I can't help it. Whenever I post, the empty space calls to me to add 
something. Usually based on whatever I'm watching or doing at the

"Gyah!" Xander woke in a cold sweat. Beside him, Anya mumbled 
something incoherent and turned over slightly. The damn dream again. 
He sighed.
"Why won't you let people know we are engaged?" she'd asked, and for 
that he had no answer. How could he tell her he didn't really love 
her, and that the woman he did love would love everyone else *except* 
him?
He closed his eyes, and found himself back in the dream.
Buffy fought, hard, battling against him and yet he was winning. 
She was nude, as she always was within his dreams, but somehow it 
wasn't erotic. he felt that if he lost here, somehow all would be 
lost in the real world...
Tara and Willow arrived on the scene, as they always did, naked, 
and beat him backwards with with flowers. Forced away under the 
onslaught of daffodils and daisies, he redoubled his efforts to reach 
Buffy. And he did, as he always had. The moment he grabbed her, 
Willow and Tara stopped fighting and stood, arms crossed. Buffy 
suddenly became week and submissive.
"I'll be yours, Xander, " she whispered. "Forever. You only had to 
win my heart against all odds."
"And I will always fight for you," he replied. "Always."
Buffy's eyes widened in sudden pain as she slumped to the floor. 
Behind her, face transformed, smoke trailing from the barrels of his 
shotgun, Spike snarled, "I'll never let her be yours! I'd kill her 
first!"
