Notes: The keeper sends Faith and Spike to prepare his way. Hope

Sunnydale: 

Buffy, Willow, and Tara sat on the couch is Giles living room talking 
amongst themselves. They had arrived at the watcher's house a half 
hour ago only to catch Giles as he left with Vallen and Kari to greet 
the rest of the Elfin forces that would be arriving shortly.

Angel and Cordelia were seated across form then on a small sofa, the 
brunette grabbed her head and doubled over in pain. She saw herself 
and Angel laying on the floor, with Buffy staring across the room at 
Faith and two hideous creatures who were holding onto the two 
witches, the image then faded and she saw Buffy crying, standing over 
a pair of graves.

Cordelia shot up off the sofa, sweat running down her brow, "Angel we 
all have to get out of here now and find Giles," Cordelia replied 
with a sense of urgency.

"Why? What did you see?"

"I don't think I have time to explain it, we need to leave, all of 
us."

Giles stood next to the Elfin strike force and watched as the 
porthole slowly unfolded. It started as a narrow beam of light in 
the night that spread out to form a doorway. Then a bright array off 
colors shot from the doorway like several rainbows dispersing out in 
the night.

Then they started to emerge, first there was approximately 200 Elfin 
foot soldiers dressed in a mesh armor and carrying short swords. 
After them came about twenty archers, dressed in forest green cloths 
that reminded the watcher of Robin Hood and his merry men. Each of 
the archers had a long bow and wore a sheathed dagger on their 
leather belt.

Next to emerge from the porthole was the knights, there were twenty-
five of them dressed full battle amour. The mages came only ten of 
them but Kari ensured Giles that they were the finest mages in all 
the great forest.

The Elfin army parted in the middle making a path From Giles to the 
porthole. Giles watched as a very old looking Elf in flowing purple 
robes stepped out of the doorway accompanied by two young females 
Elves.

"That is the Elder Talmir, and his Seers," Vallen whispered to Giles.

"My friend it is good to see you again, I trust that all is well," 
Talmir replied after greeting Vallen and the others.

"Yes, the Triad is in place and waiting for us a few miles from here."

"Good then we shall go to them and prepare for our adversary."

Both of the seers went into a trance before anyone else could speak, 
after a few moments one of the look at the Elder, "The Triad is in 
danger."

"We must hurry or all could be lost," replied the second."

Giles face grew pale and a wave of horror swept over him, he had to 
get back to his surrogate daughters, he had to try and protect them.

Xander and Anya were almost to Giles when they came face to face with 
with several vampires. Xander pulled a crucifix and a water pistol 
filled with holy water out of his jacket and took a fighting position 
in front of Anya.

"You think that's gonna do the job mate," Spike replied, moving out 
from behind a nearby tree.

Xander looked over that the peroxide blonde and smiled, "You know I 
tough I would never say this but Spike, I'm glad to see you."

"You shouldn't be," Spike replied, "You know that chip, well its 
gone."

With that the vampires in front of the young couple lunged at them. 
Xander took two of them out with the water pistol and sent one 
reeling backwards after pressing the cross into its forehead. A 
fourth vampire knocked the crucifix out of his hand.

Xander took a swing at the vamp but it was easily blocked as two 
other vampires rushed in. He tried to fight them off but they just 
were just to strong for him to handle and after a few seconds, he and 
Anya found them selves being restrained by the last of the vampires.

Spike walked up to the two terrified lovers with his game face on and 
a sinister smile, "I've been waiting for this for a long time," he 
ran his hand across Xander's neck, "but don't worry if Faith did her 
job right your little witch friends are gonna be waiting there for 
ya."

The front doors to Giles house burst open and several skeleton 
warrios lead by a Dark knight flooded into the living room.

"Out the back," screamed Buffy as she grabbed Willow and Tara's hands.

The groups turned and ran across the living room towards the kitchen 
only to be greeted by Faith and 5 more skeleton warriors, "Ya didn't 
think I would let ya get away that easy, did ya B."

The skeleton warriors charged at the group from all sides.

Willow and Tara began casting protections spell over their friends as 
Buffy and Angel desperately fought off the skeleton warriors.

Buffy did a leg sweep on one of the skeletons and quickly disarmed 
him once he hit the ground. She spun around with his sword and 
sliced a second skeleton warrior in half sending a pile of bones 
crashing to the ground.

Angel threw on his game face he grabbed on of the warriors and ripped 
off it skull, then used the skull to beat it into a pile of bones. 
Another one of the skeletons grabbed him from behind, the souled 
vampire broke its grip and flipped the monster over his shoulder, he 
then retrieved the first skeletons sword from the floor. 

Buffy sliced another of the skeletons in half and was engaging in 
battle with the yet another of the monsters when she heard a scream. 
The slayers knocked the skeleton backwards and spun around, she saw 
Angel rushing at two or the undead warriors that had grabbed 
Cordelia, thinking the situation was under control she turned her 
attention towards the skeleton warriors closest to her and her wives.

Angel punched on of the skeletons with such force that it knocked the 
creatures head of, he was ready to face of with the other one when he 
heard a low guttural growl from behind him. The brooding vampire 
spun around and glared at the six-foot tall black knight that was 
standing there with a long sword in hand. Angel barely got his sword 
up in time to block the Dark Knights initial assault. He quickly 
countered with a series of blows and thrust but the Dark Knight 
matched his every move.

Finally there was a opening and Angel took it. He pierced the Dark 
knights armor at his abdomen with a powerful thrust, but in doing so 
he left himself open. The Knight thrust his sword downward deep into 
angels right shoulder causing the vamp to drop his weapon and stager 
back a few feet.

Cordelia went to rush over to Angel only to be hit across the back of 
the head by the Hilo of a skeleton warriors sword. The last thing 
she saw before she slipped into darkness was the Dark Knight ramming 
his sword deep into Angels chest.

Buffy caught the last of what had happened and rushed at the knight. 
The wounded monster barely got his defenses up intime to block the 
slayers initial assault, but she kept coming.

Buffy was slowly wearing the Dark knight down when she heard Willow 
and Tara both scream.

That moment of distraction gave the dark Knight a chance to knocker 
her backwards. Buffy spring back up to her feet, the dark Knight was 
in the floor holding both his hands over the wound Angel had given 
him. She raised her sword and was going to move in for the kill but 
stopped dead in her tracts in horror


Behind the dark knight Faith stood their laughing. Next to her 
Willow and Tara were being held captive by two skeleton warriors. 
She felt like her heart was going to explode as the undead warriors 
held daggers close to her lovers throats.

Faith watched terror and dread fill Buffy's face, "Looks like I win 
B."
