Re: FF: IT: Chapter Seventeen

I'm definitely going to have to read 'It' one of these days', although I
probably won't enjoy it as much as I did this. It was nice to see Wills
finally find some peace after the turmoil of her life before she met the
Slayer. The contrast between the way she handled Pennywise when she was a
child and as an adult was striking. No hesitation, no fumbling about, just a
quick, clean, devastating thrust to the core of the horror that was It. The
final chapter gave a sense of closure for the surviving members of the
chosen. Maybe the nightmares can be laid to rest now, especially for Willow,
replaced by happier dreams with Buffy. Speaking of Buffy, who would have
guessed that the Slayer would be into a little kinkiness, and as the
submissive, at that. A very different view of the Buffy/Willow dynamic, and
very satisfying at that.
