Gabrielle said Buffy Willow there is one vampire you both must be 
extra carefull around and his name is Lacroix.Cordelia said what 
about me and Xena said all three of you should be carefull around him 
but Buffy and Willow will need to be more carefull than you.Willow 
said why will we need to be more carefull around him.Gabrielle said 
over a millenia ago Lacroix tried to turn an immortal woman into a 
nightwalker even though he knew she was an immortal.Buffy said well 
he wont get a chance to try that again with us and Willow said thats 
for sure.Cordelia said Xena where is the meeting going to take place 
and is there anything specific we should wear.Gabrielle said the 
meeting is going to be held at a club called the Raven.Xena said wear 
what you like as long as you can go armed while wearing it.When they 
got into the motel's elevator Xena looked at her watch and said its 
6:15 lets meet out in the hallway about seven o'clock.Cordelia said 
ok i will go tell Angel.Xena said no let me do that i have to give 
him some blood so he will be at full ability.

When they reached the floor their rooms were on they all walked out 
of the elevator and headed toward their rooms.When Xena and Gabrielle 
entered their motel room Xena said i am going to take Angel a bottle 
so he can feed.Gabrielle said ok but do you want to wear to the 
Raven.Xena said you know my favorites pick something you would like 
me to wear.Gabrielle smiled and said will do.Xena got a green bottle 
out of the bar's small refrigerator and she headed for the exit 
saying she would be back in a few minutes.

Xena knocked on the door to Angel's room when she reached it and he 
answered it after a few moments.Xena said Angel we need you to be at 
full strength so drink this and she thrust the green bottle against 
his chest.Angel understood and he said i will and thanks Xena.Xena 
said your welcome and by the way we will be meeting out in the 
hallway at seven o'clock so hurry up and get ready.Angel said i will 
and then he said do you know if Cordelia and the others got our 
equipment we need yet.Xena said yes they got the equipment its in one 
of their rooms and you will need to equip yourself before we go as 
well.

In Buffy and Willow's motel room Buffy and Willow were going through 
their clothes trying to decide on what to wear.Buffy said i wish we 
had brought some more clothes and Willow said i know what you 
mean.Buffy said are black dockers and the silver or gold shirts we 
have would be perfect to wear to the raven tonight its just too bad 
we didnt bring them with us.Willow said hold on a moment and she 
walked over to the closet.Willow said a couple words in Latin and 
then she walked right into the closet much to Buffy's surprise.Buffy 
rushed over to the closet and she couldnt believe her eyes and she 
said Willow this is our clothes closet back in Sunnydale.Willow 
looked at Buffy and said i know and then she took the coat hanger 
that Buffy's black dockers were on off the bar.A few seconds later 
Willow walked out of the closet after Buffy stepped back to give her 
room.Willow said another word in Latin as she walked over to the bed 
and laid the clothes she had got on the bed.Buffy said Willow why 
didnt you tell me and the others you can open portals to other 
places.Willow said Buffy i kept it secret because portals are 
dangerous things and besides that i have to know the area quite well 
and have been there at least within a months time to open a portal to 
that place.Buffy said well how did you find out you could do it and 
Willow said Cassandra taught me to do it it was the last thing she 
taught me.Buffy and Willow quickly got dressed because it was already 
a 6:35 and they still had to apply some makeup and other stuff before 
they armed themselves.

When Willow walked out of the bathroom soon followed by Buffy she 
said we need to pack up what guns we will be taking with us in the 
tote bag.Buffy said we should arm ourselves here and leave the rest 
behind.Willow said Buffy we cant go walking around armed right 
through the motel someone is bound to notice especially the motel's 
security personnel.Buffy said ok we will take the guns out in the 
tote bag.Willow said Angel and Cordelia should be here soon and Buffy 
said i will go get them.

Buffy was almost to the door when there was a knock on the door.
Buffy opened the door just a couple inches and peeked out to see who 
it was.When she saw it was Angel and Cordelia she opened up the door 
wide enough for them to enter.Buffy shut the door behind them and 
then followed them further into the motel room.Willow said guys we 
will be carrying the guns we will be going armed to the meeting with 
in the tote bag.Cordelia said Willow how are we going to arm 
ourselves if the guns are in the tote bag.Angel said Cordelia i 
believe what Willow means is that we wont be arming ourselves with 
the guns until we get away from the motel.Buffy said thats exactly 
what she means and its a good idea because we dont want to attract 
attention to ourselves around the motel.

Angel picked up a bullpup 12 gauge shotgun and he said i will take 
this.Buffy said i think we should all be armed with pistols and 
either shotguns or the semi automatic machine pistols.Willow said i 
agree with Buffy its better to give the nightwalkers a true idea of 
what weapons we plan to use instead of surprising them later.Cordelia 
said we will need holsters for the guns and Buffy said we sure 
will.Cordelia walked over to the second suitcase that had been bought 
by Henrietta and Joey and she laid it down before opening it up.Angel 
walked over to help her sort through the assortment of holsters and 
he was surprised by some of the holsters.Angel held up one long 
holster that was several feet long and he said what kind of gun fits 
in this thing.Willow looked at it and she said oh thats a shotgun 
holster it goes down alongside a leg.Buffy and the others quickly 
selected the holsters they wanted and then put them along with the 
guns they would be going armed with into the tote bag.Cordelia was 
about to zip up the tote bag when Willow said Cordelia we still need 
to put the loaded clips and other ammo in there.

