Ratings for Buffy and Angel



Hey, 

Here are the Buffy ratings for the week..Lost to Gilmore Girls by almost nothing , but still...Most likely it's a side effect of the whole campain the"We love Willow" group was setting up...For some reason they don't seem very please with the way things are going...Can't think of a reason why : ) ...Roswell still falling...You know, maybe it's just me , but the thought ofseing one hour of a Plot-what-plot Roswell appeals to me more than to watch a show where Clark is best friends with Lex and Lois is not in the picture...But then that may be because Maria is looking soooooooooooo HOT this season....On a different night , Friends beat Survivor ...again...Gotta say ,i'm not a fan of reality shows, but i'm glad Friends is doing well this season...These four first eps were great...I love R&R...so cute...It almost makes me forget about my Buffy-issues...Almost...Well that was it...I'm shutting up now...But before, here's Angel :

"7th Heaven" started things off for The WB at 8 p.m. with a 6.9/10, followed at 9 p.m. by an all-new "Angel," 4.0/6.

CBS Keeps Hold on Tuesday; 'Smallville' Strong For WB

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Fast Affiliate Ratings for Oct. 16, 2001 

CBS pulled out another victory on Tuesday night (Oct. 16), according to theFast Affiliate ratings. CBS pulled an 11.1 rating/17 share on the night, with NBC coming in second with a 7.2/11. ABC was third, 5.9/9 while FOX tooka 5.3/8. The WB took a 5.6/8 (5.0/7 last week) in the overnight-metered market ratings and may end up in fourth on the night, while UPN will end up in sixth, 3.5/5 (4.2/6). Among adults 18-49, FOX led the night with a 4.7/12, followed by NBC's 4.4/11 and CBS' 4.3/11. ABC rounded out the top four nets with a 3.6/9. 

CBS won the eight o'clock hour with "JAG" scoring an 11.5/18, while comingin second among adults 18-49, 4.2/11. The military drama was also the most-watched show of the night, with nearly 17 million viewers. "The Guardian" continued to do well from 9-10 p.m., winning the overall hour with a 10.5/16, and taking 4.0/9 among adults 18-49, third for the hour. At 10 p.m., "Judging Amy" won the hour with an 11.2/18, and took the hour in the 18-49 demo, 4.7/12. 

"Emeril" still isn't bringing home the bacon for NBC, taking a dangerous 4.9/8 at 8 p.m., and only 6.8 million viewers. The show also trailed all nets with a 2.6/7 in the 18-49 demo. At 8:30 p.m., "Three Sisters" posted almost identical numbers, taking a 4.9/8 in households, 6.9 million viewers, and a slightly higher 18-49 demo, 3.1/8. "Frasier" jumped to a 10.0/15 at 9 p.m., and was NBC's most-watched show with 15.1 million viewers. It also ledthe half-hour in 18-49 with a 6.2/15. At 8:30 p.m., "Scrubs" still delivered respectable numbers, taking an 8.1/12, good for second in the half-hour.It also led the 18-49 demo with a 5.7/13. At 10 p.m., "Dateline NBC" took a 7.7/12, good for second in the hour. 

ABC started things off with "Dharma & Greg" featuring Dharma walking againafter her accident, taking a 6.2/10. The show also took a 3.4/9 in the 18-49 demo, good for third in the half-hour, and was ABC's most-watched show with 9.3 million viewers. A repeat of and "Dharma & Greg" followed, replacing the cancelled "What About Joan," and actually held very steady, pulling a6.1/9 and 9.1 million viewers. It was also grew among adults 18-49, takinga 3.9/10. "Spin City" moved to 9 p.m. for the network, and managed a 5.2/8for the half-hour, and a 3.9/9 among adults 18-49. The new Jason Alexandercomedy "Bob Patterson" moved to 9:30 p.m., and slipped from its lead-in, taking a 4.9/7 in households, 3.3/8 in adults 18-49. At 10 p.m., "Philly" was third for the hour with a 6.4/10. The show also trailed among adults 18-49, 3.7/9. 

n The WB, "Gilmore Girls" took a 4.6/7 in the metered markets (5.0/7), followed by the premiere of "Smallville," which delivered strong numbers at 9 p.m., 6.7/10. 

"That '70s Show" started things off for FOX at 8 p.m. with a 6.3/10 and 10.1 million viewers, making it FOX's top-rated and watched show on the night.It also pulled a 5.4/15 among adults 18-49, winning the half-hour. "Undeclared" followed with a 5.3/8, winning the half hour among adults 18-49 with a 4.8/12. From 9-10 p.m., "Love Cruise: The Maiden Voyage" aired its finalewith a 4.7/8, and was the net's top-ranked 18-49 show with a 5.9/14. 

"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" turned in a 4.4/6 (4.9/7) in the metered marketsfor UPN at 8 p.m., followed by a less-impressive number from fellow WB refugee "Roswell," which took a 2.8/4 (3.6/5).

You Know you're a true fan of a show when you read something like this and laugh because it reminds you of yourself...It's quite interesting...sad, but interesting...

CBG: Last night's Itchy & Scratchy was, without a doubt, the
worst episode ever. Rest assured I was on the internet
within minutes registering my disgust throughout the
world.
Bart: Hey, I know it wasn't great, but what right do you
have to complain?
CBG: As a loyal viewer, I feel they owe me.
Bart: What? They're giving you thousands of hours of
entertainment for free. What could they possibly owe
you? I mean, if anything, you owe them.
CBG: Worst episode ever.
