was shocked when they landed about ten feet from them and she said 
Caleb what are those things.Caleb said Lily they are the club's 
coolers and they just love to dress up like monsters to scare people 
so they dont have to hurt them.Lily said where are they going and 
Caleb said they are going to go deal with some guys who are trying to 
rob the club.Lily said shouldnt you call the police and have the guys 
arrested.Caleb said i already did and there are two plain clothed 
police officers over by the bar.Lily said how did you find out about 
what they were planning to do.Caleb said i figured it out when one of 
the guys tried to sneak guns into the club and hide them where they 
could get them tonight.Lily said i take it that they wont find the 
guns and Caleb said thats correct the guns are already at the police 
station and i was told they are being checked in case they were used 
in a prior crime or are stolen.
