Sixteen minutes later the lear jet landed at a small airport in Los 
Angeles but it was about four minutes later until it taxied to a 
complete stop.After about two minutes Xena looked at Buffy and she 
said Buffy did Giles tell Angel and Cordelia which airport they were 
to meet us at.Willow said yes he did.Buffy looked out a window and 
she said that looks like Angel's car which is approaching.Gabrielle 
ran to the door and after unsealing the door she opened it up and 
lowered the ramp.As soon as his car had stopped Angel jumped out from 
the passenger side and ran aboard the plane so as to get out of the 
sunlight.Xena said Angel go on to the back there are a couple seats 
back there that sunlight cant reach.Angel said ok and then he headed 
back to the back of the lear jet.Gunn who was behind the wheel of 
Angel's car pulled the passenger door shut and then took off heading 
for the exit.Gabrielle stuck her head out to watch the car drive off 
and then she said hey Angel where is Cordelia.Angel said Cordelia is 
getting our luggage cleared through customs but she should be here 
soon.

About nine minutes later Cordelia and two custom agents one of which 
was pulling a luggage dolley walked up to the door of the lear 
jet.One of the custom agents knocked on the door and he said hello 
anyone in there.Xena got up from her seat and she walked over to the 
door.Xena said yes there is is there something wrong.The older custom 
agent said this young lady is looking for a lear jet she is supposed 
to be flying to Canada on and we are just helping her find it.Xena 
looked at Cordelia and she said hello Cordelia.Cordelia said hello 
Xena.Xena said this is the lear jet going to Canada and the customs 
agents said ok.Cordelia walked aboard the lear jet but Xena stopped 
her before she could go sit down.Xena said dont forget your luggage 
you can take it to the back where the rest of the luggage is.Cordelia 
said how am i supposed to carry three suitcases and Gabrielle said 
make more than one trip.Willow got up from her seat and she said i 
will help you Cordelia.

Once the luggage was aboard Xena shut and resealed the door.Xena 
tapped on the door to the cockpit before walking back to her seat.The 
pilot instantly contacted the tower and asked for clearance to take 
off as soon as possible since the lear jet was already refueled.Five 
minutes later the lear jet taxied down the runway gaining speed every 
second until it took to the air.The pilot had the lear jet circle 
around the airport one and a half times because of incoming traffic 
and then he headed the plane for Toronto.

In the passenger compartment Buffy looked back to where Angel was 
seated and she said Angel how did you do it.Angel said what are you 
talking about.Buffy said how did you get Cordelia to bring just two 
suitcases worth of clothes or is she no longer Queen C.Cordelia said 
ha ha Buffy and for your information only one of those suitcases is 
mine the other two are Angel's.Willow said Buffy i guess you were 
right Queen C is dead there is no way she would have limited herself 
to only a few outfits.Cordelia said hey like i would really bring 
some of my good clothes along to wear and get them stained with who 
knows what kind of goo or blood.Angel said Queen C is still very much 
alive although she has changed quite a bit since she was in High 
School.Cordelia looked back at Angel and she said why thank you 
Angel.Angel looked at Buffy and he said i had to promise her a 
shopping trip to several of Toronto's best clothing stores to get her 
to only bring one suitcase.Cordelia whirled around in her chair and 
she screached Angel the agreement was that you wouldnt tell anybody 
about that.Angel said no the agreement was that you couldnt tell 
anyone but i wasnt under the same restriction.Buffy said we will go 
shopping together Cordelia and Willow said hopefully this shopping 
trip will go better than the last one.Buffy said oh i am sure it 
will.Gabrielle said what do you mean by that Willow.Willow said a 
couple days ago we ran into Felicia Hardy and yesterday when me and 
Buffy were shopping for clothes at the mall she walked up and 
challenged me.Xena said i know i should have taken that bitches head 
years ago.Gabrielle said you beat her and Willow said actually i had 
her beat but another immortal named Vargas appeared and he told me he 
wanted her head.Xena said you let him have it and Gabrielle said 
Willow if you did you broke the rules of the game.Buffy said Willow 
got Felicia to withdraw her challenge in return for letting her go 
and then we headed for the exit.Xena looked at Willow and said so you 
let Vargas make his challenge and handle Felicia as he wanted.Willow 
said yes it was for the best that way he and Buffy wouldnt have to 
fight and i really didnt want to take Felicia's quickening there is 
no telling whether it could be a dark quickening or not.Buffy said if 
it was i am sure Vargas would have tried to challenge one of us when 
we encountered each other later on.Xena said Buffy a dark quickening 
takes between hours and days to overcome immortals according to how 
powerfull they are and the quickenings they have taken in the past.

