The Incomplete Pass

Greetings one and All,

Just a quick question to all you B/W fic officiandos out there. I was
reading a fic earlier and the thought crossed my mind How almost without
exception every pass either Buffy or Will have made at one another has been
100% successful. I guess it's kind of a no brainer considering the group but
this is far from the only group I'm in and it seems every fic I've read
where it's happened success has ensued.

What I'm after is if anyone knows of any fics where either Buffy or Willow
make the play and the pass is incomplete, so to speak. My actual thought was
that it's be very interesting to see a B/W shipper explore one that had
failed really badly, you know the old cliched "I don't want this to effect
our friendship" but what if it did, and badly.

Please don't get me wrong I'm in no way anti B/W (far from it) but this is
more the writer in me coming out and being curious to see how it could be
handled. If I had any time I'd consider doing it myself, but having said
that I'm not sure I could do it justice, coz when I do dark I do REAL dark,
which I don't think this would be. *shrug*

So there it is, anyone know of any where it all falls apart after a failed
pass??

And if you don't maybe all the writers out there could consider this an
impromptu challenge
