Today, Sep 11, 2001 - A day that will live in Infamy...

The United States of America was suddenly and 
deliberately attacked by terriosts. 

It's kinda ironic, when all this happened, we were
watching it in U.S. History class. My friend and I
reminded each other that we were both born in New
York, and how I went back home to the good New York
just last week. While I was watching "it" today, I
was thinking and hoping that no one was in the
buildings, and no one was in the planes, but that's
just the 5 year old in me that has so much hope, and
so much faith, that when you think that "it" can't
happen, "it" won't, and that if your parents tell you
this is an Ideal world, you believe them.....but then
you grow up. I'm 17, and I was hoping against hope,
and pulled up the faith in me and said, "no one is
dead, no one is dead, then no one is dead." Boy was I
wrong. I've written so much, when I just wanted to
write so little, all these words and emotions are
jumbling around in my mind, I don't know what to do
with it. "When is all this going to stop?" When I
asked this to my brother when the school shootings
were in the bloom, he turned to me, looked me in the
eye, and said very bluntly, "Never!" Now I know this
isn't a school shooting, but still, "When is this
going to stop?"


Sometime, long ago, when the first fist arose to
strike that first victim an unbroken chain of events a
dark following, was begun. It is inceasing in it`s
quest of stark reciprocity. It`s hunger for blood is
never quenched. It is unmerciful to the poor and the
wealthy. It devours widows and orphans!