Cordelia said guys talking about immortals and quickenings reminds 
me of the question Giles got me to ask the Oracles.Buffy and Willow 
looked at each other for a moment and then turned to face 
Cordelia.Willow said what did the oracles say.Cordelia said the 
oracles couldnt answer the question but one of the members of the ptb 
appearead and he told me the answer.Xena said what are you three 
talking about.Willow said Xena we are talking about a way on how to 
stop the game.Gabrielle said is there such a thing.Cordelia said yes 
according to the man who is a member of the ptb all the immortals do 
to end the game is to stop playing it.Buffy said just stop playing it 
and Cordelia said yes and the oracles told me that it would take time 
to do so.Xena said have you passed this information onto Cassandra 
and the others and Cordelia said no i havent.Willow said lets contact 
them now and Xena said yes lets do that.Xena picked up her cellular 
phone and she dialed the number for Cassandra's home in 
Scotland.Cassandra answered the phone on the fifth ring and she said 
hello Cassandra speaking.Xena said Cassandra its me and Cassandra 
said how are you and Gabrielle doing.Xena said we are doing fine but 
i am afraid that this is not just a pleasant call.Cassandra said are 
Buffy and Willow ok i heard that Felicia Hardy was around 
Sunnydale.Xena said they are fine but through Cordelia,the Oracles,
and a member of the ptb they have found the answer to the immortals 
billion dollar question.Cassandra said thats impossible and Xena said 
no its not.Cassandra said how do we end the game and Xena said 
according to the ptb all the immortals have to do is stop playing the 
game.Cassandra said that will never happen.Xena said it might but it 
will take time so you and the others should start now.Cassandra said 
but how do we do that without letting someone take our heads when we 
are challenged.Xena said why dont you all get together and then 
contact those who you all know who are tired of playing the game or 
who never liked it at all and band together as a group.Cassandra said 
then we bring in more and more.Xena said exactly and Joe Dawson can 
certainly tell you who else is tired of playing the game so you can 
approach them.Cassandra said thanks for the information Xena but if 
you will excuse me i need to make a number of phone calls to the 
others.

When Xena hung up the phone Gabrielle said Xena,Willow just told me 
she brought along a copy of all the information she was able to find 
out.Xena said well we had better go over the information and Angel 
said i also have some information which Willow doesnt.For the next 
two hours Buffy and the others went over the information trying to 
look for a pattern or a reason for the massacres.Angel put down a 
couple of pictures and he said i just cant figure out what they are 
up to.Gabrielle said Angel look at this map it has all the places 
where the massacres have taken place marked and so is the one which 
is just a possibility.Angel took the map from Gabrielle and he looked 
at it.After turning and looking at the map from different angles and 
sides he said i still dont see any pattern to it.Buffy said i guess 
Willow was right when she said Spike and the others are just 
traveling around Canada killing groups of people.Angel looked at 
Buffy and then at Willow said i just cant believe that unless Spike 
and the others have gone completely crazy or something.Willow said 
you know something has been bothering me ever since i started 
gathering the information about the massacres.Gabrielle said what 
bothers you.Willow said none of these massacres have the supernatural 
reason behind it they are completely mundane.Cordelia dropped a file 
she had been going through onto her lap and she said Willow is 
absolutely correct.Xena said Willow are you saying that we are 
missing some vital clue or something.Willow said yes.Buffy said 
Willow is there any way they could be harvesting parts of people's 
bodies for some reason.Willow said its possible because i only have 
files on three of the massacres and there has been seven certain 
massacres which means they could have taken parts of the bodies from 
the other four massacres.Angel said i dont think thats what they are 
up to and Cordelia said why not.Angel said there is not much use for 
human body parts not even in magic.Xena said Angel is right the only 
thing used in magic from humans is the blood and a person's life 
force and none of the sites of the massacres have the symbols around 
them used in such magics.Gabrielle said i guess we havent really 
learned anything new.

Willow suddenly had a thought and she said hey what if we are 
looking at this from the wrong perspective.Angel said what do you 
mean Willow.Willow said we have all been focusing on Spike and the 
others trying to figure out what they are up to but maybe we should 
be focusing on the people who were killed.Gabrielle said i dont 
understand and Buffy said neither do i.Willow said some of the people 
killed at the various massacres could have had something in common 
which could link them together.Xena said damn thats a strong 
possibility and Angel said but why would Spike and the others be 
massacring them.Cordelia said what if these guys were part of the 
initative or had something to do with designing and creating the 
chips like the one that was placed in Spike's head.Angel said that 
would be more than enough reason for Spike and the others to go after 
them.Willow said Xena can you get a list of all the names of the 
people who were killed at the massacres from the enforcers.Xena said 
yes but it will most likely take a day or two for me to get 
it.Gabrielle said i will call Michelle and have her get some 
enforcers to start work on it as soon as possible.
