Sorry, but Alyson Hannigan has signed on for both seasons six and seven. So the odds are against her being bumped off, at least permanently. My prediction is that she'll go all Dark Side of the Force for a while, but Buffy and/or Tara will fight whatever demon is responsible for her soul, and finally win.

The new watcher will bear an uncanny resemblance to Jeri Ryan.


Again, sorry but no cigar. Jeri Ryan has already signed on as a new castmember in the Fox Network high school drama "Boston Public". She's playing a former corporate lawyer who gets tired of the law and decides to becomea teacher.
