Fantastic work. So wonderfully evocative of the love we see in every
frame, a love that, please Joss, is not going to get stomped on this
year--

--although a small part of me is still dreaming about the fact that
Joss once said Angel was NOT Buffy's soulmate (yeah, I know, he was just
excusing splitting them up so he could have two shows), and that makes
me wonder if JW has an idea who it is (certainly not soulless Spike,
right?). And if that idea is what I hope it is, and all of this (Riley,
Tara, what we fear about Season 6) is merely potholes on the road to
bliss?and then I wake up-- 

--anyhow, loved your description of their first night together and
Buffy's glowing with the secret she has to let out, and Faith's quiet
approval (I think that girl would have been a lot more stable if Buffy'd
been in a real relationship, rather than no-hoping it out of guilt with
Angel), and, well, the whole fic. In fact, I love it so much I may
borrow a concept (and give you massive attribution and props, natch).

Now all I want is the sequel, with Buffy and Willow sharing the good
news.

Massive thanks to Gui for cheering you up and inspiring this (similarly
inspirational?) fic.