Cordelia was just zipping up the tote bag when there was a knock on 
the door.Willow went to answer the door and she said who is it 
through the door.Xena said its us Willow are you guys ready its a few 
minutes before seven o'clock.Willow opened the door and she said we 
will be in a minute or two so come in while we finish getting 
ready.Xena and Gabrielle followed Willow into the room and they saw 
that Angel and Cordelia were also there.Buffy picked up her and 
Willow's longcoats off a chair and she passed Willow's coat to her 
before putting on hers.Xena said Buffy arent you and the others 
forgetting something and Willow said no i dont think so.Xena said 
none of you are armed with guns.Cordelia said we decided to wait 
until we got away from the motel to arm ourselves.Gabrielle said 
thats a good idea we dont need to attract attention to ourselves 
around here anyway and Xena said we sure dont.

On the way down to the lobby in the elevator Willow said Xena do you 
think we should go to the warehouse where the vechicles are and 
switch to one or two of them.Xena said there is no need to do that 
Michelle already knows where we are staying and we shouldnt use the 
vechicles until we need them.Angel looked at Willow and he said what 
vechicles did you buy this time.Cordelia said oh just some humvees, 
motorcycles,vans,and sports cars.Angel said Willow what do you expect 
to do with those vechicles after we have wrapped up this 
matter.Willow said well i really hadnt thought about it but then she 
said i guess that any of the vechicles which are undamaged could be 
good presents for certain people.

At the Raven Michelle walked up to Lacroix and she said i see that 
you put up the private party signs on the outside of the club.Lacroix 
said yes we dont need anyone not of the community in here tonight not 
that i believe that many of the community will show up here tonight.
Michelle said oh there will be a large number of the community here i 
already put the word out that i want as many here as possible so that 
they can see the people who shall be helping the enforcers.Lacroix 
said but why and Michelle said because one of them looks almost 
exactly like one of the demon vampires committing the massacres and 
we dont need anyone mistaking her for the demon vampire.Lacroix said 
it might be a good idea for you to place one of your team outside the 
entrance so that the guys outside the door let them pass unheeded 
when they get here.Michelle said thats a good idea Lacroix and she 
walked away from him.

When Xena and the others walked out of the motel's entrance Xena gave
one of the motel workers who parked and retrieved cars for people the
two paper vouchers for the montana and the Lincoln towncar.The man 
ran over to another worker and gave him one of the vouchers while 
punching in the numbers on the voucher into a security access 
pannel.A second later a small tray slid out of a cabinet and the guy 
quickly removed the set of keys out of the tray before it 
automatically went back in.

Five minutes later the montana pulled up right behind the Lincoln 
towncar and Xena said follow us to the raven and Angel said we will 
and then he climbed in behind the wheel.Once out of the motel's 
parking lot Cordelia said its time to arm ourselves and Buffy 
unzipped the tote bag.Buffy,Willow,and Cordelia quickly took off 
their coats and then Buffy and Willow started passing out the 
holsters.Cordelia put on her double shoulder holsters and then a 
gunbelt and then she asked for the pistols she wanted.Buffy handed 
Cordelia the pistols one at a time and then Willow gave her extra 
loaded clips for the guns.Angel asked Cordelia to take hold of the 
steering wheel so he could get armed and Cordelia did so.Angel 
quickly took off his coat and then put on a double shoulder holster 
and a shotgun holster.Willow and Buffy both put on double shoulder 
holsters,shotgun holsters,and belts which had a slot which they could 
slide their swords through.

When they got to the Raven Xena pulled the Lincoln towncar into a 
parking lot across the street from the club and Angel followed her 
into the parking lot.Once the towncar was in a parking space Xena and 
Gabrielle got out of it and waited for Angel and the others to join 
them.When they hadnt been joined in about thirty seconds Xena looked 
over at the montana and she said what is taking them so 
long.Gabrielle started to say lets go find out but then she saw the 
driver's side door open up and Angel step out and the others got were 
getting out as well.They watched as Angel said something to Buffy 
before shutting the driver's door and Buffy handed him something.Xena 
said Gabrielle she just handed him a shotgun and Gabrielle said i 
know i saw it too.Xena started walking toward them and Gabrielle 
followed her.When they met Xena said why did you bring a shotgun this 
is to be a peacefull meeting not a statement of war.Cordelia said 
Xena you told us to come armed and we figured it was best to show 
these guys what we will be armed with so they wont be surprised later 
and have a problem with it or us.Xena said what exactly are each of 
you armed with.Angel said i have two pistols and a shotgun,Buffy said 
two pistols a shotgun and my sword,Willow said two pistols,shotgun,
sword,and my gauntlet.Buffy said damn thats what i forgot to bring 
and Willow said you might have but i didnt and she pulled out two 
gauntlets out of a coat pocket and handed them to Buffy.Buffy said 
what would i do without you Honey and then she leaned forward and 
kissed her before taking the gauntlets and putting them on.Cordelia 
said i have three pistols and my whiplash.Xena looked at Cordelia and 
said whats a whiplash.Angel said thats what she calls it but its 
actually a flexible round titanium whip which has razor sharp blades 
sticking out the sides the last foot and a half.Buffy said Cordelia 
where did you get such a thing and Cordelia said ask Angel he got it 
for me.Xena said ok lets head for the club but do me and everyone a 
favor keep your hands away from the guns.Cordelia said we will unless 
attacked and Gabrielle said i doubt that will happen Michelle and the 
other enforcers will keep the other nightwalkers in line.
