Re: Anne-Lise's Snippets (Edition 14)
> 8D Very funny! More?
LOL. More snippets, or more Jay and Silent Bob?
(I had to go to a very scary mental place to think like Jay. I'm not
sure if I managed it very well... :/)
Psychotically,
Anne-Lise.

"Who is this?" Willow asked.
"I guess I dialled the wrong number again," the voice replied.
Willow sighed. "No problem." She made to hang up.
"No, please don't hang up. I'd like to talk." The voice suggested.
"There're 9800 numbers for that, you know."
The voice sighed. "Do you like scary movies?"
"Sure. Sometimes. Although they're a little too much like homework.
But hey, homework is good." Willow retrieved a bowl of popcorn from
the microwave.
"What's your favourite scary movie?"
Willow thought about it. "I like the one where this guy tries to
play strange mind-fuck games on his schoolfriends, but he gets found
out and severely maimed by this schoolgirl's best friend."
"Hmm..." The voice seemed taken aback. "I don't think I know that
one... ARGH!"
Buffy's voice came on the line. "Got him!"
"Nice," Willow said.
Buffy's smugness carried on her voice. "All in a day's work," she
said.

Xander opened his eyes and tried to focus. It took quite a lot of
effort. He peered up at his unlikely nurse in her drab laboratory
coat. "Hey," he claimed. "I know you."
The woman stared down at him with mild interest. "You do?"
"Yeah..." Xander tried to place her. "Aren't you Buffy's psychology
teacher? I remember her pointing you out and saying, 'She's a right
bitch...'"
"Really?" Professor Walsh laughed. "I guess that means more homework
for her!" She rubbed her hands together.
"What am I doing here?" Xander asked as the morphine faded and the
pain set in.
"Hmm? Oh... Just a simple experiment, really. Trust me, you won't
feel... or remember... a thing."
*
"So who was our resident nutball?" Willow asked.
Buffy looked up from the knife she was sharpening. "Oh... Remember
Jonathon?"
"No!" Willow's eyes grew wide. "Not him?"
Buffy nodded. "He won't be hurting anyone else. Ever." She stared
back at her knife.
"What did you do to him?" Willow asked, curious in spite of herself.
Buffy grinned. "Nothing that will ever be found."

Anya looked down at her hunk of man. "I love you," she whispered.
She meant it too.
"I love you too," Xander replied even though he didn't. Men are good
at that.
Anya bit her lip. "There's something I've been meaning to ask you,"
she said. "Why is it you never get ill or hurt for very long?"
Xander raised an eyebrow.
"I mean, I've seen you contract syphilis, be knocked unconscious
more times than I can count, and yet... You always seem to be okay
again shortly afterwards."
Xander grinned. "Ah, you mean the old Harris constitution." He
patted his firm torso. "I dunno," he admitted. "I guess I'm just
lucky that way."
"Oh," Anya shrugged. "I wish I was. My arm still twinges when it
rains."
Xander chuckled. "Listen to you. You sound like an old woman, not
at all like my perky milliena-old ex-demon."
Anya pouted.

"Oh my," Willow gasped as she continued to work her way through the
Initiative's old files. The ones Spike gave her on behalf of
Adam. "Buffy, look at this!"
Buffy looked. "Xander?" she breathed. "What the hell did they do to
him?"
