Bargaining spoilers/ pro Willow

okay i read an argument stating that willow only brought back buffy for 
power and because she could so i went back and rewatched the entire thing 
and here's my take on this...

when talking to xander, willow seemed totally worried about where buffy's 
soul ended up, having known from past experience that no matter how good you 
are the hellmouth always seems to jack things up for you therefore it's a 
valid point.

don't forget the title itself, big clue there, Bargaining, what exactly did 
she exchange to bring buffy back, when she and xander were in the woods he 
asked her what it was that they got into and she replied that it no longer 
mattered, thinking that they had failed, meaning that it must have been 
huge.

W:I just, the spell took a lot out of me.
X:As, for example snakes? How come you didn't tell us how much_
W:Not now.
X:What were we into back there Will?
W:It doesn't matter anymore.

one theory may therein state that she perhaps gave Osiris her soul (notice 
that after the red flame stuff left when the urn was broken a white essence 
passed through her) or she might even have agreed to some kind of 
enslavement for a period of time, it could have been anything considering 
that she saw the buffybot and in her desperation when she realized that it 
might have been followed have agreed to anything.

As for the animal sacrifice, she placed the burden on herself completely 
when she went out by herself, and even during the act she seemed very 
disturbed by her own actions.

finally remember this, love blinds us to our own actions. she lost buffy, 
her best friend, her family; and in wanting to make things right, or better 
she did her own version of a selfless act and in doing so may have finally 
done, by her own hands, what the hellmouth never could, damn her soul and 
defile her innocense.
