Nick said i will call Tracy when i get back to my apartment but i 
will need you there as well Vachon.Vachon said i know Tracy isnt 
going to take this news good at all.Nick said that is a cantidate for 
the understatement of the century.Nick said i wish Natalie could be 
there she could talk to Tracy since she isnt a vampire but 
understands why i had to keep it a secret from her.Jeannette said 
Nicholah i suggest you call your partner and arrange for her to meet 
you at your loft before she gets involved in something which keeps 
her from coming to see you tonight.

The next second Michelle's cellular phone rang and Michelle pulled it 
out and said hello Michelle speaking.Grace said Michelle its me Grace 
i have some news for you.Michelle said whats the news.Grace said 
me,Jill,and Natalie have only about eight more bodies to autopsy we 
will be done about two pm tommorrow afternoon.Michelle said how did 
you get almost done so quickly i thought it would take you at least a 
couple more days.Grace said we have been working around the clock but 
we are stopping now for the night.Michelle said why and Grace said so 
that we can stall the truck into leaving until either late tommorrow 
afternoon or tommorrow night.Michelle said do you know the route and 
Grace said no i dont and it might arouse someone's suspicions if i 
start asking for the information.Michelle said hold on a second and 
she moved the cellular phone away from her head.Michelle said guys 
Dr.Lambert,Grace,and Jill will finish the autopsies tommorrow and 
they will be heading for Toronto in a refrigerated truck but it must 
not arrive.Aristotle said i can access the police computer and find 
out what route the truck is supposed to take.Michelle said contact 
the elders the moment you find out the route so they can send a team 
to see to it that the refrigerated truck has a terrible accident 
which destroys it completely.Nick said Michelle ask if Natalie,
Grace,and Jill will be returning to Toronto tommorrow also.Michelle 
put the phone to her head and she said Grace will you,Natalie,and 
Jill be returning to Toronto as well.Grace said we will be either 
leaving tommorrow night or the next morning its according to what we 
find and how long it takes us to do the reports on those last 
autopsies.Michelle said well notify me as soon as you three get back 
to Toronto and i want you to keep me informed of whats going on there.
Nick said Michelle tell whoever it is that we need Natalie to make up 
some curaire solution with which we can tranquilize the demon 
vampires by using tranquilizer darts and a hi power tranquilizer 
rifle.Michelle passed on the message to Grace and Grace said she 
would tell Natalie as soon as she got back inside the trailer.

At the police station Tracy Vetter was about to walk out of the 
station to go get some lunch when three men walked into the building 
two of them were wearing suits while the other man was wearing the 
uniform of a Canadian Royal Marine.Tracy stopped to look at them and 
one of the men in a suit said Miss do you work here and Tracy said 
yes i do.The man said oh good and then he said can you please point 
Captain Reese out to us.Tracy looked around and she said thats him 
over there by the water fountain.The three men looked around for the 
water fountain and they saw Captain Reese getting himself a drink of 
water.

Tracy walked out to her car and she was about to climb into it when 
her cellular phone rang.Tracy pulled out the phone and she said hello 
Tracy Vetter speaking.Nick said Tracy its me Nick.Tracy said where 
the hell are you Nick and how could you put in a sudden request for 
time off after what has happened recently especially without letting 
me know so in advance.Nick said i have my reasons and if you will 
come over to my apartment i will tell you them.Tracy said ok i will 
head over there but first i am going to get something to eat.Nick 
said ok and then he said has anything new happened today.Tracy said 
no nothing happened but then she said hold on three men just entered 
the station a few minutes ago and two of them were wearing suits 
while one had on the uniform of a Canadian Royal Marine.Nick said 
damn i was hoping the goverment would reconsider involving the 
millitary or at least give us a little bit more time to handle 
it.Tracy said excuse me partner but if i remeber correctly you are on 
some time off which you put in a request for so its me and all the 
others working on the case without you.

When Nick switched off his cellular phone he said guys i am afraid 
the situation has gotten worse.Michelle said what do you mean and 
Nick said according to Tracy two men wearing suits and one man 
wearing the uniform of a Canadian Royal Marine walked into the police 
station just a few minutes ago.Michelle said what the fuck and then 
she said Aristotle i thought you told me that the goverment officials 
had changed their minds and decided to allow the police the chance to 
round up the people committing the massacres.Aristotle said they did 
i checked the information personally not more than an hour ago.Nick 
said then why are there two men wearing suits and one wearing the 
uniform of a Canadian Royal Marine inside the police station as we 
speak.Aristotle said i do not have the slightest idea why they are 
there.Willow said it is possible they are just there preparing to 
step in and take over if another massacre takes place or something 
isnt come up.Willow said Aristotle check again and Aristotle said ok 
and he got up and walked over to where his laptop was.After putting a 
phone cord into the modem port Aristotle switch on his laptop.Seven 
minutes later Aristotle walked over to the seat he had been in and 
sat back down.Aristotle said i do not know who the men at the police 
station but according to the Canadian millitary's computers there is 
no one at the police station and the millitary isnt supposed to get 
involved for at least ninety six hours from midnight tonight.Buffy 
said if the guys arent with the millitary or the goverment than who 
the heck are they and what are they up to.The next second Willow had 
an idea and she said oh damn please dont let it be any of them.Buffy 
and the others looked at Willow and Lacroix said who are you talking 
about child.Willow said i am talking about the watcher's council.
Buffy said Willow its not likely to be them the Canadian Goverment 
has been kept this situation under tight wraps so i doubt that they 
could have found out about it.Willow said Buffy the watcher's council 
have people in key positions in various goverments and branches of 
millitary for those goverments.Michelle said Aristotle said can you 
use your laptop to patch into the security cameras at the police 
station so we can get a good look at these people.Aristotle said give 
me a few minutes and he got up and walked back over to where his 
laptop was.Nick said Michelle i need to leave now if i am going to 
beat Tracy to the loft.Michelle said go ahead Nick and you go along 
Vachon.

When Grace walked back into the trailer she told Natalie and Jill 
that she had reported to Michelle.Natalie said good.Grace said 
Natalie there is something Michelle and the others want you to do 
once we get back to Toronto.Natalie said what do they want me to 
do.Grace said they want you to make up a batch of the curaire 
solution so they can fill tranquilizer darts with it and knock out 
the demon vampires from a distance.Natalie looked at Grace and she 
said please tell me you arent serious and Grace said of course i 
am.Natalie said fucking damn and she continued to cuss for about a 
minute.Jill said Natalie whats wrong.Natalie said demon vampires are 
different from both your kind of vampires and nightwalkers so i dont 
know if the curaire solution will have any effect on them.Grace said 
oh fucking great and Jill said cant you run some tests and find out 
if it will work.Natalie said yes i could run some tests but it would 
at least take me a month and a half to find out if it would work.Jill 
said Grace you had better call Michelle and give her the bad news and 
Grace said i will call her immedietly.

Aristotle said hey i patched into the security video camera for the 
police station but you are all going to have to come over here to 
take a look at the people in there.They all walked over to where the 
laptop was and they looked at the screen looking at everyone who was 
in the police station.When Buffy got a chance to look she saw 
something with her enhanced slayer sight and she said oh no it cant 
be.Lacroix said what is it did you see someone you recognized.Buffy 
said Aristotle said can you get the laptop to zoom in on the people 
in that office.Aristotle said i cant have the camera zoom in but i 
can snap a picture of the office and zoom it in and bring it better 
in focus as well.Michelle said do it and Aristotle got to work.Two 
minutes later Aristotle said ok i am done.Buffy took one look at the 
picture and she said bloody shit it is that fucking british son of a 
bitch of a watcher's whore.Xena,Aristotle,Lacroix,Jeannette,
Michelle,and Gabrielle all looked at her surprised by what she had 
said.Gabrielle said Buffy which one is he and how do you know 
him.Buffy pointed at one of the men on the screen and she said his 
name is Quentin Travers he is a member of the watcher's 
council.Lacroix cursed in Roman and Michelle said this is just what 
the hell we dont need and Xena said thats for sure.Willow looked at 
the picture and she said he isnt the only watcher the guy in the 
Canadian Royal Marine uniform is a member of the Watcher Council's 
Centurions he accompanied Quentin Travers and several other men when 
they tried to take Buffy to stand before the Watcher's council so she 
could be put on trial for not obeying them and breaking ties with 
them.Jeannette said we must find some way to deal with them without 
attracting attention or revealing the community here.Willow smiled 
and she said damn its too bad that we cant just call her and sic her 
on them.Buffy and the others looked at Willow and Buffy quickly 
caught on.Buffy said yeah it is too bad especially since she really 
wants another crack at Quentin.Xena said Buffy Willow will you please 
stop talking in riddles between yourselves and let us in on what you 
are talking about.Buffy said we are talking about Faith the other 
slayer.Gabrielle said why would Faith want another crack at this 
Quentin Travers.Buffy said because she hates what he and the rest of 
the watcher's council stands for.Angel said she owes him for setting 
her up for a murder she didnt commit which got her placed in prison 
for a year and a half.Michelle said would this Faith come up here 
just to mess with Quentin Travers and his fellow watchers while 
leaving the community completely alone.Buffy said she might if the 
situation is explained to her and if no one messes with her.Michelle 
said i will think about it and discuss it with the elders and get 
back to you in the morning with an answer.

The next moment Michelle's cellular phone rang and Michelle answered 
it instantly.Michelle said hello and Grace said Michelle its me again 
and i am afraid i have some bad news for you.Michelle said whats the 
bad news.Grace said Natalie doesnt know if the curaire solution will 
have any effect on the demon vampires since they are different from 
us.Michelle said well cant she run some tests to find out.Grace said 
yes but the tests would take over a month and a half to be 
done.Michelle said thats just perfect and Grace said we thought you 
guys should be told before you make any solid plans on what to 
do.Michelle said we cant afford to wait that long so have her make 
the curaire solution anyway with a lot of luck the curaire solution 
will knock them out.
